A new day! (Open)

Asami was out today, exploring the town she really hadn't come to know until very recently. It was a shame having to leave all her old friends but she was sure she would keep in touch with them. Today's goal was hopefully to find some new friends, which was going to be a little hard unless someone approached her, or she found someone who looked approachable, whatever came first really. She was wearing her roller-blades, just normally of course, she didn't want to go tearing through the street, if she went that fast how would she find someone to talk to? Instead, she slowly made her way along, through a park waiting for someone to appear, it was only a matter of time really.. She looked behind her, it was all clear, but she forgot she was still moving forward, maybe not the best idea considering she was on the wrong side of the path, it would be just her luck to run right into someone. Or over something... either way it wasn't going to be the nicest experience.. (Lack of muse XP)

Returning from a soccer match Ichigo was sweating a bit, he had started to take soccer matches every sunday and sometimes after school which meant that he was a pretty busy man concidering his school and occasional working days, the soccer match had ended withouth him having let a single football into the goal, which had been his very goal from the start this made Ichigo rather satistified of his work, to be able to keep his goal in reach, nothing impossible either.

If Ichigo had not known better he would have been watching where he was going, off course he saw people around him but did not pay full attention since he was kinda tired after the match, and the day could possibly not have been prettier as not a single cloud was seen on the sky, the sun beaming down on him added the warm feeling Ichigo was just about to pick up a bottle of water from his pocket when he knocked into someone, due to his sturdy muscular body Ichigo did not feel much about it, but evident as it was the girl before him must have felt it, she seemed to be wearing roller blades which annoyed Ichigo a bit. watch out where your going... he said rather annoyed looking at the girl but he could not help but feel guilt are you all right there? he added just to make sure she was all right he awaited her answe with a raised eye brown.

A slight breeze sweeped trough the area and made Ichigo`s hair dance a bit, he picked up the bottle that he had dropped and took a sip of water just to ease his thirst he also offered to help the girl stand up again since she had fallen down due to her roller blades. He was wearing the goal keeper uniform still...

Well the day had started out alright....if you could call waking up to a stiff neck and back from sleeping on a park bench a nice way to start a day. Not to mention that her attempts to steal food were not working out as she had hoped, alright so maybe the day wasn't going as well as she thought but it would get better right? I mean after you've had rocks thrown at you by a group of kids, almost drown trying to steal a bun from a bakery....yes you read right, not much else could go wrong right? I hear you asking how on earth these things happened to poor Kasumi? Well it's rather simple, when you are a bird and a group of snotty little punks doesn't like the colours of your feathers they throw rocks at you...yeah not exactly a kind world we live in is it? But the bakery well thats more complicated. You see when you are a chameleon that can't be seen you can sneak into the bakery all well and good, but when the stupid dishwasher picks up the plate you are on and puts it in the sink full of hot water well lets just say its not fun at all.

Here she was running from yet another failed attempt at stealing some food, she had thought that getting food from the lady on the picnic rug in the form of a cute and fluffy miniature pomeranian would be easy.....she hadn't counted on the lady having 3 massive and jealous dogs of her own. So here she was fleeing from 3 dogs that threatened to eat her for lunch if they caught up to her, cursing the little legs she had at the moment she growled to herself as people just laughed at the sight of a small little fluff ball running that fast its legs weren't visible and it seemed to be gliding. She wasn't getting any help from them and the dogs were catching up fast, not able to transform back to a human with so many people around she was running for her life. Seeing what might be her only chance up ahead Kasumi moved those little legs faster then she ever thought they could go, her tiny paws hitting the pavement as she ran for safety with two teens. It seemed that one had been knocked over, it was perfect really. Kasumi would never make the jump up to the male's height, so setting her sights on the girls lap Kasumi leapt through the air.

This was it, this was the moment that would decide if she lived or died....

