Emerge from the depths [open]

He had been compared to a wild animal, though it was partially true the genius military man inside his mind was offended and felt defiled. This did nothing to improve his worsening mood but then again he did not expect to be happy in life, his goal was to feel full and well nourished which had yet to ever completely happen since he was raised as a hollow. A call was made but he ignored it, he did however feel the need to keep watch over his things so he entered the room and looked to see a very annoyed man and woman looking at each other. He made a quick sniff in the air to confirm the location of his hidden snacks and when he was satisfied that none of them had been found he walked over to grab a bite to eat. He had completely ignored the two personal guards as he strode in between them to a large pile of things, deep inside he thrust his hand and when he pulled it out he held a dislocated right arm. "Son of a bitch, now I'm going to have to dig the rest out later." He shoved the limb into his mouth and started to gnaw on it like a toothpick and he rose to full height. Turning a full 180 he had the pair of guards in his line of sight once more, the snack would soothe his nerves but he hoped to not be called a simple animal anymore.

Nova remained quite, this quiet battle was not over, he knew he would probably pay for it later on down the line. Needless to say, his answer to Vanille’s question, did nothing to help their partnership. Nevertheless, Vanille ordered Alexander to came back into the room. Though it didn’t seem as though he was complying, the leader of the exequias strolled into the room, and for a moment, Nova arched a brow, was Alexander doing as Vanille said? It appeared as though he wasn’t, and he casually walked past the two guards and proceeded to a pile of things.

Much to Nova’s displeasure, Alex reached into the pile and pulled out a severed arm, Nova let out an audible sigh as he looked back to Vanille, almost as if to say he had nothing to do with the arm, though he was sure, that Vanille would not believe him now.

Vanille was used to silence from Nova, so it didn't really matter what happened there, but as Alexander walked back into the room she went to congratulate him. ”Well done on your promo...” she sounded a little happier when she said this only to have him stride past her. She blinked to see him suddenly pull an arm out of a pile and simply gnaw on it as if it was just what people did... though as it were, it seemed more common occurrence recently. ”How many of our comrades have you killed?” she asked sighing slightly, she was a bit off color today, Nova would have noticed by now though.

Alex stopped his chewing for a moment and removed the arm from his mouth, the limb in his hand was draped over his shoulder as he sat down on the pile of junk to once more be at eyes level. "Believe it or not this isn't arrancar meat, I managed to get my hands on a wandering human during my last trip to their home world." He didn't think she would like the true origin of his snack much more than her original assumption but then again it may have improved her look depending on her standing with the human race. "My promotion means little really since it just means that what I naturally do already is now my duty, but thanks for bringing it up since you actually seem to mean it." He replaced the arm in his mouth like an addict does a cigarette, he considered giving up the habit of feasting on flesh and replacing it with smoking, for a second he took the idea seriously but then he realized that it would make his job much more complicated so he gave up on it and snapped the bones with his mouth and slurped the limb down his throat like a limp noodle.

Nova’s expression, once again went blank, Alex had to be by far, the one arrancar, that Nova had ever seen eat so much. It was natural for an arrancar to seek power, and go on an eating spree, but Alex was just doing it our of sheer pleasure. Once again, this sad little piece of information only solidified Nova’s stance on the other arrancar, and espada.

“going to the world of the living, is strictly forbidden, especially for those who are not a member of the espada.” Nova said. He looked to Vanille, how would they deal with this bit of information now? As far as Nova knew, Alex had received no dispatch from neither Vanille, nor himself, could incognita have sent him on a mission? It was unlikely, whatever the case, this issue now had to be resolved.

Vanille was actually horrified by this, attacking humans was simply not on, at least in her books. It was a reason she didn't agree with this attack Incognita had devised. That, and the fact he had broken one of the laws to go ahead and do that. Vanille decided she would see if the man was worthy of his new position. ”You have two choices... Change your ways” she paused and placed her hand on her zanpakuto. ”Or die” Nova would of never seen her even move her hand towards her sword before, this was a day of firsts it would seem.

