| Kohana followed silently as Izuru lead her to the office of the Sixth Division captain. Kohana was still dressed in her powder blue kimono, taking no time to change into her Shihakusho. Her Lieutenant's armband was secured to the upper part of her left arm. Her long, aqua blue tinted hair was left down, her bangs covering her worry filled eyes. She kept her eyes on her feet as she followed her captain. Upon arrival, she finally lifted her gaze to see the Sixth Division barracks up ahead. She bit her bottom lip, her heart beating uncontrollably within her chest. Her hands fidgited with the sleeves of her furisode, her eyes locked on Izuru. Within a few moments, she and Izuru arrived at the door of Lightning-Taicho's Quarters. She inhaled deeply, then exhaled sharply before looking at Izuru, awaiting to see if he would knock, or if she would have to.

| When they reached the door to the sixth division captains office the blond stopped and looked behind him. " Don't worry I’m sure it will be fine" he trying to reassure her with one of his forced smiles. He then looked back to the door of the office with a sigh. And hope that his words and attempted smile would at least help her a bit. The blond captain stared at the door for some more moments. As three squad members walked passed them and began to whisper something. Kira closed his eyes briefly and faint heard the squad members mention lightning’s name. Kira opened his once more and hoped the squad members weren’t saying that lighting taichou was tough.
Lifting his hand up he knocked on the door a couple times. The first was light , but the next was loud enough to hear on the other side. Watching the door knob the blue eyed Taichou hoped that the other captain was in her office. So, they wouldn’t have to go around the barracks looking for her. Lightning's office was probably the best place to talk. The small green haired girl was already scared enough so, she didn’t need people staring at her as they discussed her fate. Not hearing any footsteps near by the blond knock to more times figuring maybe the female captain didn’t hear the first two knocks.

| Lightning knew that the time for her to deal with her first case of broken rules would occur soon, but to be honest she hadn’t thought it would have been quite so soon after taking the reins again. Perhaps shinigami were becoming more rebellious since her time as the 6th division captain many years ago. She found it hard to believe, Byakuya would have kept a tight handle on the reins in her absence. In fact she truly believed none were more suited to the divisions duties than he. She had heard several knocks at her door, the first rather light showing her that whom ever it was had hesitance in doing so. It seemed that Kira and his lieutenant were at her door faster then she had ever expected, they were the only ones she knew that would have hesitance lurking in their hearts. Then again, lately it seemed she was getting quite the fearsome reputation…….for what she was not sure. She had heard people muttering things about her being similar to Byakuya, she found this odd….she didn’t see herself to be so.
She took a moment to clear her desk of the loose papers she had been reviewing, there had been many things happening in regards to her division’s duties lately. She was like always on top of the paperwork however, even if it meant that she had no time for other things. Neatly placing the last of the paperwork into the drawer of her desk Lightning looked around quickly from her seated position, everything was neat and the fresh scent of cherry blossoms was wafting into her office through the open doors leading to the garden. “Come in” Lightning was seated behind her desk with her legs crossed like usual leaning back into the chair allowing it to take her weight.

| Kohana nodded to Kizuru as he spoke to her, but nothing seemed to lift the fear she held within her. She couldn't erase the thought of being executed from her mind. She barely excaped execution nearly a century ago for the part she played in aiding the Quincies. Kohana was never one to turn down a request for help. She had a soft spot for humans, and it wasn't surprising to her that she fell in love with a human man over any of the numerous sutors within the Seireitei. Kohana couldn't clear her mind from the fearful thoughts. She watched as Izuru knocked on the door a few times. Just as she was about to speak, she heard a woman's voice from within the room, asking them to come in. Kohana swallowed hard, but didn't hesitate. She stepped up beside Izuru, her right hand trembling as it reached to grip the shiny doorknob. She gripped it tightly and turned it to the right. With a slight click and a gentle push, the door was open. Kohana glanced up at Izuru, then walked into the female captain's office. She greeted the woman with a respectful bow, though her body was still quivering. G-Greetings...Lightning-Taicho.... Her voice showed the fear she held, all her actions emminated her level of anxiety. She could smell the lush scent of cherry blossoms, and on a normal occasion, she'd admire the verdant beauty of the sixth squad's vast garden, but now wasn't one of those occasions. Kohana straightened her posture, but kept her gaze on the floor. She waited in silence for Izuru to enter, refusing to say anything else until she was addressed. | |

