Lips Like Morphine [Open - No Fighting]

A hush fell upon the desolate, underground forest, the only sound being of soft footsteps upon the dusty ground. They suddenly paused. Cold emerald eyes scanned a small clearing. A jet black, forked tongue passed the seafoam green tinted lips of a young female. Several scents were collected at the tips of her tongue. Menos surrounded her. She flicked her tongue again before letting out a low his before releasing her spiritual pressure. She then flicked her tongue once more. Nothing. The area, now free of any known presences. The young woman bright her right hand up and brushed a lock of hair from her eyes. She knealt on the ground before curling up on the cold ground. She was tired, dreadfully tired. She had been wandering for quite some time, searching for a safe place to sleep.

This young arrancar was arrancar number fifteen, Alruna Espinosa. She was also frequently called !la Serpiente Emplumada by those who have seen her resurreccion. She was a rather petite woman. She was 5' 3" with a slender build. Her long, pin straight hair tumbled down her back like a verdant waterfall. Her mask remnant was nothing more than a maxillary jaw bone on the left side of her head, two inches to the left of her forehead. It looked much like a hair ornament made of bone. Hidded behind closed lids were her piercing, lime green eyes. She had a stare that could entrance a person with just one look. Despite her looks, Alruna was peaceful. She felt that violence, rage, and the need to mate were primitive and she felt none of the above. She saw them as emotions that were below her. She was a rare breed of arrancar that developed a more evolved state of mind. One that didn't evolve around violence and lust. She much preferred to be alone, hence her relcusive nature.

Alruna silently layed there in the dirt, curled up. She arched her back a little before pouring a bit of her reiatsu into the tuft of feathers between her shoulder blades. At that moment, she sprouted a pair of colorful, feathered wings. Each wing was about ten feet in length, and the feathers were a mix of reds, yellows, and greens. She wrapped the wings around her body for warmth and comfort, she now resting peacefully in the darkest part of the clearing. She hoped to avoid any trouble and any aggressive confrontation, seeing it as primitive and a waste of time. It wasn't long before she finally fell asleep, not having a care in the world.

At last, it was taking it's toll on Tomix. He had had no contact for over a month, and he was losing his grip on relaity. He had been hunted, left for dead, and stuck with a crazy AI. And now, he couldn't take it.
"Why...why...Why is it so cold...?" He was shaking. His raven hair was increibly messy, his pants were torn, and his trench coat patched.

"It's over now...It's all over. Everyone deserted me...ME!" He yelled the last word. He suddenly looked around. Due to his Arrancar abilities, he could see much further then the ordinary Arrancar. Looking down, he could see a female arrancar, sleeping, curled up in some intresting colored wings.
"Intresting." Jumping down, he landed softly next to her.

"Very...very...intresting..." He just sat there staring at her for a long time...

After what seemed like hours, she stirred. She slowly sat up, her wings unwrapping themselves and stretching out to their full length at her sides. She sat up on her knees, stretching her arms in the air. Her back arched, her muscled in sweet tension. Her mouth opened wide, letting a heavy yawn pass. As she yawned, her retractable fangs folded down from the roof of her mouth. Her body's tension caused a few drops of her venom to drip onto her tongue. As she relaxed, her fangs retracted once more. She could taste the venom on her tongue, but was unaffected by it. She flicked the black, forked organ out into the air a couple times. That's when she noticed it. A scent. Someone was close. In fact...

Alruna blinked a couple times and slowly turned her head to where she was looking over her right shoulder. She saw who she could smell. A male arrancar. She arched a brow an rose to her feet. She folded her wings against her back. At that moent, they seemed to burst into a flurry of brightly colored feathers. Slowly, the feathers drifted down around her feet, her wings now gone until she needed them again. Her bright, lime green eyes locked on the male's own gaze. He was just staring at her. What did he want from her? She closed her eyes, bowing her head in a slight nod. A simple, silent greeting that was common for Alruna. She placed her hands at her sides, her overly long sleeves drifting over her hands to cover them completely. Finally, she spoke. Who...Who are you..? Her voice was soft and sweet. A rarity to say the least with the reclusive feathered serpent.

For a very long time, Tomix just sat there staring at the sleeping girl. Just by looking at her, he felt peaceful. And then, after what seemed hours, she stirred. Tomix straightened up. She seemed to look around for a few moments, and then she was looking at him. Then she bowed her head, and then she finally spoke, asking who he was.

It took Tomix a full minute to respond. He just sat there staring at her, then he murmured...
"My name...is Tomix...Drakeson..." He said slowley.

Alruna canted her head to the right as the male slowly spoke his name. Did he see her as slow and stupid. A weak smile tugged at her aquamarine tinted lips. She closed her eyes and nodded slowly in response, then returned the favor, speaking her name in a soft, gentle tone. Alruna..Alruna Espinosa... She exhaled slowly, her eyes slowly opening again, her bright green hues on the male's own gaze once again. Her long, forked tongue flicked out again, capturing his scent over and over to get used to the smell of a new aquaintence. She could feel his power, but a question floated around in her head. Why...is someone of your magnitude lurking within this forest of mindless hollows, Mr. Drakeson..?