Alex was annoyed, he knew that the base power level of the guard was higher than his own but in all honesty he would rather die than give up his gluttonous ways. He rose to his feet but did not reach for the giant hunting knife attached to his chest by the hilt on his shoulder, rather he planned on reasoning with her in a way that they could learn to accept each other. "I dont want to fight you, in the end we would kill each other and that accomplishes nothing you see. You may have more power than I but as Nova so bluntly pointed out, some of us are simply wild animals that cannot be controlled." His face was uncaring almost annoyed by the ultimatum now and the crocodile grin was no where to be seen, his words had been shown to be completely serious and he hoped that Vanille would understand his statements' meaning.

*interesting* thought the personal guard, and a brow arched above one of his icy purple eyes. He was looking directly at Vanille, who was just full of surprises today, she had issued Alex an ultimatum, and then reached for her sword. Nova lowered his head, this was not the type of behaviors, that he had grown to expect from his fellow personal guard. In Nova’s mind, she was acting like one of them, resorting to violence to solve a problem.

Again, Nova arch ached a brow, only this time it was aimed in Alexander’s direction, now he was the one acting as Vanille should have, just what was going on here? There personalities seemed switched. Reaching out, Nova placed his hand on Vanilles “there is no need to lower yourself to such a level.” though the words seemed caring, the tone was anything but, it still lacked emotion.

Vanille moved he hand away from Nova's. ”This isn't about descending to their level. I want this senseless killing to stop” Having heard him speak about not wanting to fight almost made her life, she had decided that this would have to continue until he succumbed. ”Then don't fight, just die” she held out a single hand, pointing at him directly. The air around them would seem to heat up as fire seemed to form at the tip of her finger, forming into what he would recognise as a cero, though different from what either of the other two would of seen before. She had told Nova once that her powers were highly destructive, this was no exception. Without a moments hesitation she would fire off the cero at Alex, it was almost as large as he was, searing with heat as it made its way towards him at high speed.

"Annoying pest..." These words were clearly heard from under Alexander's extremely annoyed voice as he made his way out of the fire range as it fully formed in the female guard's hand, by making use of the sonido technique he cleared it entirely and managed himself near the door behind the shrimp with the attitude. He reluctantly reached up and drew his weapon from its place across his chest and slit a small line on his tongue to awaken the beast inside him, this woman had opened fire on him within his own chambers and although he would not take her life he would make sure to repay the disrespect in full. He stood and waited for the pair to realize where he was since the use of a sonido was a very rare action to take as expressed through the rumors and legends that numeros had crafted about him. His lips turned into a snarl as his fingers and toes lengthened and grew sharp while his teeth split into multiple rows and gained an even better razor-like edge to them. "You fire on me in my own home....this is a great dishonor my lady...." His face was blank and his body rigid as he stood there completely silent, his clothes bulged beneath his knife arm as the muscle twitched. He had not had a true fight in a long time and his instincts were getting excited so he was looking forward to this.

With a sudden flash, it appeared as though Vanille, had fired of a cero. It was interesting to see, but Nova just stood still and almost looked like a statue sitting there in the room. He was indeed, surprised by the quiet girls actions, but he was much more focused on collecting all the data he could on her. He took strong note of how the surrounding air in the chamber had heated up while the cero was forming *that must be an effect of her abilities* Nova thought, as his mind then quickly located Alexander, he had apparently sonido’d away from the cero and was now behind the two personal guards.

Nova turned around to face the behemoth, and was not impressed, he stared at Alex, and then turned to Vanille “I believe, you must finish what you started Vanille. I told you not to lower yourself to such a level.” though Nova had no intention of helping Vanille, he would step in if he had to.

Vanille seemed to ignore the fact she had blasted a large now burning hole in the room, but had still missed. She calmly looked over to where he moved to, thinking that his sonido was quick enough to stop her. Only for her to follow up, still having left her zanpakuto sheathed at her waist. Letting him barely finished his sentence before using her own sonido, directly in front of him as she punched him somewhere in the stomach, or wherever she could reach really. Though her size was no way to gauge her strength, which was quite a bit stronger than his despite the muscular physique he had which she lacked. If this connected, he would probably double over in pain and be pushed backwards. ”Violence is the only language these beasts understand Nova-Sama... You know that” For someone in such a rage, she sounded very calm, as if she wasn't even fighting at all. Though her pressure would tell a completely different story, Nova may feel the slight increase in temperature, but for Alex it would seem like someone had turned up the heat somewhat drastically, not that it would hamper his ability to fight...