| Kira sighed slightly as started at the door waiting for a reply. Shortly after his eyes had drifted to the door knob he finally heard the captain say come in. Before he could touch the door upon hearing the voice his vice captain beat him to it. He watched her the small girl walk into the office and followed her shortly after. The thing that he was worried about doing was finally here. And he could tell that his small fuktaichou was just as nervous because of her shaking. Walking to the desk of the pink haired captain he looked back at his vice captain briefly and then forward again. " Greetings Lighting Taichou" he said respectively with a small bow.
" I have the report on my Fuktaichou that you wanted..." he said calmly before talking a small pause. So, he could figure out how he was going to say this he remained silent for a moment. " My Vice Captain informed me that she went to the world of the living to save a soul she felt. But , she stayed longer that she expected because she fell in love with…." the blond got out in a calm and formal tone before stopping at the end of his sentence. " A human" he said finishing his sentence with some worry hinted in his deep voice. It was now the moment of truth that could seal the green haired girls fate. Sighing slightly the third squad captain waited for his chance to help the girl get the chance to live.

| Lightning watched as an obviously timid and shaken young girl entered the room, well she appeared young at the very least. Age was deceptive when it came to shinigami. As Kohana bowed in respect Lightning could see the shakes that were taking over her body, she truly was nervous. A good sign, if she had not been so Lightning would have taken it as a sign of over confidence. At least the female before her knew that she was in trouble, it seemed that that much was known at least. Stuttering as she spoke Kohana greeted Lightning and stood up tall, she was truly trying to give a good impression. Izuru Kira had followed in entering the room shortly after his lieutenant and bowed after Kohana had herself. Lightning gave a small nod of acknowledgement only leaning forward slightly to grasp the folder that sat upon her desk. She was aware of the situation as she had read the information several times, but she wanted to at least seem as though she had not already decided on her decision. Kohana seemed nervous enough as it was, anymore and she was afraid the young girl may have passed out. That would serve as no more than a nuisance and hindrance at this stage.
Lightning listened to Kira as he spoke informing her of the answers he received from his lieutenant. The first part was nothing she did not expect, she had dealt with several shinigami that acted before gaining proper permission. In fact if her memory served her right the last one she dealt with years ago was very similar, a young man had left to defeat a hollow tormenting a young soul. But the next words that were uttered from the captain’s mouth had her raise an eyebrow slightly, Love? The girl had fallen in love? And with a human none the less. Sighing slightly Lightning leant forward in her chair to place her arm on the desk. “Love? Exactly how many times have you left the Soul Society and visited this human?” Lightning was not one to believe that love happened so rashly, if Kohana lcaimed to be in love than she must have seen this man more than once. If it was indeed just the once then Lightning refused to believe what she felt was true love, more likely it was no more than a fleeting infatuation.

| Kohana's eyes lifted off the floor, her bi-colored optics now locked upon the form of the Squad Six captain as the woman addressed her. From the way Lightning spoke, Kohana could her the skeptical tone in her voice. Kohana had a feeling that Lightning didn't believe she was truly in love with Vincenzo. When she was asked how many times she met with him, Kohana's suspicions were made clear. She sighed softly, her hands resting calmly at her sides as she spoke. I have met with Vincenzo only once, Taicho, but I can tell by your disposition that you are skeptical of my feelings for him.... Kohana paused there, taking in a deep breath before exhaling slowly. She was calming herself a little. Her body slowly stopped shaking as she gathered her composure. It's just...you may not be one to believe in love at first site....quite honestly...neither was I. However, after speaking to Vincenzo...I...well....I felt something...just as he did..there was, how you say, a connection. The first kiss...the first embrace...It was something that words cannot describe.... Kohana found her face getting hot as she spoke of such moments, her cheeks painted with a crimson blush. Her heart was beating wildly within her chest, but not of fear. Her eyes remained locked on the woman sitting at the desk. She had a feeling her words wouldn't convince the woman, but only Kohana could know how she truly felt. People were free to assume, but only she knew the feelings within her heart. She stood once again in silence, awaiting the woman to decide her fate. | |