It was a whole minute before Tomix replied to the girl, whose name was revealed to be Alruna. Suddenly, he sat on the ground, cross-legged.
"Well, there are several reasons I'm out here. Firstly, the Espada loathe me, due to a little personal matter, second of all, there is a beserk Arrancar tracking me to try and steal my abilities." He said as if it happened all the time.

Alruna blinked at the man's reply, then quietly sighed. Mindless heathens......why must they resort to such aggressive tactics? The fools...uncivilized beasts.... Alruna saw all other arracar as primitive animals. She had a bit of a superiority complex, but not because of her power. She felt superior because of her advanced intellect. She felt more....evolved. She turned back towards the male arrancar, her tongue flicking out at him again. You....you aren't a heathen like the others, yesss? You seem more....intelligent... Alruna could see a peace keeper in those eyes. He wasn't a violent monster. No.. She could see the kindness in him. Maybe that's why the Espada loathed him like they did her. She always criticized their carnal needs. The need to feed, fuck, and fight. Dispicable. She let out a heavy hiss at the thought, then sat on her knees, directly across from the male. Perhaps she'd enjoy this one's company after all. Even if he disturbed her nap.

Tomix agreed with her.
"I hate the Espada as well. Ever since what they did to me....Well, I'm not sure if it's a curse or a blessing, but in any case...Activate, Delta."
Tomix's shoulder glowed with green light, and then a small armoured holagraphic human appeared on his shoulder.

"Hello, Tomix. How is your sanity today, and who is your...wonderfully coloured friend?" Delta fixed his eyes on Alruna, obviously pleased by her green colour.

Alruna's brow furrowed slightly when the man mentioned a single word. Hate. She didn't hate the Espada. Hatred was below her. She rid herself of all primal emotions. Love, hate, lust envy, rage. She felt nothing. Alruna's attention was soon captured when the male summoned a small green figure. He called it Delta. Alruna arched a brow. This thing was the same sgade of green as her eyes. Intrigued, Alruna leaned in, her long, forked tongue darting out towards the green figure, attempting to obtain a scent to process. She couldn't get one. She sat up and closed her eyes. A non-organic being.....fascinating...greetings...Delta, isn't it? I am Alruna..

Tomix allowed Delta to speak for some time.
"Greetings there, Miss...Alruna? In anycase, I am Delta, the Logic of the Alpha Construct. It is my great pleasure to meet you!" He said excitedly. Delta had never met someone his colour before.

"Delta tends to ramble a bit..." Tomix sighed at Alruna.

Alruna sat back slightly as the odd figure introduced itself. It seemed so excited over something so trivial. Alruna just gave a slight nod and let out a faint "Hnn..." She closed her eyes and softly yawned again, her fangs unfolding against the roof of her mouth. The tips pressed against her bottom lip, small beads of venom dripping from her fangs and running down her chin. As she finished yawning and closed her mouth, her fangs folded back against the roof of her mouth again. She wiped the venom from her chin and slowly opened her eyes. Her lips looked glossy as the toxin coated them like a clear lip gloss. She ignored it. It was a defense mechanism anyway. One kiss and the victim would fall numb. Alruna turned her attention back to Tomix and Delta, not really sure of what to do at this point. She wasn't exactly a social butterfly. She was a reclusive serpent. She didn't socialize much. She didn't really know how to. For the najority of her life, she was alone. Espeially after the murder of Layle. She simply stared at the two, wondering of they'd get boredof her or suggest something. Hnn...

Tomix and Delta both watched in intrest as Alruna yawned, and to their suprise, fangs folded out of her mouth. Venom slipped from them, covering her lips. And just like that, they folded back into her mouth. Tomix was about to speak up when she sighed loudly.

"Um...What brought you to this..." Suddenly Tomix's neck snapped to above, as if he was staring at somthing. Then it snapped back to Alruna. "place in the forest?" He continued as if it was nothing.

Alruna noticed the male and his tiny companion watching her with curious expressions on their faces. She was about to explain what they saw, but the male spoke. His sentence was broken off when his eyes darted upward. She tilted her head slightly to the right, then flicked her tongue out again. A new scent? She wondered if it was what was troubling Tomix. She then heard him finish his question. Alruna shook the thought of another presence, and answered him promptly. I live here....by choice. It's quiet...and secluded...as you probably figured.....I'm not exactly a people person...mainly because I cannot find another who shares similar interests... She then thought of something. If this place was troubling the boy....then she should accomodate his accordingly. She exhaled slowly, channeling her reiatsu into the tuft of feathers between her shoulder blades. And in a burst of multi-colored feathers, she sprouted her wings once again. She rose to her feet and looked down at the boy, offering him her hand. Come with me...I need to stretch my wings anyway.... She still sounded so stoic, despite being pleased to have company that wasn't horribly unpleasant.
