~Birth~
Gabriel Djibrail was born to a noble, respectable family in Soul Society. Both his parents were highly ranked Quincies; well respected amongst the Quincy community. And their pride was what ruled them; Gabriel was raised just as if his similar-named angel counterpart would have been. Very strictly, very righteously; better than any other kind of child. By the age of 5, he already knew common courtesies amongst guests; he knew how to bow, how to speak respectably. He even had a distinct, genuine signature for himself.
Quincy?
Up till the age of 8, Gabriel only knew about his family and his home. He knew that his parents regularly had guests; he knew of dressing up for the occasion. Pretty much everything a spoiled rich kid would know, except he had no pride. He was, after all, a child.
After his 9th birthday, his small little world in his parents' mansion suddenly grew bigger. He never had parties, but his parents would always tell him when his birthday was. This birthday, his father took him out of the mansion; an act he had never done before. Gabriel's eyes dimmed at seeing the bright lights of Soul Society; all the strange, ragged people on the streets. Yet that was not his father's purpose. His purpose, was to teach his son the principles of being a Quincy. He was given his own Quincy Cross; a Christian Crucifix, just like his parents. And thus began his training as a Quincy... one of the best there was to be.
He learnt how to manipulate spiritual particles; how to draw them into his self. He never learned how to create his Bow from Reiryoku till he was 13; a teenager. He was continually taught all about Quincies; weekday and weekend, he was restless. His personality, however, was slowly diminishing. Unlike most children of his age, his mental growth was the lowest at this point. Only in the present does he truly regret this period of his life; back then, he loved learning about his true heritage.
And now...
After he turned 16, his mentality was as retarded as it could get; not in the sad, crippled kind of way; he had a complete other way of thinking. He hated Shinigamis, for one. And he also thought his parents were weak; neither his father nor his mother would practice shooting arrows with him any more.
This was a decision he lived to regret for the rest of his life.
He ran away. He took only his Quincy clothing, his Cross, and the Sanrei Glove he had obtained on his 15th birthday. He never looked back, nor did he really think of his parents back then; just as they had raised him, Gabriel had lost his humanity. His parental affection that should've grown all these years.
The feeling was mutual. His parents never worried about him. Even though his mother fainted at the thought of him running away, they got used to it. And Gabriel never came to visit the retired Quincies, ever.
17 now, Gabriel joined the Quincy Offensive Squad, after proving his worth gallantly. Moka is his leader; he follows her as he should have followed his father. Only very rarely does he look back on the past, with all his regrets finally being realized...

Techniques Name: Hirenkyaku - Flying Screen Step
Description: Similar to the Shinigami Flash Step, this technique allows a Quincy to move a great distance in short time. To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances.

Name: Patriotic Assault
Description: Wielding the Quincy Bow, the user fastens several successive arrows onto the string, and shoots them out simultaneously. Each individual arrow is generally weaker than a single shot arrow, but altogether, the damage caused by them is devastating.

RP SAMPLE:Yakate suddenly found himself in a forest. A lush forest, with spaced out trees, and the sun shining brightly from the canopy above. He found himself lying flat on the grassy floor. Pushing himself up, he began walking. Where he was going, he did not know...
Presently, he found himself staring at a cave's mouth in front of a huge cliff. What made him walk in it, he did not know; it was as if he was a puppet, being controlled by a greater force.
The cave was pitch black. Amazingly, Yakate could see and navigate clearly. He felt at home, though he still didn't know why. Then came the bats. But instead of defending himself like he should have, he actually smiled, and let them flutter all around him. What was happening?...
He began falling... a tunneling fall, with the bats shrouding him from all sides. He could see nothing, and yet he was not worried. Pretty soon, he didn't know if he was falling, or just floating. It was an odd sensation; the bats were like his family...
Something wasn't quite right. His dream-like floating had begun to change. The bats no longer seemed like his friends; rather, they seemed hostile now. A searing pain had coursed within his body; undoubtedly caused by the bats...
And yet, he gave in. Uncharacteristically, he submitted to the pain; to the volatility of the dark bats surrounding him. And they slowly began to disappear, along with the pain. The blackness turned into white, and then...