| Izuru looked to his vice captain when she was asked about the number of times she had seen the human boy. As the girl replied about only seeing him once the blonds eyebrow raised slightly. And he wondered how she have fallen in love with after only one meeting. He was sure you could think some was cute at first sight, but not madly in love. The best thing to do would be to get know them first and then decided. This worried the blond slightly and he hope the small girl wouldn’t get her feelings hurt. Izuru kept silent as the girl went on about describing her and the boys meeting and love at first sight. He was kind of lost for words and was sure what to tell her without hurting her feelings.
As he thought about it he wondered how she deal with the boys death. She would live much longer than the human boy. And there was no guarantee that the boy would even remember her or love her when his soul got to the soul society after death. After sighing slightly the blond looked to the pink haired captain wondering what her take would be on this. " Um.. Kohana.." he began but closed his mouth deiced against what he was going to say. " Personally i think you should spend more time with a person before you deiced that. " he finally got out of his mouth. " But , you do when he dies there's no guarantee he will remember you upon entering the soul society" he said in a bored tone. Izu didn’t want to sound like a downer but , he knew the girl needed to know the facts and he hoped she wouldn’t hate him for saying it.

| Lightning listened to the young girl as she spoke of her feelings for this man, despite saying she had only met him once before Kohana truly believed that she loved him. Lightning knew that this girl was mistaken, she was young and confused. Lightning decided that Kohana was mixing Lust with Love, however before she could say that to her Kira decided to speak. It seemed that he too believed that Kohana was wrong in her feelings, as he told her what Lightning was thinking…although much softer. He also raised an interesting point, Lightning’s mind had not thought of the time that the man would die. That was probably due to the fact she knew that they could not be together in the first place. “Indeed your captain raises a valid point. Although it would not matter if he did remember you or not, he will move on. He would find another woman to love of his own race in time. One that would not remain young and youthful watching as his body withers with age. Besides that, I believe that you have your emotions confused, Lust is not love.”
Lightning uncrossed her legs under the desk and then crossed them with the other leg on top to avoid getting a dead leg as she sat upon it. She looked into Kohana’s eyes as she asked her question. “If you were in my position what punishment would you lay upon one that did what you have done?”

| Kohana trembled lightly as she listened to both Izuru and Lightning speak. The fine hairs on her arms and the back of her neck stood on end. She was starting to feel a tad bit irritated in their doubt. She clenched her fists, fighting to hold her tongue while they spoke to her like she was an insolent child. Her frustration was building. Her eyes narrowed as Lightning asked her what kind of punishment that she thought would be fitting for her transgressions. The thing is, Kohana didn't think she did anything wrong. She couldn't hold her tongue anymore. She finally found her nerve. The timid little flower bloomed into a headstrong rose, her thorns now bared. Who are you to judge how I feel? How can you even think you understand the emotional workings of another person? You say it's lust.... You, Lightning-Taicho, are sadly mistaken. Just because you don't feel love towards another, doesn't mean everyone else cannot. In your eyes, I'm just a love sick little girl..... It infuriates me.... I will not let anyone dictate my emotions.... Call me mad if you will.... I could care less.... Kill me... imprison me.... Do whatever you must.... But I will not toss aside my feelings towards Vincenzo. I love him..... and it's more than a physical love.... I do not care whether you believe it or not.... Your view of it is of no importance to me... All that matters is what Vincenzo and I feel. Other opinions are a waste of breath. Nobody will tell me otherwise.... As for when Vincenzo dies.....well...if he does not remember me...then I have no doubt in my mind that we'd fall in love all over again... The body may die, but the soul lives...and within that soul is emotion.... He may not remember me on a physical level, but there will always be that emotional bond... Kohana then paused, falling silent for a moment. She was trembling all over, but not of fear. She was quite upset now. Her eyes drifted towards her captain, then back to Lightning. The two probably assumed she was just a stupid child when, in truth, she was one of the most intelligent souls within the Seitreitei. She knew all too well about the pros and cons of loving a human, but there was no way that simple technicalities were going to stop her. Not now. Not ever. | |

