Personality: Ken is a complex individual. At times he can be rude but at the same time he can act quite serious and caring. Those that he sees as his friends he thinks of as his family and would protect with his life. On the same token, he also finds it hard to trust new individuals. He is sensitive to others feelings and very observant and can usual discern if there is something bothering them or amiss. But contradictory to his usual behavior he has a horrible temper. Though the fuse is slow to light when he gets angry his personality flips.

Ken strongly detests the idea of suicide. He believes that all life deserves a chance, and for one to end their own is not only selfish, but also unforgivable. Therein why he in a way considers himself immortal, even though it requires he feed on the souls of the dead, since he will in no way consume the souls of the living. One must do all they must do in order to survive, and as such it is in his being to do what must be done for himself to survive. He holds no regrets in having to take these actions as much as he takes no pleasure from them, but stopping and ultimately killing himself is out of the question. These ideals ultimately stem from the sadness he still holds from slowly watching his loved ones lose their lives. There is an immense loneliness within immortally. To where someone can see only infinite longevity and beauty, Ken can only see pain and sadness. While it is true the perks of being an immortal can be great, it is often times that the bad can outweigh the good. With this life, one can never reside in a place for too long, out of the suspicion of others and what they must think of them never aging (Witch Hunts being a common occurrence in most of his life). Also, if one is too get too close to a human, they must also realize that human lives are finite, and soon enough, they will perish. Some choose to never associate with humans or get too close, resulting in this loneliness, or...they will simply lose the ones they loves, causing an even greater loneliness. These decisions are hard ones, but they are unavoidable in the life of an immortal.

Master of Weapons: Over his long years, and especially the 200 years of crusades, Ken became more than proficient in a multitude of weapons and offensive techniques. These weapons including all of which were used during the crusades and following wars thereafter. Though, his main focus has been the Martial Arts, which he took keen interest in, believing that if one lost their weapon, they still needed to know how to defend themselves.

Reiatsu Stealth: Like the rest of his kind, Ken is able to conceal his very spiritual presence, making stealth all the easier.

Enhanced Speed: While not having access to Shunpo or similar techniques, Ken has repeatedly demonstrated tremendous raw speed, capable of disappearing from unfocused eyes.

Enhanced Strength: Ken has also shown to have deceptive raw strength.

Spirit Particles Absorption: While not capable of manipulating spiritual energy like the Shinigami or Quincy can, Ken is able to absorb energy in the atmosphere to heal himself faster depending on how strong the concentration is and gradually increase his physical and doll might.

History: (tell us about your character's past)

Ken was born in the Byzantine Empire in 12/26/1072, though his name was "Dominicus Basiliakos" at this time. The world was going through many changes, the most of which involved religion. Monotheism began to take over Polytheistic beliefs, and as such, each religion wanted to prove that they were right, and the others were wrong. Though more was involved than just that, that simplistic viewpoint was the basis of most of the conflicts throughout the world at this time. Many others tried to hide their ambitions through religion, when it was really just for personal gain.

Ken grew up in this turbulent time, one of five children belonging to a royal family, a king that ruled but only a small land and answered to the Emperor of Byzantine. Ken and his five siblings held a luxurious life, he being the eldest of the five was next in line for the throne. As such, he was held in high regard and put through much training. He studied with only the finest of texts and he trained with only the strongest of Knights within their land. He showed high proficiency in his studies as well as his combat training, so much so that his father began to train Ken himself. Little did many know, Ken's father was a bounto. His father could sense that Ken held power within him, his genes unexpectedly passing on to his offspring. None of his siblings exhibited these powers.

