A pillar rose from the ground. It continued to rise and rise until it had reached thirty stories high. Down at the bottom stood a exceptionally large man with stark white hair. Then man cracked his knuckles and took a drag of a ciggerette. He made his spirit pressure become godly in power. This would be bound to bring some people to play with him. He wanted just a opponent or a few, back at teh fortress you do not fight much.

This Pillar looked alot like the tip of a katana, and it stood in the middle of a small city on the edge of spain. It was made of a black glass called obsidian. James had left notice of his leave, said he was just going on one of his many travels to teh human world to show the other species that the Arrancar are at the top of the food chain.

Shunsui was on duty in the human world, checking for any resurgence of the Espada. It had been said that disappearances had happened within Las Noches as well, and if so, then new Espada would've started filling in the ranks. It was his job to discover and analyze the new Espada, but he was told to leave any that he met alive. No intelligence had been collected on their new leader, if they had one, so Shunsui was ordered to interrogate them on their new leadership. The thought of new Espada scared Shunsui a bit, what if they had already created a new hogyoku? This was the information that the Gotei 13 needed.

He felt a monstrous reiatsu from about a mile away. This reiatsu immediately reminded him of his battle with Stark, the powerful Primera Espada. He was calm, cool, and collected, but he noticed that not all of his fellow arrancar would be this way. Flash stepping towards the arrancar's direction, Shunsui was worried that this man wouldn't be as agreeable.

Shunsui stood before the tall white-haired arrancar with a soft smile. "I am Shunsui Kyoraku, Captain of the 8th Division. May I ask what you're doing here?" Shunsui's flowered kimono whipped around in the wind as he stood there, smiling without a bit of anger in his voice.

James took a long drag of his ciggerette before speaking, even then afterwards he removed a flask of rum from his shirt taking a sip. " I am James White. Primera Espada, pleasure to meet you Kyoraku. " He put the flask back in his light blue dress shirt, it flapped in the light wind from how James wore it, showing most of his heavily battle scarred chest.

" I am here to have some fun. I hope you do not mind playing with me for a little? " His crisp critish accent flowing in the wind. His spirit energy to Kyoraku would seem to contantly grow, at least four times stronger than it was when Kyoraku got there. This was a trick, a ability of James' to seem stronger than he really is.

Shunsui sighed, his face switching to a slight frown for a moment. This was some kind of cruel joke, it had to be. He had killed the first Primera and now the second one was in front of him, four times stronger. It was funny to think that maybe Aizen had failed at finding the strongest hollows to turn into arrancar, because the one before him must have had even greater strength than Aizen himself if he judged solely by reiatsu.

Still, no shock was upon Shunsui's face, he did nothing that would show that he didn't have reiatsu equal to what the Primera was putting out. He just stood calmly and smiled once again as the thoughts traveled through his mind. If he could defeat the Primera here and now, he'd have destroyed the Espada's greatest power. But, then again, there was also the opportunity to collect information here. He decided here and now that he wouldn't fight to kill, just injure him enough so that he'd be willing to give up some information.

"Fine." Shunsui said, smiling a bit at the little joke that he knew was coming. "White moves first." He unsheathed both of his blades and looked the Primera in the eyes, waiting for his attack.

James reached behind him and unhooked a completely oversized sword from his back; Null Excalibur. He brought it over and swung it down lazily at the ground below him, making a large crater. " It always does, doesn't it. " He said kindly to the man infront of him. He bowed slightly, with grace that was very unbecoming of James.

He jumped backwards to just beside the Katana shaped spire, placing his free hand on it. Suddenly, a good chunk at the bottom seemed to just be gone. the entire Obsidain spire fell towards James Opponent. This was the perfect time to call timber.

Shunsui bowed back silently, keeping eye contact with James while he did so. As the large spire started coming down, Shunsui quickly disappeared and reappeared at James' side with his body already in motion. Shunsui quickly spun clockwise, making the strike slightly stronger as he let loose a slash that could potentially take of James' arm. As his second sword came around, he unleashed a second slash that was of equal strength and aimed for his chest.

It usually wasn't in Shunsui's nature to start a battle off with such powerful strikes, but he needed to find out if this monstrous reiatsu was just a facade. If he was as strong as his reiatsu made it appear, he'd have the strength, hierro, and speed needed to back it up. Shunsui flash stepped behind him immediately after finishing the second strike, standing in a defensive stance.

James spun to block the two slashes with his large sword. Able to block both with ease with only one move. The second he was behind him James swung around, bringing his massive sword in a largely arcing swing toward him as he lunged forward. All this adding to James' Monstrous strength; even for an Espada. He would almost instantly follow it up with a upward slash that tore through the ground as if it were paper, this strike was not as powerful as the last, but much faster.

The glass katana made no small impact. It landed with a thundering boom and shatter, sending obsidian glass shards in every direction. Hundreds even flying in teh direction of James and Kyoraku, though they bounced harmlessly off of James' hierro. Most likely killing lots of civilian humans also, as their chorus of screams could easily be heard.

Shunsui was amazed by the strength of the Primera, it seemed to be on par with that of Stark. He quickly turned and blocked the strike, though James' sword kept coming towards him. Shunsui flash stepped backwards, staying in striking range, but he was too late. James' blade had cut into his kimono, but hadn't met skin. "Now I'm gonna have to buy a new-" Shunsui began saying, but was cut off by James' follow-up attack. The blade tore through Shunsui's kimono and kosode, leaving a shallow slash on his body from his waist to his chest.

Shunsui flash stepped behind James, hiding behind him to avoid the damage from the shattered glass katana. Shunsui was sympathetic to their screams, but there was little that he could do for them. He sighed as he realized that the katana falling upon him was meant to make him choose between their lives and his own. He now realized that this was a new kind of Primera, maybe the exact opposite of Stark. Shunsui flash stepped back in front of James as the shards subsided, he stabbed at James under his own left arm and then followed up by attempting to knock James away with the blunt side of his second sword.

James used shunpo to quickly dodge the stab and get behind the Shinigami. Though before he could counter he was assaulted with another attack, this one he was able to block effectively. He raised his arm and as the blunt side of the blade connected with his forearm, James used his large reserves of strength to stop the blow from pushing him.

" I was wondering if we could make a wager. I am not big on pointless killing, much to your disbelief from what just happened. I did truly expect you to stop it from happening in some way. Must be getting rusty with people. " He jumped twenty meters backwards, scratching is scalp, " Getting off topic. Anyway, the wager is, I shall allow us to fight until it is obvoius who shall win. If you win, I shall tell you what I can about the Espada's plans, what each Espada is capable of, yadda yadda. If I win, you tell me what you know about the abilities of each captain. Is that fair? "
