Making Friends (Open to a liuetenant or captain)

Shuhei crouched down himself by the pool this time and watched the rippling waters, slowly dipping his hand into the cool water. He smiled to himself and let his eyes drift over the reflections before standing up again, letting the water slowly drip off his hand to the grass and flowers. He sighed quietly to himself and was lost in thought once more. It was difficult to keep his attention on anything specific for the past few days, and he wasn't really listening to Kohana before she mentioned the special bond between her and her plants. His eyes widened and look towards her as she demonstrated it before their eyes. He was shocked to believe one that such a bond could be capable between so many plants, and also that she allowed it to happen. 'Thats ... thats ... Well, i dont know what that is ...' He was speechless, and he became very suddenly self aware of where he put his feet and hands and suddenly felt very clumsy.

He had gone over to her to see how her hand was but it seemed to have healed with the flower. 'Huh, thats pretty amazing.' He muttered under his breath, and as he turned around to look at Solomon, he saw his black blade unsheathed and raised towards some flowers. Shuhei immediately grabbed his sword also unsheathing it and just as he was about to shunpo towards Solomon, he stopped as he saw blood down his arm. However he didnt look shocked this time, he had been too worried about him trying to damage Kohana. He slowly sheathed his zanpakuto before releasing a sigh of relief and saying 'Sorry about that Solomon, i guess I've been jumpy ever since ... well ...' He left it at that and turned the attention to his arm. 'Thats handy to have then huh? Guess I'm the only one who isn't special around here then.' He said letting out a half smile. He didnt mind, he was glad he was who he was ... in the most part.

Kohana lightly smiled at the two men after demonstrating. She realized that the bond between herself and her flowers seemed like a potential hazard to herself, bit that was far from the truth. Yes, she would take damage if a flower was harmed, but the bond severed itself if a serious amount of harm came to her body from the harm inflicted on the garden. The whole thing confused even her. She didn't often think about it, however, because she protected her garden as if it were her own life. She listened to Shuhei trying to talk with a loss for words. She simply smiled and turned her attention back to her flowers.

At that moment, she noticed Solomon moving out of the corner of her eye. She began to panic as she watched him bring his blade up above his head. As he swung down, Kohana's body gave out from shock. She fainted, falling hard into the verdant sea of grass with a soft thump. She laid motionless, her breathing now soft and shallow. Kohana was easily frightened, especially by such things as an ally even acting as if they were going to attack her. She reacted differently with enemies, her guard always being up, but her guard was down around the two males and Solomon's actions sent the timid girl into a short panic attack that was quickly followed by syncope.

Solomon wiped the blood off and ignored all comments. " Did you know that for over a millenia I have been turning donw the position of Captian? " He said out of nowhere as he leaned down and tried to wake up Konaha. He was an idiot for doing that, but overall he found it worth it. This was alot more than the reaction he wanted though, he just wanted surprise, not knock out shock. His resaoning fro not ever taking a captian position, he hated being charge. It was so busy, he preferred to be out in battle covered in blood, like how life in Zaraki was before he became a shinigami. When it was just him and his bare hands ripping people apart, their screams calling him a monster as nothing they did stopped him. It was amazing, but it made the nobles hate him even more than they hated Kenpachi. Kenpachi was a monster, but nothing like Solomon. Solomon in a frenzy made Kenpachi look tame, especially when Solomon was not using his swords.

Shuhei watched as Solomon casually wiped off the blood and just carried on talking as if this was completely normal and didnt hurt at all. Shuhei shook his head, both in wonder and in confusion. He then heard he mention that he had kept turning down the offer to take up the position of captain, which also surprised him. He then turned back to Kohana when he heard a light thump, as if something had hit the grass, and saw that she had fallen to the ground, but on closer inspection she looked unconscious. He quickly knelt down beside her and checked her pulse as Solomon came over. She seemed alright, and looked as if she had just fainted. Solomon had a go at waking her up while Shuhei raised her head onto a stone and moved her arms to the side just in case. 'Huh, you must have scared her when you demonstrated you healing abilities.' He commented on this as it was the only thing he could think that would cause her to be like this.

He then turned back to Solomon before saying 'So you really never wanted the position of captain for a whole millenia.' The time span seemed pretty incredible, especially to do with his appearance and how old he must really be. 'I gotta admit if i knew about all the paperwork and overtime it would involve, i dont think i would have jumped at the chance to become a captain, so i dont blame ya. But i'm glad you took the position in a time like this, we need everyone we can get!'

Several moments after falling unconscious, Kohana stirred. Her eyes fluttered open, a faint whimper passing her pink lips. She sat up slowly, lightly rubbing her head while looking around. Her mind was slightly fuzzy, but she remembered what happened. She turned her attention to Solomon and shuffled away from him. She remembered him raising his blade to her. She then glanced at Shuhei, somewhat dazed. She slowly brought herself to her feet, her eyes returning to Solomon. You...why did you raise your blade to me..? You simply cemented my feelings about the eleventh squad....brutish animals that need to be caged... Kohana's brow furrowed to show her disappointment and dismay, her bottom lip pursed slightly in an angry pout. Her slender arms crosed over her chest while a few plants began to wilt within the garden in reaction to her sour mood.