Asami's world suddenly seemed a lot more blue, she could swear this was almost a concussion but really that might be saying a little more than it actually was. She was laying on her back, staring up into space as she felt she had run into something rather sturdy, daring to look up after a moment to see an orange-haired boy, probably around her age, if not slightly younger. Blushing furiously she sat up, leaning back on her hands to keep herself stable. ”I'm really sorry about that. I wasn't paying attention” She shook her head, brushing her now messed up hair out of her face as Ichigo offered a hand to help her up, of course she went to take it but then a little dog flew out of nowhere into her lap. Her first reaction was ”Aww... it's so cute” but she then saw the three dogs behind it, she took the boy's hand and there was a small humming sound as the roller-blades reversed, helping her up quickly to keep the little white fluff ball out of harms way while she cradled it in her arms. She didn't seem to think that automated roller-blades may seem a little strange...

She looked around a little and patted the small canine. ”Thanks! Uhh... I'm Asami. she offered out a hand to shake, balancing on the roller-blades exceptionally well, though if someone looked closely they would see small red lines on the wheels, meaning they were braking to keep still. Feeling that this whole situation was only going to get more awkward as time went on if she wasn't careful... at least she had gotten her wish and managed to meet someone, she just could of hoped not to run into them like that..

OOC: xD is she living on the streets or what when she has to steal food?

IC: Ichigo accepted the apology and was about to pull the girl up when he noticed a small puppy like dog jump on the girls lap, Ichigo looked slightly suprised he wanted to tell the girl something about holding onto your pets and not letting them run free it could be dangerous especially with all the hollows roaming about... (even though he could no longer see them) but he was cut short by a group of dogs heading there way where they chasing after this one? seemed so, Ichigo thought about what he was getting involved with here, well its just everyday stuff right its not like a talking cat came up to me just now and asked me to follow it or anything...

Thank god that these are NORMAL people and uh creatures whatnot, cats dogs whatever ichigo had never been particulary intrested in animals as they had never had a pet at home, and his dad claimed to be allergic to fluffy pets... Ichigo blinked at the dogs that did not seem to stop just because the little puppy thing caught up with them, Ichigo sweatdropped slightly he would get into trouble again right crap... w-what are you doing, stop spacing out at a time like this Ichigo grabbed Asami`s wrist when he had turned heels away and started running like hell, he put his water bottle back into his bag and picked up speed as he started to run faster, he was not going to fight against a bunch of dogs it was not his style. Ichigo saw that these dogs belonged to someone and therefore they must be called back sooner or later, hopefully sooner.

As they had gotten away from the dogs Ichigo was panting leaning against his knees with his palms as he straightened his back to look at the girl and her dog or so he assumed, Ichigo looked a bit irritated at the girl what the hell was that about, letting your dog run loose like that can be dangerous you know? you could have gotten us both into troublehe sighed as he assumed it was her dog... Ichigo took his bottle of water from his bag again and sprayed some water of his face and hair to chill out a bit, he had started to sweat more now after all that running seriously, he pulled his shirt away from his chest as it had gotten stuck and it smelled kinda bad Im Ichigo... nice to meet you Asami... he glanced briefly at her dog, he wondered what she was named? he supposed he could ask the girl but awaited her answer patiently.

Perhaps Kasumi should have stopped taunting the larger dogs as she sat safely in the arms of the girl that had picked her up, but after having just escaped from them she felt pretty gosh darn cocky not to mention proud of herself. As she noticed the dogs weren’t stopping and she could see the look in their eyes as they imagined ripping the small fluff ball into pieces her taunts stopped and her eyes widened. Clinging to the shirt of the girl for her life Kasumi found herself being carried along as the two teens ran from the dogs, heck she was pretty about the situation really….well besides the fact she had gotten the two teens chased by the dogs in the first place, but at least she didn’t have to run from them right? Hearing a dog whistle sound out (the type that only dogs can hear) through the air Kasumi crawled up so she could peek over the shoulder of the girl carrying her, watching as the dogs reluctantly stopped giving chase and turned slinking back to a rather angry looking woman she felt a wave of relief wash over her.

Turning around in the girls arms Kasumi turned to face the same direction as the girl was she saw the exhausted male teen leaning and panting from the rapid escape that he had just made. As he got angry at the girl for leaving her dog free to run away in the streets Kasumi looked around for another dog but upon not seeing or smelling any she realised that he must have been talking about her. Oh if he knew the truth she thought to herself as she leapt from the girl’s arms and onto the ground, sniffing the air to see if there were any other humans around the area other than the two with her she caught a strong whiff of perspiration. Dropping her ears as she froze and turned her head to face the male teen she started to feel bad, he was exhausted and she thought it was all because of that running from the dogs…she didn’t know about the soccer game he had played earlier. She couldn’t sense any of other humans in the area and spotting a brick fence but a few metres from them she started to walk off towards it, with her fluffy tail moving with every step she took she looked rather cute and regal as she held her head high.