Over the years, his father began to train and mold Ken's powers, informing him of what he was and explaining to him why he had not needed to consume souls up to that point. Ken's doll was unlike many others in the fact that it was a sentient being that did not obey Ken in anyway shape or form, yet, it was sealed within him. In detest, it had to bend to Ken's will, unknowingly to Ken himself, yet, it did what it needed to do to keep them both alive. It would consume the souls of the recently deceased within the kingdom, sustaining Ken's life as well as the dolls, thus Ken did not have to physically devour souls in order to live, his doll would handle that. The fact that his doll was not under his command frightened the boy, wondering if the doll could ever decide to take him over. The King realized that this could be a possibility, as with every day Ken aged and grew in power, the doll aged and grew as well. Thus, from that day forward Ken trained in order to dominate and command the power within himself.

Thirteen long years passed after this, and Ken was now 23. This was an age that many would consider "old" during the 11th century. His father had killed himself after their mother passed away due to illness, he opted not to continue consuming souls after this and thus perished. Ken was next in line for the throne after this, but declined, opting for his younger brother, Brutus to take the throne. Ken never felt the type to lead in such a fashion, instead deciding to join the Crusades that had begun at this time and were raging in the Holy Land. This worked well for Brutus, as the Emperor demanded recruits from their land. This gave him a chance to train himself even further, but also to learn about a world he had only heard about in the texts that he read.

The next 196 years of his life were spent traveling from battlefield to battlefield. No one noticed his inability to age, because most of the people whom he grew close to perished, and the ability to decide where one wanted to fight next helped him to conceal his identity. There was no training better than actual combat, and Ken was able to endure 196 years of it, his mastery of his doll exceeding even his own expectations. His knowledge also grew as he read the books of the Holy Lands and learned of the philosophy of many scholars and new ideals and ways of thinking. He started to see truly how pointless these crusades were and how was nurtured, compared to within the nature of human beings. Ken had become a worldly man, desiring to travel and to learn more about this world with the infinite time he had been graced with. But as his years continued he would find this infinite time was as much a curse as it was a gift.

It has now been 720 years later and Ken now resides within Japan in a city known as Karakura town. It has been twenty years since he moved to this city, yet, he has lived in Japan for over 100 years now. He has seen countless battles in his life and participated in many wars, yet, he has also become a very wise man. Using the time that he has been granted, he has also become wealthy, living in a large estate housed within Karakura. At the moment, he has only met two other Bounto, his father and an acquaintance he met hundreds of years ago, yet he doesn't remember his name.

Description: Laocoön was born within Ken while still a young boy, taking the form of an ethereal knight, adorned in armor from his torso down. Unlike other Bounto dolls, Laocoön resides within Ken, never being physically drawn out like other dolls, yet able to give Ken his powers to use himself. The upside to a bond such as this one is that there is no medium needed in order to draw out Laocoön's powers, the downside of a bond such as this one is that it requires that you be able to submit the doll to your will. Ken was lucky in this case, as despite Laocoön's visage he was not a malevolent being, which further decreased the time in order to master this doll. After obtaining mastery of Laocoön, a tattoo formed on Ken's arm, both a reminder of his position as master of Laocoön and to activate their full potential, the mark glowing a bright white as they do.

Laocoön is a very proud doll, submitting only to those who have proven themselves to be true to whatever their cause is, be it to help others or to dominate the world. The only thing he respects in most people is their determination and will. He has been known to kill many of would be masters during his extensive "life" because they have lacked these characteristics and attempted to subdue him. He has great respect for Ken in the fact that he truly believes in his ideals. Seeing his work ethic and the way that he lives his life, Laocoön has no other goal but to see Ken's out to the end.




Techniques(no more than 5 unique abilities to begin with )

When released Laocoön takes the form of a liquid metal alloy, an alloy which is stronger and harder than Tungsten yet as light as titanium, and is immune to rusting. This liquid metal usually flows through Ken's bloodstream when not utilized outside of his body in it's unreleased state. When it is within his body, he can control it's flow and utilize the weight and force of this metal in unarmed combat (at which he is a master of), increasing his damage he can inflict significantly and allowing him to take far more damage than normal. When this liquid metal is released it flows out of the tattoo on Ken's arm, bending and turning into anything that Ken wills, though, this object cannot be larger than 15 sq. feet.