| Izuru blinked a couple in surprised when his vice captain responded to the other captain’s words with an outburst. He couldn’t believe she would have such an outburst like that. The girl seemed so, mink and shy to even do such a thing. The blond was lost for words on what to say to her. She seemed to have taken Lightings and his words into great offence. The captain wasn’t really trying to offend her he was just telling her the facts. True be told he could relate to her to some extent but , no one needed to know that. He was sure a couple of his friends knew because most of them could read his face when he was depressed.
The blue eyed then looked to the pink haired captain wondering how mad she was by this. In his opinion the blond didn’t think that this was going to end well. He then wondered if he should attempt to comfort his vice captain. Letting go a small unnoticeable stressed sigh he walked over to the small green haired girl. " Kohana I don’t think you should I done that" he said so she was only that could hear his words. He didn’t really want the captain mad at him too for defending her. But , he felt the need to tell her that because not all the captains were as calm as he was. Alot of them would probably be offended by even the slightest raise of the voice.
The blond didn’t know what else to say but, he was very worried about her. Not saying anymore to his vice captain he looked back at Lighting wondering what she was going to say.

| The outburst by Kohana took Lightning by surprise, by her means she had been rather lenient in her words to the young girl…apparently it was not a thought that Kohana shared. It truly was a marathon speech with Lightning wondering if it would ever stop, if the young girl would be silenced. Sure she could have demanded she do so, but Lightning thought it better to let people say what it was they wished to say….. After all consequences would follow. In reality Kohana was angry that Lightning and Kira were making assumptions about her feelings, but she too was making many assumptions throughout her speech. Who was she to speak of another’s feelings in such a manner? Only the human male would know that, she can only assume to know the things his hearts seals away. As for Lightning not having loved….well now that was perhaps the largest assumption of them all. Yes, Lightning had never been in a relationship with another however this did not mean her heart alone did not feel the emotions of love.
As the young girls rant finally came to a finish Lightning’s eyebrow was raised and she struggled not to laugh outright. As Kira walked over to his lieutenant to comfort her in her moment of distress Lightning felt some relief to know that he was a caring captain. But that was not enough to distract Lightning from the disrespect and lack of restraint that this young woman had just displayed to one of her rank. Truthfully Lightning was not all that angered by the outburst but she couldn’t just let it go….this girl had just shown that she not only disregards the rules but her superiors also. Leaning back in her chair Lightning folded her arms and looked the young girl in the eyes, Lightning could be rather intimidating when she wished to be…. And even when she didn’t mean to be. “Are you finished? Because quite frankly you are only digging your hole deeper” Lightning was calm and collected, one of her many skills. She was not one to become enraged at such a thing, sure she expected respect to be shown to her but if it was not becoming angry would not solve things….there were other ways to ensure it was displayed in the future.

| Kohana was now trembling again, her heart racing in her chest once more. She had gone too far. She was never one to show disrespect to a superior, but she managed to do so without restraint. She remained silent, her gaze drifting to the floor. She was sure that she had sealed her fate now. Her demise was inevitable. A quiet whimper passed her lips, her eyes clenching shut to hold back the tears that welled up in her eyes. All she could think about now was Vincenzo. His face was all she say behind her closed lids. No soul, living or dead, could understand how she felt about him. At this moment, she wished to disappear and return to his warm and welcoming embrace. Instead, she was trapped in a room that felt like a prison of ice. She shuddered and fought back her tears, unwilling to let the two captains see her at her weakest point. She was ready to accept whatever fate that has been chosen for her, even though death seemed to be the one that was most likely to occur. If she was to die, she'd be glad that she had a chance to experience love beforehand. She now understood why most refused to die without it. She inhaled deeply through the mouth, then exhaled slowly through her nose in an attempt to calm her rattled nerves. On the outside, she now appeared calm, but within, she was utterly terrified of what was to come. She simply remained silent, awaiting final judgement for her transgressions. | |

| Kira made a face at the pink haired captains words to his vice captain. According to the stern captain the green haired girl was digging her hole deeper. The blond captain didn’t like the sound of that and wondered if he actually was going have watch her be killed. The Captain of the six division was in charge of punishments and their decision were always final so, Kira really could do much. He wanted to save his captain to avoid the third division losing someone else. His division always had their habit of losing members for reasons such as these. So , the best he could he wanted to stop that from happening again. But , he also wanted to prevent a young girl's life from being cut short.
Kira could see the girl freak out because of the captains words and it bothered him greatly. He knew he had to say something , but he didn’t want to get in trouble either. " Lightning Taichou perhaps would could give her a warning. And If her boyfriend has spiritual powers we asks him if could keep an eye on the human world telling us about matter we haven’t picked up." He finally suggested in a calm tone of voice hoping that the pink haired women would accept his offer. Even if she modified it to her likely it would still be ok. He just wanted to make sure his vice captain was killed at her age for something like this. If that were to happen they might as well do the same to him for his feelings.

