fun in the sun(Closed) Aroshi, Zan, Katie, Warren, Rukia

Oh what a beautiful day it is today. There was hardly any clouds in the sky, and the sun was shinning bright. The citizens of Karakura town were doing their own thing, weather it was shopping, working, or just plain having fun. Karakura Mall was the busiest section of the town because all the teenagers that went to Karakura High school had just gotten out. One of those students was a young, attractive boy named Shinrei shinji.

Shinji sat on a bench within the mall midning his own business. While he sat he had his right leg resting on his left knee, and his elbow resting on his right knee. Within his hand, shinji had a book at he was quietly reading. The bench was placed directly under a large tree that provided tons of shade. The crowd of people walked passed him minding there own, but a few girls giggle and stared towards Shinji, but Shinji didn't notice them. He was more interested in his book then anything else.

Though, he wouldn't mind if he was suddenly pulled away from his interesting book if somebody were to come along and divert his attention onto something more productive. Shinji didn't mind sitting in one place for long periods of time but he wasn't the type to do so considering his profession, or Hobby which he liked to call it. Being a quincy wasn't exactly something you bragged about to just anybody. Reason being was that not all humans could see what he hunts, let alone believe a far fetched story about a bunch of ugly monsters that like to eat the souls of unguided Souls.

Katie avoided malls like the plague. She hated the mall. It was crowded, and if she went there, there was usually a good chance that some stupid spirit or hollow would find her there, and that was the last thing that Katie wanted. But she needed food for her apartment, and she needed stuff for her gym, and the only place she could get them was the mall. It was stupid she knew, but she also felt like a bit of a freak in comparission to the other women that would walk through the mall. After all, she wasn't skinny. Hell she wasn't even all that pretty to her mind. She was a boxer. She didn't have time, or the need for those things.

Having gotten the things she needed, which were new ledger accounts, and various small office supplies, she was walking past the tree, not really paying attention to where she was going, when the edge of her foot caught some one elses, almost sending her sprawling to the ground. If she hadn't been a boxer, not only would she had dropped her packages, but she probably would have fallen. As it was, it was still close. Standing up straight, she looks at the kid who's foot she had tripped on. "Do you have to be sprawled out in the lane way? Really?" Okay, she was probably in the wrong, but regardless, she wasn't taking the blame for this one. It wouldn't surprise her if this kid didn't know who she was, but it also wouldn't surprise her if he did. After all, she was a female boxer. There weren't many of her kind around.

To his own slight surprise, Zanmato Jishaku found himself wandering around in the mall in Karakura Town. What could a Bount possibly need from the mall? Not much really, he just wanted to get out of the house...well, technically he lived in a nice sized mansion, but that was beside the point. Zan was feeling bored, and a quick trip to the mall had sounded like a fascinating idea in comparison to just staying inside and...doing nothing. Thus the white-haired figure found himself walking slowly around, looking at things and people, his spiritual pressure completely suppressed so that he did not draw unnecessary attention from unwanted sources.

While he was walking, a small group of what appeared to be thugs came up to him and their apparent leader bumped Zan on the shoulder as he walked past. The thug looked back and laughed and his goons did the same. When he turned his head back around however, the Bount was right in front of him again, his eyebrow raised with a look of annoyance. "That was rather rude you know. You should apologize when you bump into people like that, or did your mommy never teach you any better?"

The thugs looked incredulously at Zan, then at their 'leader,' who looked positively dumbfounded for a moment before regaining the look of arrogance that all members of his type of people seemed to innately be able to pull off in bad situations. He went to push the Bount out of the way, using both hands hoping to knock Zan to the ground, but Zan simply raised one hand and caught one arm after using a gentle sidestep to dodge the push. A small smile appeared on his face as he began to apply pressure to the arm, making the thug fall to his knees. By now a small crowd was beginning to form...and the thug was beginning to beg for mercy.

Silently reading his book, Shinji wasn't causing any harm to anybody. His leg was slightly stretched out with his opposite leg still resting on the knee that was slightly stretched out. His elbow continued to rest on the leg that was crossed on his opposite leg. A small smile was plastered on his face as he sat there reading his book. The crowd of people were still walking back and fourth to different shops. There was definitely various shops within the mall that anybody could choose from. Yet, Shinji was only there to enjoy himself, and make sure no hollows appeared in such a crowded place. It would be rather troublesome if nobody was around to protect the bystanders that were enjoying there daily lives.

