Hair Color/Style: Maxwell’s hair is what many would describe as messy, it is about medium length, reaching down to the bottom of his jaw. Maxwell’s hair is a golden brown color.
Complexion: Maxwell has a very slight tan, he seems a bit pale, but actually has some color to him.
Any distinguishing features: none.
Overall Appearance: Maxwell is about five feet, eleven inches tall, he is lean and has an athletic build to him, he seems somewhat scrawny, but he has slightly toned muscles. The young detectives hair is often referred to as bed head, or messy for lack of better words, it is a golden brown color and reaches just barely past Maxwell’s jaw. Maxwell’s eyes are also an enticing emerald green color.

As far as uniform goes, Maxwell refuses to wear the standard shinigami’s robes, instead, he had his top tailored to have narrow sleeves, making much like a button up shirt only without the buttons. Maxwell’s pants have also been tailored to have narrow legs, making them appear as a normal pair of pants, and he wears a pair of black shoes. Since he has two zanpakutous, that are small and compact, he carries them in a shoulder harness, that he made himself. He accompanies his attire with a tie, a white vest, and a top hat. (he basically dresses how he looks in the picture below.)

~Personality~

Personality: Talented, but lazy. Those are the two words that come to mind when describing Maxwell’s personality. In most aspects, Maxwell is dedicated and serious about his work, though he never really shows it. Instead he often displays a lack of enthusiasm for most things but, that is just who he is. Maxwell’s lazy attitude and mind set, is really just a facade, he has great potential, but he refuses to but any effort into anything and even goofs around. Even with a lack of true effort or enthusiasm, it cant be argued, that this young man gets results and finds a way to excel at many things despite his lack of effort. Maxwell is very laid back, and relaxed.

Quirks: aside from being lazy and kick back, Maxwell is constantly tacking care of his weapon, mostly keeping it in pristine condition.

History: On a cold and rainy night, in the upstairs apartment above a shop, a mirical was taking place. Adele Winchester, wife of world renowned detective Alexander Winchester, was giving birth to their twin boys, Maxwell and Kyle. Halfway through the birth, Adele began to suffer complications, and the doctors feared they would lose Adele. Miraculously the birth was a success and Adele survived, this event was one of Alexander’s greatest moments of his life. As the two boys grew up, Alexander groomed them to take over the family business, he hoped that the two boys would grow up to be the greatest detectives ever.

Time went on and it seemed that Alexander’s wish would come true, both Kyle and Maxwell, were well schooled and always posted the highest scores. Around Maxwell’s tenth birthday, he began to notice something strange, he could see and speak with spirits, he wasn’t sure at first if he was hallucinating, or if what he was seeing was real. Afraid of how his father would react, Maxwell kept his secret. Once the two brother had matured to the age of 16, Alexander saw it fit to bring them into the detective business. Both boys were given high end contracts, but it seemed that Kyle was the only one interested in solving any cases. Maxwell on the other hand, always seemed to be occupied with designing and building his own firearms, which once they were made, he maintained religiously. To both Kyle, and Alexander’s surprise, Maxwell found a way to always finish up his cases with little effort, rather than question it, or push his son to work harder, Alexander over looked this and figured so long as the work was done, he was happy.

On the day of Maxwell’s and Kyle’s birthday, they were both given a case to investigate together. It seemed that many of the towns people were disappearing. When the two were given the case, Maxwell refused to do any work, and told his brother to take care of it, that was the case until, their father went missing. With their father gone, Maxwell, reluctantly gave in and took the case head on and focused all his attention on it. He even used his gift of seeing the dead to his advantage. When the spirits told Maxwell, that a monster was on the loose, he was a bit skeptical, until he laid eyes upon the beast first hand. The sight of the beast brought fear to Maxwell’s heart, he felt a pressure emanating from the beast, that was pushing down on him, for some reason he brother could not see the beast and actually collapsed.

Maxwell but his fear aside and tried to shot at the beast, but it was no use, nothing happened. Maxwell took hold of his brother and began to run away, but the monster had other plans and eventually cornered Maxwell in an alley. There were no more options, Maxwell had no idea what to do and as he looked the hollow in the eyes, he felt a stabbing pain in his chest, he looked down, to see the hollows hand buried deep in his chest. The young boy was thrown aside and watched on, as the hollow ate his brother Kyle, and then set it’s sight on him. As Maxwell began to black out from the loss of blood, the last thing he saw was a streak of gold pierce the creatures face and watched it die, then as his eyes were closing, he caught a glimpse of the whit haori of a captain, unaware of who had just saved him.