Disappearing behind the brick fence for a few moments Kasumi changed back into her human form once more, luckily for her when she transformed back into her human form her clothes also returned. Standing up and dusting off her knees she looked to her hand and winced as she pulled a thorn from it, ‘stupid things.. why do I always tread on them’. She was wearing a pair of denim shorts with a black halter neck shirt, her shoes were flats with strings that wrapped around her calves to hold them in place, her hair was tied up (as in signature) and she wore a simple black necklace that sat slightly looser than a choker. Popping her head out from behind the brick wall Kasumi saw that both the teen’s were still there, she debated whether or not to walk out and say hi or to sneak off. She could use some friends….

Gently patting the small puff ball in her arms as he did so, only for him to suddenly grab her wrists and sprint off from where the had been, almost losing her balance thanks to the breaks, she followed along almost effortlessly thanks to her invention. She didn't realize that those dogs had actually followed them just to get to the cute little dog that had decided to take refuge with them, only for them to be called off at the very last moment as Ichigo continued along for a few moments to finally stop and catch his breath. Asami obviously had no such problem as she came to a halt. "Are you ok?" was the first question on she woul ask, only to be accused of being irresponsible with her dog... But it wasn't her dog?

"But it isn't my dog!" she tried to claim, though it was odd it has gone straight for her, only to suddenly ditch her when it felt it no longer needed her. She was slightly shocked but either that would prove her point or make her look more irresponsible. She sighed as it ran away behind a brick wall. "It's nice to meet you too Ichigo-kun" she said with a short bow as she looked over to the wall. "I'd better find that little dog before it gets in trouble again" she said, swiftly moving along with her skates, quickly closing the distance between them stopping at the wall to peak over, only to meet the gaze of a girl on the other side.

It confused her, why someone would watch then like that, but figured it was simply coincidence. "You didn't happen to see a cute little dog walk past here did you?" she asked curiously, it was odd that such a small dog get so far away with such little legs, she assumed ichigo would just follow after he had caught his breath. If not she waved him over.

Off course im not okay! i just ran half a mile dragging a girl and her puppy trough half the town!, huh? what do you mean she aint your dog?, it obviously likes... Ichigo eyes widened slightly when Asami meantioned that it was not her dog, Ichigo noticed the dog getting off her lap and running off out of sight, as Ichigo had stopped talking in mid sentence he wondered what just happened normally dogs just did not pop out of nowhere just to leave a moment later normally there was a reason for this, off course the dog had been fleeing the bigger dogs but for this? not even a thanks... Ichigo knew it was a dog all the more reason for him to suspect weather the puppy really was a puppy at all.

For all he knew it could be some super weird shinigami with the innate ability to transform just like a certain neko in the neiborhood, it was not entireley impossible, perhaps he was over reacting a bit, maybe just maybe the puppy did not grow wings and fly away. Ichigo sighed whatever it was its gone now. Ichigo picked up his bag now and did not even bother to look for the dog, he yawned then glanced at the female. yeah... you too Asami he waved at her as he was ready to continue his trip home Ichigo stopped when she meantioned the dog again. Leave it be, its probably not around anymore... besides im sure it has an owner... Ichigo stopped when he heard the girl talk with someone, was she talking with the dog? Ichigo sighed he blinked looking at Asami, he off course did not see the other female but awaited what would happen from where he stood.

Kasumi was just about to sneak out from behind the brick wall when a face suddenly popped around behind it and was but inches from hers, shocked Kasumi fell backwards onto her butt and stared at the girl before her with wide eyes. She was busted. As the young girl asked her if she had seen a small dog walk past Kasumi realised just how stuck she was, if she said no or yes then the odds were that the girl was going to search for the dog and get worried but if she just said the truth and that was that she was the dog from moments ago then she would be branded insane. Neither were options she liked the sound of in the slightest, stumbling to form any actual words in response to the girl’s question Kasumi started to panic. ”Err, ummm, I, ye, no, I…a dog?” Hearing a bark Kasumi’s head spun to the left only to see the large dogs from moments ago on leashes being dragged along by their master, it seemed that at the sight of her they became rather angry once more despite the fact she was in human form. Quickly getting to her feet Kasumi spoke “Argh crud not them again!” Sure she didn’t need to worry about being chased anymore since the dogs were on leads but she was still on edge, she didn’t trust those leads to hold an angry dog. Suddenly she realised what she had said and slowly turned back to face the girl wondering if she had indeed picked up on her words as well.

