| It seemed to be a lovely day for a stroll. For the last couple of days the skies had given them nothing but rain, but today the sun was shining, and life was springing from its nice fresh drink. Hiyro Yuzuki hadn't been here for very long, but the little time that had been spent was mostly cooped up in his office. He had no time to meet anyone, other then those who came into his office to give him more paper work. But all that was all done thanks to his double all nighter he pulled. He had only just finished it and saw the sun peeking up. Deciding that a walk would do some good to clear his mind, he put the last few pieces of paper in their proper place, his desk now neatly organized and tidy. As opposed to the mess it had been three days ago. He was getting used to the amount of work, be it slowly.
Standing, he walked out of his office, and out of the 1st division building. It was still early dawn, so he doubted that many would be awake, so this stroll should be peaceful. Shoving his hand in his captain's robes, he shuffled along in his raised wooden sandals. As the sun peaked over the buildings, its warm rays touched his cheeks, and he closed his eyes, just enjoying the peace and quiet. He knew that this path did not curve for a long while, so he would be able to relax and walk with his eyes closed for a while. It was so relaxing. As his mind wandered off into a day dream, his feet lead him down the dirt path, eventually ending up in front of the 10th division barracks. Unfortunately, as he was passing the entrance, he collided with someone who had been departing the building, causing Hiyro to falter back a step, his eyes snapping open.
"Whoa! Sorry 'bout that! Didn't see ya there!" He said, smiling at the person who he had almost just mowed over.

| The redhead gave up on the reports as the signs of the approaching dawn entered the windows; she blew out the lamp that someone of her higher officers had placed next to her desk at some point. A quick shower, clean clothes, a decent breakfast not hastily eaten in the office would make wonders for Rina. She pulled the white haori on and grabbed her sandals from the basket, she hastily inspected the soles, deciding that they were clean she fastened them on as she walked out from the office, she held Byakko loosely in her hand, the felines spirit seemed to be in deep sleep as no purr was heard. Rina longed for a calm place to lazy around, a place were no runners, messengers, anxious division members or… she was knock backwards onto her knee and Byakko was partly drawn. The tenth captain was part abhorred, part annoyed that someone managed to knock her down. She stared up the perpetrator, and saw to her surprise that it was Yuzuki-soutaicho.
“Yuzuki-soutaicho, I apologize, the mistake is as much mine,” Rina said as she slid Byakko into her place again, the spirit was growling rather annoyed at the rude awakening. “I was not paying proper attention to my surroundings,” she stood and bowed to the soutaicho, she then adjusted her slightly ruffled clothes.
She had been one of the witnesses to Hiyro’s trial and she had seen the power that he carried inside, even if he in some ways seemed very young and fragile. Rina was confident that Hiyro would prove to be a good leader.

| He let out a small chuckle at her words, having been convinced that the blame was on him. Apparently he hadn't been the only one not paying attention. Hiyro knew this woman, she had been at his initiation. He remembered her from her hair, which was so similar to his own. There were a few others he remembered from the initiation, but her distinguishing feature stuck out to him, therefore he remembered her. When he received his reports on all the captains, hers was one of the first he looked at. Of course he had spent many hours studying these reports, getting to know his captains. It was essential if he wanted to be a good leader.
Returning her bow as she stood, he nodded at her second remark. "Seems we were both distracted by our thoughts. Can't blame ya though, theres a lot to be distracted by lately." he said, referring to the disparateness casually. Not that he didn't take these events very seriously, because there was no doubt that he did. Keeping a strong exterior was necessary in the face of adversity. Right now Soul Society needed a strong individual to lead them through this recent turmoil, until their comrades return.

| Rina hid a yawn awith her hand, her thoughts still on a nap in her own bed and some decent food. “Aa, the pressure on the divisions have been great the last few days, personally I have read through more papers then I had ever done previous,” Rina said as she pushed a rouge lock behind her ear. “I would be satisfied to never read a report again,” she added with a more jokingly voice. She hated these reports since they all were about the missing persons, some of them had been her friends and reading those reported from the Rukongai made her uncomfortable since some were about children.
“I was hoping to find a place open at this hour and get a decent meal, would you like to join me?” Rina said looking over at her fellow redhead, even if she was rather convinced that Hiyro’s hair was natural and hers were dyed.

| Smiling and letting out a sigh, h nodded "I know what you mean. I was beginning to think I'd forgotten what it's like outside my office." Since his arrival he had yet to go many places other the his office, which was unfortunate, but he was out and about now, so there was no better time to explore his new home. He wasn't going to let the stress of all this paperwork get to him. The last thing he needed right now was to be a huge pile of frazzled nerves. He wondered how the previous Captain Commander kept their sanity. It would be nice to be able to ask them he thought to himself. But alas, Hiyro would have to figure it out on his own.
At the same moment she asked if he would like to join her for something to eat. With a small laugh, he placed his hand on his rumbling stomach, looking down at it. "Hah, well I guess i have no say in it! My stomach answered for me!" he said with a chuckle, looking back up at her. "I don't really know anywhere, but I'm sure we can find some place that'll serve us, ne?"

| “You are unfamiliar with Seireitei?” Rina asked as she guided them out onto the streets empty outside the 10th division barracks. Of course Rina had never seen the man before his trials, and that was something considering the fact that she had been lieutenant and before that high ranked officer in the tenth, a division that kept reports and duty roosters of most shinigami.
And yet he was a blank card, she had spent some time digging through her archives but had come up empty handed, Hiyro was an unsolved mystery; one that she very much wanted to solve. “At this hour there is not many places that have lit their fires but I there is a small kitchen near the western gate I usually go to, we might have to wait a little but they are worth it.” She liked the kitchen since it was affordable and yet had big plates to fill her hunger, for her petit size she ate a lot, something that people usually teased her about.

| He shook his head at her question, tucking his hands in his robes as they walked along. "No, I've only ever been a couple of times, and it was at night when everything was closed." outside of his life in Rukongai growing up, he had spent most of his days within the of the royal houses, only leaving from his fake body guard position to carry out his missions. Even though the Onmitsukidō were part of the second division, he had only visited the barracks a handful of times.
He almost laughed as his stomach grumbled loudly again as the mention of food. "Sounds delicious. I don't mind waiting, although it may be boring if my stomach keeps this it, it'll drown out all our conversation." he said with a small chuckle at his own lame joke, He didn't expect her to laugh at it, he had already gotten his amusement from it.
