~Personality~

Personality: Shuya is generally self-contained and doesn't talk much. He does what he's told without question and works diligently in the tasks he is assigned to do and hates conversing with others as he already does not socialize very well. That said, he tries to avoid talking to others, especially those who are in his division and his captain. Shuya is also a perfectionist, seeking to learn much and perfect his skills with his zanpaktu, not for the protection of others or for shear power, but for the protection of himself. He wishes for his own protection because he feels uncomfortable around others and is naturally shy due to this characteristic.

History: Shuya's had a very troubled childhood. His father left him before he was born, his mother was a manic-depressive and hardly cared for him at all. He took his own life at the age of twelve feeling that it would be best if his mother didn't have a child to look after and he joined the soul society where he learned more about himself than he could, living. While he was alive, he behaved similarly to how he does now. Only difference is that Shuya spoke a little more and smiled often to try and feel better about himself while dealing with his mother.
Being an only child during his life, he didn't have any one else to talk to, let alone trust because his mother was so uncaring about him and barely did anything. He had never seen his father and his mother never talked about him so Shuya learned to become independent, especially with a very bad mother like his. He was also bullied by other children all during his childhood, so that later contributed to his self-contained behavior. Now, with life in the soul society, he's learned to better defend himself and made it his goal to obtain true personal strength and wisdom.

~Zanpakuto Information~

Blade Name: Howaitokurēn
Sealed Blade appearance:Blue sheath with white flame decor running down one side of the sheath, the sword handle is wrapped in blue and white cloths and the guard is in the shape of a lotus flower's petals
Zanpaktou spirit:The spirit is very arrogant and loves poking fun at Shuya's quiet nature.
Inner world: The world is filled with calm, crystal clear ponds, rivers waterfalls and lush green grass.

~Shikai Information~

Release Phrase: Sentinel of a thousand crystals, Kesshō ryū
Released blade appearance: Blade tints blue and becomes adorned with white crane etchings across the entire length of the blade on both sides. The part of the guard disappears and is replaces with a finger hole, the rest of the lotus petal guard turns white, the handle turns into a solid blue and white grip.

~Shikai Techniques/Abilities~
Name of abilty/technique: Crystalline fortress
Description: A large wall of light blue crystals rises up from the ground in front of the user.
Duration: Durations lasts for about 3 posts.
Cool Down: Wall recedes into ground after 5 posts if it is not broken in some way.
Preparation: User stabs around at its feet around it three times, taps each hole once and makes an upward waving motion

And please extend your history to at least two paragraphs, as 4th Seat is still a "high" position in terms of Bleachverse. His age is also somewhat low, considering his "high position" and due to the fact that people age slower in soul society. Please do something with it.

OK, if four sentences to a paragraph is good enough, that's 2 paragraphs there. It was difficult coming up with his history before and I really should have given it some thought today.
