~Self~

Personality: She is fierce, loyal, perceptive and persistent. She protects her friends and is wary against unknown factors. Rina is also a good fighter, she does not give in unless she knows that she has no chance of survival, in those cases she makes some kind of diversion and tries to escape.
She is highly intelligent and she plans ahead of time, she is highly skilled in Kidou and have made attempts of creating her own spells, not always successful.
Rina is something of a loner, even though she loves to be in the company of good friends, she is also acutely aware of the possibilities of backstabbed.

History:
Rina was born into a rather wealthy samurai clan, she was the third daughter and she was a well-educated young woman. However, she was married to a son of a higher clan when she was fourteen; this was a political and wartime marriage leaving Rina isolated from anything she was familiar with. She became pregnant with child only months after the wedding, allowing her husband to seek solace elsewhere. The young samurai girl wasn’t disheartened by this, even if her mother-in-law at first ridiculed her. Her pregnancy was a hard one and her weakened body did not survive childbirth.
Rina didn’t understand at first that she had died and nearly turned into a hollow from the grief of her lost child before a shinigami found her and performed her soul burial.
The young woman awoke in western Rukongai 39 where she wandered around for some time, disoriented and still grieving for the life and child she lost.
She cared less about how she looked and acted, leaving her in a disheveled and vulnerable state, she stole food and water when she could never realizing that others never felt the same hunger as her. The first act of kindness towards her was a shinigami giving her something to eat after she passed out whilst he walked by her.
As the decade went by, she slowly rebuilt her confidence and strength, and a wish to protect the child she never found.
A small white striped cat started to follow her at some time, and Rina was in the beginning annoyed with the relentless critter who never showed anything akin to fear. She then accepted the cat as part of her and realized that it was her Zanpakotou Byakko corporal form.
Rina joined the academy and positioned in the advanced class, she proved to be an adept and swift learner off all trades, but she excelled her classmates within the arts of Kidou.
Rina graduated second in her class and was drafted into the fifth division were she only stayed for little over a year before entering the tenth as fuku-taichou, she succeeded her Taichou after his death.


~Zanpakuto Information~

Name: Byakko (White Tiger, ruler of the Western Heavens)
Sealed Blade appearance: A white nodachi with golden inlays, carried slung over the back of Rina, the white sheath dissolve when she pulls it. The tsuba is formed as her clans Mon.

~Shikai Information~

Release Phrase: Sosoritatsu, Byakko. (To soar steeply, White Tiger)
Released blade appearance: Byakko takes the form of a Yumi, a Japanese Bow, the bow is in metal and therefore very sturdy and can be used to block a enemies sword. Despite length and material, it is still easy for Rina to draw. Rina is highly gifted within the arts of kyuodou.

~Shikai Techniques/Abilities~(seated officers can have 1-2 shikai abilities depending on the strength of those abilities, Lieutenants can have 2 of considerable strength, and Captains can have 3 powerful ones. )

Name of abilty/technique: Kuramasu amanohara, Byakko. (conseal the heavens, Byakko)
Description: An attack that efficiently removes all light, leaving all the battlefield but Rina in a state of confusion and darkness, this is an attack used more for escape. This can also be used for a smash and grab situation. This is fired as an arrow pointed to the ground.

Name of abilty/technique: Bakuhatsuryoku (Explosive power)
Description: Grenade Weapon. It is filled with a highly explosive matter and long thin barbs that might not be strong enough to penetrate a very strong Hierro, unless stepped upon.

Name of abilty/technique: Yobaiboshi Ya (Shooting Star Arrow)
Description: This is a attack made of light, it is near unstoppable and as light it can penetrate anything (cannot be used as a 1hk). It leaves the wounded opponent with a bleeding burn.

Name: Shiroishokokyosei Hakkou Byakko (giant White star, All Directions White Tiger
Bankai Appearance/spirit manifestation: Hakkou Byakko manifest as a giant white tiger, she has light, gravity and heat as her form of weapon. As Byakko’s bankai form is released a strong light and sound wave is emitted, not unlike a miniature supernova. Hakkou Byakko is a fierce fighter and her superheated claws and teeth are hard enough to crack through even the strongest of Hierro’s (canon Nnoitra) She is controlled by Rina’s movements but bites and slash without command.

Name: Aburidasu (bring to light)
Description: This is a technique that allows Rina to see possible weak point of an opponent, it simply allow her to see through their movements

Name: Semehorobosu (utter destruction)
Description: The ultimate attack of Byakko, this is a suicide attack in form of a supernova.

Preparation: 3 post as Rina must build up her reiatsu to be able to use this attack. (Face it... This is not likely to be used... ever..)

~Other Techniques~
Swordsmanship: She was called Mistress of the blade when she was in the Academy, her gifts with the blade have not rusted.
Shunpo: Rina is thrilled with speed, she is no Goddess of Flash, but she is quicker than most.
Hand to hand: Very talented, she was severely reprimanded as a child for beating her much older and at the time more trained brother.
Kido: Rina excels in Kidou, she loves the study of the subject.

She was walking without destination, her hair unkempt and her entire being screamed neglect and tiredness. She hated everything that she was and hated the world at random, the people of the city knew of her, some pitied her, some ignored her and some taunted her. It was one of those days when people taunted her; boys not much older than herself, if she was a girl, that is, came forth and hurled a rock at her. She curled up on herself, a animalistic moan escaped her lips as a second stone impacted with her head, she touched the site of impact with a shivering hand, seeing the blood escape. A scream exited her lungs, making the boys scurry away as scared rats. A man clad in black hakama and kimono neared her, no not entirely black, he had a white haori, squatting down next to her, she looked up in his face, a small kind smile played on the pale haired mans lips.
“Life dealt you a hard road indeed,” he said as he pulled a pristine white clothe from his sleeve, carefully folding it and pressing it against the wound. “You should be more careful or you will become the animal you resemble so much. Come with me and see the Academy, you will pass the tests, it’s your choice?”
“Choice?” the woman said, her voice crackly with unused. She had a choice.