Suddenly he felt something hit his foot, or better yet someone. His eyes moved away from the book to a pair of feet. "Hm...?" Soul let out a hum as his eyes traveled from the feet, up a pair of legs, to a torso, and then to a beautiful blonde haired women. "Do you have to be sprawled out in the lane way? Really?" the blonde headed female said. It was rather rude, but his foot was out in the way. Even though she could have completely avoided his foot if she was paying attention, but Shinji wasn't the type to start a conflict without reason.

"I am sorry!" He said his eyes closed and a gullible smile on his face. As he apologized, he puled his foot further in, but never uncrossed his legs or lifted his elbow. Once his leg was out of the way Shinji's head turned back to his book and his eyes slightly opened again as he started to read once again.

His head perked up when he started to hear some commotion, and a crowd started to gather in a circle. "Wonder whats going on?" Shinji said as he eye's opened all the way curious on what event was unfolding.. He never stood up though and simply sat the way he had been for about an hour now. Not only was he comfortable, but he wasn't about to get in somebody else business because that was something his late mother had taught him, never put your nose is others business.

*Why on Gods green earth, did Warren have to be at the mall.* the thoughts played over and over again like a broken record. A few days ago, Warren had the opportunity to meet with a descendent of his, he had been on patrol in Karakur town, when he ran into a rather intriguing girl that reminded him of someone he knew. He had stopped to talk to the girl and it was soon made apparent that this girl was a descendant of Sebastian, his son.

Never in a million years would Warren had thought that his bloodline survived. He told the girl who he was and was greeted with a rather enthusiastic and outright surprise of excitement. Now that Warren knew he had a living descendant, he wanted to do all he could to get to know the young girl. Never would Warren think he would be in such a place as a crowded mall, yet here he was, walking through vast crowds, carrying bags and packages that Sabrina had purchased.

“are you ok back there?” came the young girls voice, Sabrina was walking through the mall with her head held high, she couldn’t believe that she was in the presence of a King, and not just any king but, Warren, her ancestor. Though the thought was wired, Sabrina was rather happy. Warren had even offered to spend time with her when he had it. As she walked through the groups of people, she noticed people were staring off at so sort of event. Sabrina tried to stand on her tip toes but couldn’t see anything. Sabrina turned back to see if Warren could see what was going on but, she found him staring at something else.

It was true Warren was looking at something else, instead of turning his attention to the fight that was unfolding, Warren had eyeballed, a small quarrel right in front of them, that was unfolding at a bench. Warren then felt a tug on his sleeve, he looked down

“whatcha looking at?” she asked.

Warren motioned his head towards the two by the bench “them” he said.

This is why she hated malls. And kids. God this teenager was making her feel guilty. Stupid hormones. Giving a sigh, he hears the commotion and looks over giving an eye roll. The main guy's buddy's were jumping into the fight, and Katie, though she would prefer not to get involved, knew she would have to, because it was part of her nature to help out the under dog. "Some people just never learn..." She said as she left her packages near the boy, and wading her way into the middle of the fight, catching a couple of blows to the face before the other guy managed to handle himself. Giving a shake of her head, she gingerly touches her lip with the back of her hand, and came away with blood. She hated people some days. Not everyone needed to fight....

Heading back to the boy she had left her packages with, she sits down next to him, still trying to figure out where else she was bleeding. "Hey, look, I'm sorry for snapping at you like that. It was my fault I almost tripped." She could feel eyes on her, and it was a little bit strange, and she didn't care for it....Looking around her, she couldn't quite pinpoint where it was coming from, and that bothered her....a lot.

Zanmato flashed a pure white smile for a single instant, before releasing the mans' arm and telling him in a soft voice that he could stand up now, and that the torture was over. looked behind the man and gestured at the thinnest part of the crowd to move slightly to the left; just like puppets, his unspoken command was obeyed. Then, he placed his hand on the thug's chest and applied a slight pressure. Before anyone knew what had happened, the man had gone flying through the hole in the crowd, straight towards...

The look on the Bounts' face was probably comical. He had accidentally sent the little annoyance directly toward the general area of a boy who was simply minding his own business reading, and a woman who seemed to be speaking to him. He face-palmed as he heard a very audible crashing sound. Then he looked back up, hoping that he hadn't accidentally hurt anyone; other than the intended victim of course.