To be perfectly fair, Ichigo had run a long way, but he didn't really have to drag anyone apart from himself thanks to Asami's skates, maybe he was getting a little out of shape? She thought of that, but said nothing as to not hurt his feelings. But then turned her attention back towards the girl she had just met, she seemed familiar in a way.. but she couldn't quite pick it out... though her reaction to the question about the dog was a little out of place. Before she could ask what was wrong she heard the barking of those dogs from before... but noticed this new girl say something that really made her question what was going on. How could she say that if she hadn't been chased... which gave Asami quite a thought, though it may seem like a long shot. Those eyes, they were what she could remember. ”You were that cute little dog weren't you!” she said, poking Kasumi right on the nose. It made sense... sort of, she had seen stranger recently. ”Ichigo-Kun! Come over here” she beaconed him over without letting Kasumi out of her sights... this was far to interesting an opportunity to pass up.

IC: She had not been that heavy to drag thanks to Asami`s skates but the day was very warm and he had been training earlier, off course asami could assume anything but it was not his style to brag so he kept shut about it as he ruffled his hair, he listened to someone talk now in return had someone been spying on them? Ichigo started to walk towards Asami as she had caught his curiosity, though he had hesitated because he did not want to get dragged into something he might later regret...

Maybe it was too late to back down now Ichigo sighed half heartedly as he stood next to Asami as well as he had heard Asami call him there what is it? that moment he noticed a pretty girl behind the brick wall, Ichigo narrowed his eyes, oh no this was bad, his face went slightly idiot like comical but noticed that the girl wore clothes, it was the dog from before was it not? then how come she was wearing clothes? Ichigo was pleased to see that she was wearing clothes no doubt about that, in fact he would most certainly gotten angry if the girl had not worn any clothes. Unlike a certain neko bastard, Ichigo`s eyes twiched slightly when he stared at the girl she was probably not much older than him, whats up with this friggin town why does everyone have to be so damn weird he thought for himself, first that damn hat and clogs then the neko bastard and their friggin inhuman kids and a giant. then there was his friends and kon and now these? how many more weird people actually lived in this town!?! Ichigo snapped back to reality and offered to pull the girl back up on her feet, as it was the most common sense thing to do at the moment, Ichigo had heard Asami ask if she really was the dog from before, Ichigo had assumed the same thing, but decided not to ask it first what is your name girl?

Kasumi blinked as Asami poked her on the nose, she had been found out and she started to panic slightly as the teenage boy was motioned over. “Umm well you see, I…” As Ichigo came into view from around the corner of the brick wall Kasumi sighed, she was officially busted…..but wait! Why on earth were they not freaking out?! And not many people would jump to the conclusion that she had been a dog moments ago…..Kasumi started to think that these two must not be your everyday regular humans either. She hesitated for a moment to accept the hand that Ichigo offered her, not because she was thinking of not taking it but because she was stunned that someone was going to help her. She had not had the best of luck with getting anything but torment and ridicule from the people she had met so far, not exactly the best first impression of Karakura she had to admit. As she accepted the hand offered to her and got to her feet Kasumi smiled in a rather timid way to the two before her.

“Umm my name is Kasumi, Kasumi Takeda. I’m sorry for causing you trouble….I didn’t mean it I swear.” Some would say that Kasumi had a better puppy dog face when in human form then an actual puppy and they weren’t wrong, able to melt even the coldest of hearts with it Kasumi was a force to reckon with…at least in the situations it could be helpful. As she looked at Ichigo with that very expression on her face she hoped she could prevent him from getting angry. She turned to look at Asami as well hoping that she could keep her from becoming frustrated at the situation she had put the two of them in just moments ago.