Duration: The object that the metal has transformed into lasts until he decides to transform it into something else, or seal his doll.

Name: Hydrargyria
Description: If Ken is able to land attacks using his liquid metal, he is able to inject some of this metal into the bloodstream of the opponent, which slowly begins to poison them. The effects of this poison are minimal at first, but the more that the opponent is harm and subjugated to this poisoning the effects cane become fatal.

Preparation time: When exposed for the first time, the opponent starts to feel sensory impairment to their vision, hearing, speech. The second time that they are exposed they feel disturbed sensations and a lack of coordination. The third time that they are exposed they will begin to feel damage to their joints, causing a large amount of pain when moving. The fourth time of exposure will cause damage to their lungs, causing excruciating pain when breathing. A fifth exposure after all of this will begin to affect the brain, causing the opponent to become uncontrollable tired and fatigued. Compounding exposures after these four levels can lead obviously cause death. After said fight, it would be advisable to undergo a procedure to clean out their bloodstream of the poison.
Duration: Each level of the poison lasts for two posts, if another hit isn't landed upon the enemy within those two posts the effect of the poison isn't compounded and it will wear off. So, if Ken can't hit them again and make them go from stage one to stage two within two posts, then poison will wear off and he'll have to try again.

Name: Evaporation
Description: Shifting the physical state of the metal he is able to turn it into a gaseous form, this allows the metal to be able to flood the air of the battlefield around him. When metals are in gas form, they cannot be seen or smelled. This allows Ken to better make use of his Hydrargyria technique. The only way for one to know they are being poisoned is by them starting to feel the symptoms, which happen at a faster rate as they are fully breathing the metal in. The downside to this technique is that he will not be able to make use of his liquid metal offensively or defensively after Evaporation is employed.
Preparation time: 1 post
Duration: Every post after this technique is used the opponent goes through a stage of his Hydrargyria poison technique, meaning this technique can last for a maximum of five posts, unless Ken releases it earlier than that.
Cooldown: Cannot be used more than one in a fight

Name: Conductor
Description: Using the elements of his opponents, he is able to use electrical or fire based techniques back on them. For example, if a lightning based move is used, he will be able to use his metal as a conductor and send it back. If a fire based move is used, he will be able to conduct the fire using his metal, this thus heating the metal up and increasing its offensive power.

Duration: 1 post with electrical techniques, as he sends the electricity back to the opponent in the same move. 3 posts with fire powered metal attacks, as he can now use this fire power with his regular metal techniques

In this form Ken's reiatsu, strength, endurance, and stamina increase significantly as well as the creation of the weapon on his arm. Though he can still control liquid metal in this form, that weapon is his primary one, allowing him to shoot projectiles large metal stakes, these stakes aiming to impale their target, shooting at rapid fire.

I would like a shorter duration, please.

Edited the Evaporation,Hydrargyria, and Absolution techniques but as for Schritt it is possible to Bounto to move at very high speeds, so much so that they seem to disappear. A great example would be when Kariya was able to keep up with Byakuya's flash steps and even out maneuver him. They don't have access to access to techniques such as those within the animes, but they have the speed to do so. So it may actually be better to just create a move for Bounto to use a variant to flash steps and sonido and etc.

That is the downside of being a Bount. They lack speed techniques and thus will have to train their legs and sucks living human souls in order to enhance speed. That's at least how I see it. You can add "Enhanced Speed" as information, if you want.

Does this depend on the reiryoku of the opponent? If he can redirect a lightning or fire attack that comes from someone above his powerlevel, I would consider it OP'd.

Yea, I was thinking that went without saying, but I should have specified. My bad lol. He can redirect fire and lightning attacks from opponents at his level and below, anyone stronger he might be able to defend better against those attacks, but he wouldn't be able to redirect the lightning or conduct the fire and use it to power his attacks.