She looked briefly up from her "phone", and down at the people walking by. Some had stopped to look up at her, while others simply ignored it. Ichigo was probably already home now, but she had left a note saying she was on patrol, and would be back before midnight. Their reunion had been sort of happy, yet it had gone as good as you could expect when it came to who they were. She was currently wearing her gikon, being dressed in some jeans that were easy to move in, a blank tank top, a white short sleeved jacket and a pair of black sneakers. Her waist long black hair had been left untied, hanging down her back and shoulders softly. Her bangs was framing her sorta attractive face, which was currently displaying annoyance. There was problems with the communication again, you would think that by now, the research department would have fixed it. She noticed a rather casual looking man having gotten into a fight with what appeared to be some thuds. For a brief moment she thought it was Ichigo since he always got into fights, yet it wasen`t him. With a light sigh, she jumped down from the statue she had been sitting on, deciding that she would head towards a place to get some water or maybe juice. As she began to walk, she noticed the man that was fighting against the small group was winning. Rukia stopped as the crowd moved them selfs a bit a little in the direction she was standing. The man then pushed into the thug`s chest, sending him flying directly into her direction. She noticed a rather decent looking woman, and a decent looking young man, was in line to get hit.

Without hesitating, she lifted both of her arms, ran a few feet, and held out her arms. She grabbed the thrown man`s shirt, preventing him from hitting the reading boy and the woman. Being only 4.8, and having slightly skinny arms, it was quite surprising that she could stop the larger thug in that speed. "Try not to fight with those you cannot win against, you`ll just drag in innocent bystanders". Stepping back one step, she let the thug fall to his knees. Not minding the crowd of people that had watched the fight, and was now looking at her, she looked over her shoulder towards the boy and the woman. "Your okay?", she asked them both, her violet eyes remaining neutral yet soft. She haden`t really been worried for them, the only one who would have gotten really hurt was the thug if she haden`t stopped him.

Shinji continued to stare off at the crowd of people listening to what sounded like a mans voice letting out gasps of pain. 'hm...' Suddenly the female that almost tripped over his foot placed her bags next to him and started to walk towards the crowd and slipped through it disappearing for a second. Shinji's eyebrow rose slightly towards the crowd and then he looked at the bags next to him. His eyes looked back at the crowd were he was hearing loud thuds of fists being thrown.

Shinji's expression was comedy as he stared off at the crowd. His thumb was holding the page he was on in place so he didn't loose his spot. Suddenly the cute blonde female came back from in between the crowd with her hand up to her mouth as if she had been punched. An expression of slight anger came over Shinji's face as he looked at her. Oh how he hated it when men touched females like they were equally as physically strong. The girl being a boxer was completely unknown to Shinji, so his blood was boiling in his veins. Though, a thought suddenly came to him.The blonde had intentionally walked into the commotion that was happening.

Not only did she put herelf in that position, but she seemed to take getting punched in the mouth pretty well. 'interesting...' Shinji thought as he watched the blonde sit down. His head slightly turned towards her as she rubbed her face to make sure that she wasn't bleeding anywhere else. A kind hearted smile appeared on his face, and he pulled a little napkin that he kept for certain cases such as this. His hand flipped his book over and he reached over as the girl began to speak. Gently placing his hand on her chin he slowly started to dab the napkin on her lip soaking the blood that was seeping out. "It's okey... it was my fault as well... My leg was in the way" he said kindly never opening his eyes. "Names Shinji by the way" he said as he firmly applied pressure to her nose and tilting her head back. "Please hold this there!" He add. His warm smile never leaving his face.

Suddenly, as he was retreating his hands away from the blonde girl the crowd split and Shinji's eye's slightly opened narrowly to see the back of a man that was gripping his own forearm. Then suddenly, like he was hit by a truck the man came flying back towards Shinji and the female that was sitting next to him. Shinji was about to react but before he could a very small and petite girl quickly got in front of him and caught the man. "Huh?" Shinji let out a small grunt of surprise to see such a small girl catch such a large guy. 'That girl is definitely no normal human being, and nor is who ever sent that guy flying in this direction... who are they?' Soul thought as his eye's reclosed and the same warm smile stayed on his face.

The small dark hair girl turned her head towards the two that were sitting on the bench, and asked if they were okey. Shinji simply nodded with his usual friendly smile. his hands picked up his book and quietly he started to read again. It definitely seemed like Shinji was slightly anti-social, but he was far from it. He just didn't feel the need to speak on others business.

Leave it to Warren, though he had been interested in the boy and girl sitting at the bench, he couldn’t look away forever, and his attention quickly shifted to the crowed, which seemed to be separating a bit. Warren arched a brow, wondering why the crowd was doing so, he then saw a thug get sent flying through the air. Warren’s first instinct was to flash step in front of the thug to prevent his eventual collision with the boy and girl but, he was beaten to the punch…..by a little girl?