| Lightning’s words seemed to strike the young girl rather harshly as she quickly silenced and remained that way. Her body began to show some signs of distress but the young girl was quick to hide them in an attempt to remain calm and collected. But as Lightning stared into those eyes she could see the fear and sadness within her, this troubled Lightning. It made her decision even harder to make, on one hand she seemed to fear the consequences and show that she knew what she did was wrong… but on the other hand what she got from the girls outburst was that she did not care in the slightest she had broken the rules. Lightning was slightly caught of guard by the words of Kira, she had not expected the captain to speak and defend his lieutenant so after she did what she had just done. But she wasn’t angry he did, she was happy to know that the bonds within the division were there already and that they were strong.
Judgin by his words it seemed he expected his lieutenant to be executed, an almost funny thought as Lightning had no intention of doing something that harsh. “The human knows enough of the Soul Society already, as for the punishment that will be given to you Kohana I had no intention of sentencing you to death. Although you did risk such a punishment through your actions. We are not in the position to be killing anyone, we need to rebuild right now. The question is? Do I need to sentence you to death? Or can you live without breaking the rules again?” Lightning knew that there was no point in being lenient on the punishment if the young woman was just going to break the rules again causing her death.

| Kohana's heart froze the moment Izuru began to speak. She looked towards her captain, surprised at how he was defending her. Her last captain, during her time in squad eight, threw to the hounds and left her to fend for herself after she was accused of treason for helping the Quincies. Kohana wasn't used to having someone who cared enough for his division to defend one of his own officers. She liked the feeling she got from it. When Lightning spoke, Kohana's eyes seemed to widen in surprise. She had not planned on executing her. A huge weight seemed to be lifted from her shoulders. She was happy to know she wasn't going to die, but at what cost? Would she ever be allowed to see Vincenzo again? She decided to find out for herself. She calmed her nerves and gathered her voice, speaking calmly. I do apologize for my previous outburst... I do not know what came over me... I show sincerest gratitute in your decision to let me live. I promise to uphold the rules..but I have a question.... Will I be allowed to visit Vincenzo on my days off as long as I seek permission? Kohana paused there. She didn't want to continue on before she knew the answer to her request. She didn't know if Lightning would allow her or not, but she was going to try for Vincenzo's sake. | |

| Kira was a little disappointed that the pink haired captain turned down his suggestion. But, that feeling went away when the captain expressed her view to the both of them. He was glad to hear that she wasn’t going to kill his vice captain for her actions. It was true that couldn’t really afford to kill any of the new officers for small crimes. The only crime they could kill because of was probably treason. Kira then looked to the captain when she asked the small vice captain if she had to resort to the sentence of death or would she follow the rules. Kira wondered if that meant the girl could not see the boy she loved period. His vice captain seemed to share the same worry because she came out asked.
Izuru personally had no probably with it if she told him where she was going. " I personally have no problem with it Kohana. Just me let know when your going and try not to tell him anything more about the soul society. But , its really up to Lighting Taichou if she thinks its safe. "The blond captain told the green haired girl in calm tone. Outside the door he could her many whispers , but her ignored it. IF it bothered the captain who belong to this office she could say something to the eavesdropping lower ranked officers. After speaking waited quietly to seem what the female captain would say about his vice captain’s words and his own as well. He didn’t really want to see his vice captain un happy but , if Lightning Taichou didn’t want it then, that’s how it had to be.