A few moments later, Maxwell felt rejuvenated and opened his eyes only to find himself standing over his body. He took his death rather well and knew exactly what had happened to him, what he wasn’t ready for, was what his hero told him. The captain explained a few things to Maxwell and sent him on his to Soul Society. Maxwell was so impressed and astonished by what he had seen from the captain and vowed to become a shinigami. The teachers at the shinigami academy took note of Maxwell and his potential to be a great shinigami, what they were not prepared for was his utter lack of enthusiasm for the academy. They were dumbfounded by his excellent test scores and skills in class, it was hard to believe that he was so talented but so lazy at the same time. This discovery prevented Maxwell from graduating at the top of his class, despite his skill’s. Upon Maxwell’s graduation, he was placed in squad eight, as the third seat, to fill the void, caused by the mysterious disappearances.

~Zanpakuto Information~

Blade Name:

Sealed Blade appearance: Both of Maxwell’s zanpakutous are odd indeed, and it suits him, since he himself is odd. The swords are actually a lot shorter than other zanpakutous. The blades are only about a foot and a half long. The handle of the swords, closely resembles the grip of a pistol, and even has a loop at the end of the guard.
Zanpaktou spirit: Hammer, is a crazy, and goofy spirit, she has green hair, and is often seen wearing a black hoody, that has a skull on it, a gray skirt, gray stockings, and black boots. Hammer also has two angel wings, one is very small and the other is normal sized.

Barrel’s personality is odd, she is often hitting on Maxwell and acts inappropriately on most occasions. Her appearance also changes, as far as clothing goes. Barrel has long blond hair that reached down past her waist, and has many jagged layers. Barrel is most often wearing a red dress with red high heals. She also has a pair of angel wings.

Inner world Maxwell’s inner world, is a snow filled field, where snow constantly falls. In the background, looming over the field, is a tall brick building.

~Shikai Information~

Release Phrase: sound off.
Released blade appearance: when Hammer enters shikai, it takes the shape of a black and gold revolver.
When Barrel enters shikai it takes the shape of a standard handgun. Both Zanpakutou’s can be used separately.

~Shikai Techniques/Abilities~ (seated officers can have 1-2 shikai abilities depending on the strength of those abilities, Lieutenants can have 2 of considerable strength, and Captains can have 3 powerful ones. )

Description: Hammer and Barrel can fire bullets made of spiritual energy. Maxwell can fire one shot from each gun per post. these bullets lack any piercing power, but do pack a concussive blast, rivaling the strength of a high power punch.(not a super strength punch, but a very heavy punch)

Name of abilty/technique: Full Auto and single shot.
Description: Hammer and Barrel both have the ability to fire multiple shots at once, up to a barrage of 9 bullets can be fired from each gun, totaling out at a hail of 18 bullets. these bullets pack the power of a high power punch.
She shots are fired in rapid succession, and almost seem like a short machine gun burst.
Duration: 1 post.
Cool Down: 3 posts.
Preparation: none.

Name of abilty/technique: Reload.
Description: Since Hammer and Barrel fire bullets made of reiatsu, Maxwell has made up a technique, with the help of Hammer and Barrel, which allows him to instantly reload the two guns by channeling his spiritual energy into the guns. This ability allows Maxwell to ignore the cool down of full auto.

hi ^^ a few things

1. you say that he is the 5th seat 6th division then in your histroy you say he was put in the 8th division as 3rd seat? which is it?

2. If he is in the 6th division i feel he should have something i his personality relating to the division. Such as a strong sense of justice and believes in abiding by rules etc

How strong are these bullets?
Also the cooldown needs to be about 3-4 depending strength (maybe even more if strength is high)

So your saying that this would allow him to bypass the cooldown on reload? if that was the case the cooldown on this ability would need to be high. Otherwise you could use an ability that needs a medium to long cooldown every 2 posts as you reload. :p i saw the loophole there.

So basically after you raise the cooldown on the auto ability the cooldown on this one needs to be larger than that and quite substantially. If you dont understand why grab me in the cbox and i will try to explain.

If he is indeed 5th seat of 6th division then this is too high, he could have pressure of an advanced 4th seat. If he is 3rd seat of 8th division then he could rival that of an intermediate vice captain at the very most.