That was Warren’s first thought, but he soon realized a small amount of spiritual pressure emanating from the small black haired girl. Now that Warren thought about it, he know remembered why he was intrigued with the couple in front of him and Sabrina, they were emanating a bit of spiritual pressure as well. Warren was snapped out of his thoughts, by the enthusiastic gasp and rapid clapping of Sabrina.

“WOW, that was sooooooo amazing.” she said. It hadn’t dawned on Sabrina yet, that the small black haired girl was also the same shinigami she had run into a few nights ago. Sabrina’s eyes soon locked with the girl’s purple eyes and she once again let out a gasp. “oh my god, it’s you.” Sabrina rushed past Warren and past the bench over to Rukia and bowed “It’s nice to see you again.” she wasn’t sure if the girl recognized her or not.

As Sabrina ran passed Warren he let out an audible sigh. He then looked down at the boy and girl and realized the girl had gotten hit *when did that happen?* he thought. Warren couldn’t help himself, he was trying to avoid all contact with anyone and yet his caring nature got the better of him. Warren bent down slightly and looked at the blonde girl “are you all right?” he asked.

Some people were actually nice, and she certainly hadn't expected that niceness from a teenage boy who wore the Karakura High uniform. She knew about that school, and the many of them were thugs, or had been at one time or another. It made her wonder just how old this kid was. No. Down girl, even though you haven't seen Kensei in a very long time is no reason to be going off and trying to flirt with a highschool boy. You're practically robbing the cradle doing that!! She thought to herself as her face took on a look of surprise as the kid told her his name and proceeded to clean her lip and nose. Was this boy, Shinji, for real? Now only if he was older.....Katie stop it!!! She returned his smile and spoke. “Name's Katie. Nice to meet you Shinji.” She said, a little muffled by the napkin held at her nose.

Katie's ears picked up the sounds of a fight winding down and looked over to see a guy come flying at the pair of them. Today was not her lucky day it would seem. Her mind was frantically trying to think of way to stop this guy without hurting herself or the kid was with, when this petite girl, a girl that she could practically blow over with only a large breath grabbed a hold of the guy and stopped him. There was something up about her, and Katie wasn't sure if she wanted to know about it. And all of a sudden there was a girl running over and bowing to the black haired girl who had stopped her, and a rather large man was crouching in front of her her asking her the exact same question that the black haired girl had. Katie's back was going up by being surrounded so effectively. “Do I look alright? I got punched in the god damn face!!! I'm bleeding, and you have the balls to ask, are you alright? I get that your being nice, but Damn it........” Katie took a breath, and took the napkin away from her nose. “Look, I'm sorry about that outburst. It was out of line. But it's not everyday that I wind up helping someone out in a fight that then sends the guy he was fighting flying straight at me, and then I get rescued by a petite girl that I could blow over with a breath.” Katie said, leaning forward, and wiping at her nose with the napkin.

Something about this man seemed familiar, but she wasn't exactly sure what it was, because she had never seen him before in her life as far as she knew. But there was something the felt familiar....almost like she had felt it before.....She'd think of it, eventually.

Zanmato was relieved to see that a shinigami had arrived to catch the thug in mid air, and exhaled silently. It appeared that he had forgotten his own strength for a moment, a mistake that his master would surely have given him a lengthy lecture about in private if he had seen it. How did Zan know that it was a Shinigami? Well, he had seen this particular shinigami before, many times in fact with Ichigo in the past, and he even knew her name: Rukia Kuchiki. What she was doing here in this human mall was unknown, but if she was here, then either hollows had been present, were about to be present, or perhaps the issue involved no hollows at all and she was simply...having time off? After some brief seconds, the Bount gave up trying to reason out why the shinigami was here and simply shrugged, grateful that his spiritual pressure was being kept at absolute zero and not even a sliver was being allowed to escape. There was no need to start a confrontation and perhaps today could just be a normal day where Zan could pretend to be human? Ah well, only time and fate would probably be able to tell that one, and neither really meant much to him anymore.

With the eyes of the crowd on him, Zan began to calmly walk toward the now growing group of people, and with a smile on his face told the thug to scram, which he did with great haste. He then looked toward the group with a very carefree smile on his face, as though they had all arranged for this to happen and were discussing the results of a well rehearsed play.

"Ah, I apologize for that. I seem to have forgotten my own strength again! My my, but this seems to be happening to me quite a bit these days! Ah well, at any rate, my name is Zanmato Jishaku. Might I ask what your names are?"

While he was speaking, the Bount was turning his head to each person in turn, ensuring that they all knew that he was speaking to all of them. At any rate it felt appropriate to include all of them in the inquiry and would have actually been very rude not to speak to all of them and introduce himself after throwing a body at two of them.
