Personality: Nel's appearance is in stark contrast to her vocabulary, which contains a number of bizarre phrases and words one wouldn't expect such a small child to know, such as calling her uvula a "throat penis" and referring to herself as a masochist. Ichigo Kurosaki assumes her Hollow companions are responsible for this. Nel and her companions also represent oddities among Hollows, though most Hollows are evil, Nel actually fears Shinigami, assuming they are in fact the evil ones. In spite of this, she develops an attachment to Ichigo and follows him into Las Noches. During their super sentai intro she prefers the name"Thieves: Nel-Don-Pe." She also seems to speak with a lisp in her child form, frequently pronouncing "S"s as "T"s.

As Nelliel, she is much more mature, composed, logical, sophisticated, and intelligent than her child form. She is also relatively level-headed in terms of how to fight, stating that if one's excuse for a battle is to fight out of hatred, prejudice, or simple competition, as Nnoitra does, then it is merely instinctual and animalistic, and that it makes the challenger look "childish," "unworthy," and "not much of a warrior". Though Nelliel has proven during her last few minutes as a full-fledged Espada that it is 'acceptable' when it involves vengeance, she does not view even that as a reason to fight. Unlike many of the Arrancar, Nelliel is somewhat pacifistic, and according to her Fracción, has despised engaging in combat even when she was still among the upper ranks of the Espada, unless it involves self-defense and protecting those dear to her heart. It is for this reason that Pesche and Dondochakka decided to simply be content with her child form and banished themselves from Las Noches. She refuses to finish off weaker or injured opponents, and will stop fighting them once they've been disabled or incapacitated, a trait shared with Kenpachi Zaraki.

As witnessed during her numerous fights with Nnoitra, Nelliel's shown to be relatively calm and silent when fighting, preferring to speak only when spoken to, a rather uncommon trait among most Arrancar. She is even shown to enjoy reading, usually seen reading a book after her mission or after waiting for Nnoitra to wake up after their recent battle.

Nelliel's also shown to be a loyal, respectful, and trustworthy warrior, who will diligently follow the orders of her commander, provided said commander has proven his worth.

She's also knowledgeable, analytical, easygoing, fairly compassionate (usually towards her friends), humorous in her own right, and exhibits a cheerful, energetic demeanor when off-duty. Although having grown up physically, she somehow retains her child-like affection over Ichigo, best-shown when she unexpectedly bear-hugged him after attacking Nnoitra without realizing that Ichigo was losing consciousness (although the anime's flashback of Nel's accident suggested that she was always somewhat childish outside of combat).

Name: Yoruichi Shihoin

Personality: Yoruichi is intelligent and witty, holding an intimate knowledge of the Soul Society and its workings, as she was the former leader of the Onmitsukidō and the Second Division's captain. Although of noble birth, she acts differently from most other nobles, very much like Kaien Shiba. For instance, she instructed Suì-Fēng to refer to her without using honorific suffixes, but reluctantly settled for being called "Yoruichi-sama". She also transforms into her human form directly in front of Ichigo on several occasions just to see his reaction to seeing her naked, which she even teases him about. Another note of her eccentricity is that she speaks in a dialect that elders use, such as identifying herself as "washi" (a term that usually old men define themselves with) instead of more feminine terms like "watashi" in both her human and animal forms. .Although relatively calm and mature when a situation calls for it, Yoruichi is quite laid-back and playful, often teasing or flirting with those younger than her, such as Ichigo Kurosaki at the underground hot spring, a younger and hot-headed Byakuya Kuchiki, Suì-Fēng before her time as a captain and Kisuke Urahara, childhood friend, former underling and fellow ex-captain. Yoruichi prefers to drink milk, which fits with her practice of transforming into a cat.

Personality: Lin is a very complex girl, whose personality has gradually changed in her lifetime. When she was young, she was amazingly creative and expressive. She had a unusually sunny, optimistic outlook on her life, because life was good. She had her parents and such, who constantly cared for her. She had loyal friends, who wouldn't be caught betraying one another. And she had a good home, not some run-down miserable shack that was frequent in the lower Rukongai areas. Lin enjoyed collecting small insects and keeping them in tiny little jars, as she wanted to see them grow up and live. Most of them died, but she would keep going on to collect them. It showed her dedication to things she deemed important.

A few more years went by, and Lin had changed somewhat. The loss of her parents had also taken her optimism too. As they were Lin's only family, she had no where to stay. She began to steal from vendors, teaching herself silence, grace, and most of all, stealth. Another few more years went by, and Lin was now 78, though she only looked around 13. She was happier then ever, learning how to depend on herself. Albeit, some of her ability to connect emotionally to others wasn't as great as when she was young, but it was only because she had been alone for so long. The feeling of coldness would often pervade her mind. When she saw a pair of young orphans out on the street, she adopted them and cared for them. This greatly improved her personality, making her much more caring and nurturing.

She developed a almost mother-like bond with the children, who somewhat restored her happy outlook. Tragedy struck years later, throwing Lin into a reckless, insensitive, distant sadness. With absolutely no desire left to stay in the Rukon, she went to the Academy to become a shinigami. For several years, she trained vigorously at the Academy on pretty much every aspect of her life. She gradually re-developed a personality. When she left for the Gotei 13, she became a steady and eclectic mix of her past mindsets. She had the optimistic outlook that she had in childhood, yet it was tinged with the sadness that had caused her to enroll in the Academy. This granted her a new found sense of gratefulness, and to never take anything for granted. Her fun-loving, dedication, and snarky wit had increased though. Along with this came the vices.

She was a bit judgmental sometimes, and very critical of those who had the good life. Partially because she was envious of how they had rarely suffered the troubles she did, but how it was likely that they could never understand what she had been through. All in all, Lin retained a very diverse, fun, yet solemn spirit. Lin's favorite color is a combo of orange and lime green. Her favorite food is chicken soup. She absolutely loves the rain, snow, and heavy storms. She prefers to walk during normal situations, rather than Shunpo to her job. Lin takes immense pleasure in playfully teasing the rest of her Division members. She'll take secret trips to the Human World rarely. Lin enjoys gathering and collecting herbs and spices and storing them in her office. For this reason, her office is very fragrant and calming. She's a bit competitive hem challenged on certain things.
