"I'm not to sure about this..."

Valentines day had never been something that Chase celebrated growing up, but he had to admit that it was much different in Japan then it was in America. Apparently, the females were the ones who were supposed to give the males gifts, not the other way around. Needless to say, it came to a shock when he opened his locker that morning, chocolates and valentines poured out of it. He had only been at the school for a few days, and already had some admirers. Japanese girls were definitely more shy then the ones back home.

He hadn't really met any people since arriving, so decided to sign up for a blind date thing he saw in the newspaper. Not an ideal way to meet new people, but it was a start. After signing up, he received details on where he and his date would meet. They would introduce themselves then continue on with the date. Chase had a few things planned, his adoptive parents back in america gave him some extra spending money when he had told them about the date, so he was able to pull a few strings last minute and plan at least what he considered to be a romantic date.

Usually he wouldn't be the one for romantics or anything of the sort, but he had been kind of bored since arriving, and kind of channeled all his pent up energy on planning this date. He didn't know why, it was pretty fucking weird when he thought back, but it was done, and now he was standing at their meeting place, wearing his nicest dress pants and dress shirt, holding a single red rose, waiting for his blind date to show up. .

Mina didn't really have a lot of time for something like this...but it was nice to get out and around sometimes. So she dressed in a red dress, and gathered her necklace that would surpress her reaitsu completely.

She headed to the real world with the rest of the Captains and shinigami that their Captain commander had through into this blind date, and looked at the paper that had where to meet her date. Mina's face held a smile, as she headed that way. Seeing a young gentleman standing where she was to meet up with her date, she hopes that it was him. After all, he did seem to be quite....nicely dressed, like he was trying to impress his date.

Giving the boy's shoulder a small tap, she gives a small curtsey, and folds her hands in front of her. "Hello. I'm Mina Akiyama, you wouldn't happen to be my date for the evening would you?"

"I'm not to sure about this..."

Chase felt a tap on his shoulder, he turned around to find a beautiful woman in a red silk dress. Wow, did he ever get lucky. He was expecting some shy high school girl at best, not some drop dead gorgeous woman. With a small smile, he offered her the rose with a small bow. "Hello Mina. Yes, I'm your date. My name is Chase. Chase Sato." He hoped that he wasn't speaking too formally, not being from Japan, he had a hard time mastering the finer parts of the Japanese language.

Offering her his arm, he motioned towards a car that was parked at the side of the street. "So our car here will be taking us to our first destination."

Mina felt like a school girl right now. She gave him a smile and a nod. "Hello Chase, it's nice to meet you." She said, as she took the rose from him and smelt it softly. Hopefully her roses back at her division would smell as lovely as this one did right now. Taking his arm, she walks with him to the car, and slides in. "And our first destination would be what Chase? May I call you Chase?" She asked softly, with a slight tilt to her head.

Opening the car door for her, he waited for her to get in then slid in next to her, closing the door behind them. Nodding to the driver, they pulled away from the curb, onto their destination. "The local aquarium is doing this special dinner tonight... dining with the fish or something like that. I got us a table..." He hoped that she didn't find it too corny or anything. Honestly he would be happy with just hanging out and walking around, but didn't want this date to be lame.
