A Return Visit (Lin)

Tamashi was walking through the streets of the seireitei, heading to the place where he first met Lin, the entrance to the warehouse. He needed to retrace his steps in order to find her house, where he had left behind his wet clothes from that day, and he was using this as an excuse to go visit. He didn't really need an excuse, but it was always better to have a reason.

He finally found the warehouse, and followed around it to the side exit. Once there he looked around, and began to walk in the general direction he had taken with Lin to get to her place. He sighed, stopping, looking around again, slightly lost. He continued however, and eventually saw what looked like Lin's place, the only thing making it stand out is the welcome mat.

He smiled and walked up to the door, and knocked three times, stepping back he clasped his hands behind his back and waited for someone, hopefully Lin, to answer.

Lin yawned as she stepped out of the shower, gently twisting the bamboo handle to the right. A small guttural sound echoed out of the shower, and the water ceased to run. She quickly stomped her feet on the rough white towel below her feet, placed there to soak up any water that dripped from her body. Lin quickly snatched a towel sitting on a tiny, square bamboo table. She patted the towel against her skin, shivering slightly due to the transition from hot, dewy shower water to cold morning air. It had to be around 7 in the morning, she had just woken up less than a half-hour ago. After drying her body, she wrapped another towel around her shoulder length pinkish-red hair.

Lin snagged a fluffy green robe with purple flower prints on it off of the hook, slipping it around her body. She tied the silky string around her waits loosely, making sure that her robe was secure. Lin strode over to her small bedroom, swiftly kicking a few loose articles like books and sandals out of her path. Once she walked through the open threshold of her bedroom, she heard three knocks at the door. Looking back at the door, then to the pile of clothes that was her wardrobe, she sighed slightly. Turning on her heels, she walked back to the door. Lin pressed her ear close to the door and giggled. ”Yes, who's there?” She called out, loud enough to where whoever was on the other end could here it.

As Tamashi waited for someone to answer he glanced around, looking at the trees, and other homes, comparing them to each other, though they all looked identical. He sighed, finding this all too bland. He turned back to the door as he heard sounds from inside. He waited patiently for someone to answer the door. Finally he heard someone inside speak.

Tamashi broke out into a grin immediately, he recognized the voice. He was at the right place after all. He was happy about that, no longer stressing over the fact that he had made a wrong turn, or passed it. He waited a little, without meaning to, before he replied. "It's me Miss. Lin, Tamashi. I wanted to come visit, I have some news, and I also wanted to get my clothes from last time." He said, smiling at the door, wondering if she would let him in this early in the morning.