| Lightning hadn’t the strong willed girl before her to apologise so quickly and eagerly, but she supposed that hearing she was not to be put to death was the cause of her sudden change. Lightning’s gaze flickered to her fellow captain the room as he spoke of having no problem with his lieutenant’s suggestion. He may have been a good captain, one that Lightning respected for the way he treated his squad but she was beginning to think that he may have been to lenient. There was nothing wrong with being understanding but agreeing to permit a relationship between human and shinigami may have been going too far. Even if Lightning wanted to allow the relationship…… she couldn’t in good knowledge permit it. It was then that she heard the murmurs and whispers coming from behind the door of her office. Feeling her anger rising Lightning’s eye twitched slightly as she stood from her seat and slowly walked towards the door, she didn’t speak as she approached it so as not to give her position in the room away.
Lightning did not approve of listening to such private conversations, and she was sure as hell not going to allow it. As she opened the door with such speed that the people on the other side stood no chance of regaining balance several people toppled to the ground and looked up at her with fear in their eyes. They had been caught and they knew they were going to be in trouble for it. Lightning took in each of their faces so she could deal with them later before muttering a single word to them. “Leave” With that single word the scared members of the 6th division scrambled to their feet and ran away faster than she thought they had in them, truthfully she wasn’t sure why they were so scared of her. Perhaps rumours were going around, after all she never treated them in a nasty manner…. Maybe just slightly coldly.
As she closed the door once again she leant her back against it and folded her arms focusing her gaze upon the floor at her feet. “There will be punishment, the details will be sent to your captain once I have decided upon them. But expect time cleaning with the 4th division to be among the list. As for your request to see your ‘love’ I cannot in good faith say I permit such actions. Lightning was stuck in what she could say, on one hand she did not want to forbid her from at least seeing this man but she herself could not say out loud that she permitted it. She hoped that they were reading her words carefully and would get the message she was trying to send through her pronounciation. “Your captain will be the one that you must report to, you are not to leave the seireitei without having official permission. You must stay out of all situations that may break the rules if you are in the human world. This means you are not to allow anyone else to find out about you, nor are you to act in a manner that might draw attention to the Soul Society. If I find out about any breaches not only will you be in trouble but you may risk your captain as well. Remember he is vouching for you, it is because of him that you are able to return to the human world.” Lighting looked to Kira to ensure he understood that he was indeed vouching for his lieutenant’s behaviour in the human world.

| Kohana's heart lightened a bit when Izuru showed approval of Kohana being able to see Vincenzo, with permission. Her light mood changed quickly however when he said that Lightning had the final say. Those words are what she feared. She didn't know what was going on, but watched as Lightning got up from her seat and walked in her direction. She cringed, somewhere in her mind expecting her to be struck. She flinched, her eyes closing tightly, but only felt a light rush of air move past her as Lightning walked to the door of the office and swung it open. She didn't even open her eyes to look, but she heard startled cries and a single word leaving the Rokubantaicho's lips. Her cold voice made Kohana cringe even more.
When 'ightning finally returned to her desk, she began to speak. Her first statement about punishment was to be expected. She knew she wouldn't get off without some form of punishment. Her next statement made Kohana's heart sink. She stated that she did not approve of her going to see Vincenzo. Kohana wanted to speak in protrest, but she knew her place and remained quiet. A wise idea, because Lightning began to speak again. This time, she set the guidelines that Kohana had to follow if she was to leave the Seireitei. Kohana simply nodded after Lightning finished. I understand, Lightning-Taicho. I will uphold these rules. You have my word. She then fell silent, waiting to see what would come next.

| Kira was slightly confused by the captains words. Did she mean that something bad would happen to him if his fukutaichou screwed up. He certainly hoped not , because he worked so hard to get these position. It would certainly plunge his depression deeper if he lost it. Kira looked to his vice captain as he thought of this matter , and really hoped she wouldn’t mess up again. The blond then wondered if it would impolite to ask the other captain go into more detail on what would happen. It would certainly put his mind at ease if he knew he wasn’t going to lost his job. But , he also didn’t want to in trouble if the female captain found it rude. Taking a small deep breathe he deiced to go for it. ' If you don’t mind me asking captain what sort of punishment would happen if she broke the rules again. How would this affect me?" he asked cautiously. As he waited for the pink haired women to answer his question his vice captain. He was glad to here that she was willing to follow lightings words. But , he just hoped she wasn’t lying just to get away with seeing her man. If she did this he would have no choice but to let them do their worst to her. He knew he couldn’t help her get of trouble twice so, for her sake he hoped she would stick by her words.
[ooc: sorry if its short , my muss is going down]

| Lightning was rather surprised yet pleased when Kohana agreed to her terms without protest.. Yet it seemed that neither her nor her captain caught the message hidden behind her words. Her message was something she could not say outright, and therefore had hoped that the two officers were able to understand her words. If they had missed the message then that was their problem, she had offered it and therefore she would not feel bad. “You would not be punished as long as you aware not aware of her breaches of rules, as her captain you would be in charge of keeping an eye on her behaviour. If you neglected to report anything you would find yourself also in trouble” Of course Lightning understood the captain’s worries, he wanted to trust his lieutenant however he was not willing to risk his captaincy upon it. Perhaps he was wiser then she had first suspected.
“Of course shattering the trust between captain and lieutenant would be a horrible punishment alone. I am sure that is not a thing you would take lightly Kohana.” Lightning could see the devastation in the young woman’s eyes upon hearing Lightning was not granting her permission to see Vincenzo… it only confirmed her suspicion that she had indeed not gotten the secret meaning behind her statements. It seemed her pronunciation of words went unnoticed.

| Kohana remained in silence as the two captains spoke to each other. She couldn't blame Izuru for being concerned about the potential punishment that could come if she ever broke the laws of the Seireitei again. However Kohana was smarter than that. She now only planned to go to the world of the living to meet with Vincenzo in a private place, or if she had to go on a mission. She had learned much from the experience of facing punishment, but Lightning said something that couldn't have been more true. The betrayal of trust between a Captain and his or her Lieutenant was truly a horrible thing, and the way Izuru was speaking, it seemed as though he didn't trust her. Kohana bowed her head and closed her eyes, she didn't want to think that to be true, but she could feel it. It crushed her. She didn't speak, nor make a single sound. Her eyes remained shut. She just wanted this to be over. | |

| Izuru was glad to her here there was some way he could not get in trouble. Being the shy girl his vice captain was he hoped to would take to him first. A note might be the easier thing , but that wasn't asking him. He was her captain and she could't say she was just going to do something and just do it. If she did leave a note she should wait for his reply." Hai lightning taichou i shall report if she goes without asking me first." he said in calm tone as he looked to the pink haired women. While really hoping the green haired girl would listen so, he would't have to report her. Kira then listened to the 6th squad captain talk to his fukutaichou about the bond between vice captain and captain. Telling her that breaking it was a horrid punishment enough.
Those words sadden the blond slightly and he imdeaitatly thought of Gin. And wondered if they were both being punished for the betyral. Izuru sighed slightly to himself looking to the ground from the moment. A moment later he looked back in the direction of his vice captain. Even though the another captain had spoken to her she remained. Kira felt kind of bad because the girl probably felt bad about her self." Its ok Kohana kun I'm not mad just try and ask next time k" he said with his hand placed lightly on her shoulder , and a attempt cheerful smile placed on his lips.

| ((OOC: hey guys sorry about the short post but the topic is at it’s end ^^ so you can both post again leaving if you want ^^ then I will lock it when it is my go again.))
Lightning could see that the meeting had reached it’s conclusion, there was no point in drawing it on any further. Part of her was glad to see that perhaps the bond between the captain and lieutenant could be repaired, that the trust might be able to be found once more. “I see no need to draw this meeting on any longer, you understand the terms or your punishment and your captain is supportive of the lenient terms given to you. If there is nothing else you wish to discuss with me or ask me you may take your leave now” Lightning wasn’t kicking them out, she just wanted them to know that she had dealt with all she had to and that if they had nothing more they wished to talk to her about then they may take their leave of her office and return to their day. “And Kohana, don’t worry about the eavesdroppers they WILL NOT spread anything.” Lightning would soon track them down and make sure that they understood her office was not something to listen to, the meetings that took place in there were private and they were to stay that way.

| Kohana's eyes remained shut. Even upon feeling Kira's touch on her shoulder and hearing his words, she remained motionless. She couldn't shake the thought of her captain not trusting her from her mind. It really struck her hard. Her eyes finally opened when Lightning spoke, dismissing the two. Kohana was filled with so much hurt at the moment, she didn't even care about the eavesdroppers that Lightning had mentioned. She bowed to Lightning before speaking, her voice cracking a bit due to the stress of fiighting back tears. Th-Thank you, Lightning-Taicho....I will take my leave now...if I am needed...I will be in the Inuzuri District of the Rukongai....I need...to visit a couple people.... She quickly turned, her eyes back on the floor. A few tears fell from her chin and hit the laquered wooden floor with a faint dripping sound upon impact. She didn't even look at Izuru. She took one step before using her shunpo. In the blink of an eye, she was gone in a swirl of pale pink flower petals. She needed to be alone for a while. | |
