When Lightning Strikes(Cypher vs Lightning) private

The training area a place where those who are Shinigami comes to sharpen their skills. While other come here to prove themselves to their superiors. This is also the place where the Academy Students come to train in which they are watched over by their sensai. But today there arena would be used for a different reason. Cypher and a certain captain have gotten off on the wrong page earlier. Maybe it was because he turned down the Royal Guard or maybe it was because for the passed week he done have a cocky attitude about himself. He really didn’t know but yet he was making his way here. Granted this would be his first time fighting a captain besides the former Captain Commander, but then again he believed in his abilities. So it should go smoothly though he had a feeling it wouldn’t.

The warm rays of the sun licked at the back fo his sun-kissed neck as he made his way towards the arena. Cypher was wearing his standard Haori but underneath it, he wore black camouflage pants, a white t-shirt and black combat boots. He didn’t really know why he wore the Captain Commander Haori, but he guess it was to establish his position to those around him. However there was a deeper meaning behind it, he actually missed his best friend and master. The one person who taught him everything he knew and the only person to ever see his bankai.

Reaching the arena, he would lean his massive 6'5, 245lb frame against the cement wall. His usually slanted red hair was not gelled and laid flat against his head. Tentai, his zanpakuto was resting vertical against his right side, not slanted as most people wore them. Speaking of Tentai, he had been rather quiet though he was always quiet, for some reason he has been more quiet then normal. This didn’t bother Cypher for it usually means that he was about to be taught a new ability but for what form? That he doesn’t know.

Cypher had his limiter on and had no plans of taking it off for he doubt he would need it. Some might say this is cockiness but then again this was who Cypher was. So now he patiently waits for his opponent to show..if they showed at all.

The sun shone down on lightning as she made her way to the training grounds she had been ordered to visit by a message that arrived via hell butterfly....well obviously the butterfly didn't order her to but the message was unsigned so she did not know whom had summoned her. The sun's rays held warmth yet the cool breeze kept the temperature low, perfect weather for Lightning...perfect weather for training. It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold, well some would argue that is was too cold but Lightning would never be heard arguing that fact, she loved the cold. As the training grounds came into view a happy and rather sinister smile crept it's way across Lightning's face as she held back the urge to laugh in joy. So...the cocky and smug acting captain in command had finally made the mistake she had been begging him to make, he had challenged her. This was the chance she had been waiting for, her chance to take him down a notch and knock him off of that pedestal he had insisted he be placed upon.

She would show him the might of the Royal Guard, her might. She felt Zetsu-maru become excited at the prospect of battle, not just any battle but the battle he knew his master had been itching for for so long. Her steps stopped as she stood on the opposite side of the arena facing the red haired giant. Geesh he was tall, even for Lightning he was tall and huge; but as she always said: bigger they are the harder they fall. With her arms crossed she stared down her opponent.

"So you're finally prepared to kiss the dirt....i hope you have at least bought it dinner" Lightning taunted the gigant of a man, it was true she knew no fear. Perhaps that was a bad thing...nah not if you had the strength to back it up.

His red eyes looked in the direction of the footsteps hitting the cement as he notice, no other then the captain of the sixth division show up. Granted he did message her via hell butterfly to show but he never thought she would show up. For it seems she thought she was better then him. If that was the case why didn’t they make her Captain Commander? These thoughts were pushed a side for the time being as he listen to this woman talk. While she was talking he had removed his Captain Haori, and had placed it on a nearby rock, granted not the best of places but oh well. His right hand gripped the sheath of Tentai as he also position it across his back “Is all you going to do it talk?” he said, with an emotionless expression.

The once cocky deamonor about Cypher had vanished and the only thing that was left was a cold-heartless man who only had one thing on his mind was to kill. This is the same vive he had given the captain commander every time they have fought. No longer was he cocky, no longer then he place his self on a high throne. No, he was different...Lightning was the queen and he was the servant who had plan to kill her and take the throne as his own. Standing straight up he would look at Lightning and waited to see if she will make her move. Tentai rested peacefully on Cypher’s back as it knew his master well and new why he didn’t draw the dreaded blade.

Lightning locked eyes with Cypher's her blue orbs staring deep into his own, she could see he was taking this fight seriously. She would have it no other way, she adjusted her gloves slightly before returning her hands to her side. If one listened carefully enough they would have been able to make out a faint howl as tiny glowing light pink particles began to swirl around her arm, first slowly but then with increasing speed. After a few seconds they disappeared leaving behind her zanpaktou in their place. Sure in the heat of battle she can summon the blade in an instant but why rush when delaying time would only serve to irritate the man before more. That was always a good thing.

"I had no intention of merely talking, now why don't you show me what makes you worthy of that throne you seat yourself upon"

He watched her as she summons her xanpaktou to her side. Well now that cleared up one of his thoughts. For he didn’t see a zanpakuto on her, so that explains it. If Cypher wanted to he could have attacked her while she was summoning her blade, which he usually does to most of his opponents. For in the heat of battle no moment should go to waste. Lightning had honor he noticed that for when he had turned around to put his haori in a safe place, she could have attacked him for his guard was down and he was defenseless. Sadly, Cypher didn’t believe in honor in a battle even in a training section. It’s a struggle between two forces each one wanting to kill the other.

A sigh escaped his lips as the woman talked some more. Her voice was boring as hell and if this wasn’t a battle he would have fallen a sleep on her. Speaking of battle, wasn’t there suppose to be one here today? Against someone named Lightning? Seems her replacement was an annoying girl who talked way to much. Oh, no matter the case Cypher will have to deal with this one for now. “Ladies first...unless you are man.” Was all he said, as he waited for her to attack.

Lightning could have laughed at his pitiful attempt to insult her, it definately was not his speciality. "pathetic, i certainly hope your blade is sharper than your wit" Lightning would normally not make the first move, and she would definately never start with shikai, but today she was feeling eager to get this thing started. She wanted to get intot he real action, no dancing around as they dodged each other out of shikai, she wanted to get into the real thing. Where the power was to be found.

"Heel Zetsumaru" Lightning's blade changed colour to that of black as she spoke those words, she was now in her shikai state. Lightning was no master of kido, however she did know many including high level ones at that. "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!" Lightning used hakudo #63, she had a feeling Cypher would not stay still and let it hit him so she prepared for his counter attack.

Cypher wasn’t trying to insult Lightning. That wasn’t his thing. He was more of a fighter then anything and he guess it was time that he prove this fact. An eye brow was raised as Lightning’s zanpakuto took on another form “Shikai eh?” He asked with an emotionless expression. He doubt she would answer is question anyway for it seems she was in the process of using a kido spell. Before lightning could even finish the spell, Cypher would flash step behind her leaving an after-image in his previous path. His right palm would be sent to the lower part of her back. The strike was weak in his standards but if it connected, it would a fraction in her lower spine. If she did counter the strike, a shock wave would come off his hand though this was just his compress spiritual energy which would push her forward a few feet. Though this would only happen if he was countered.

Cypher wasn’t about to let this female case a kido spell that could injury, granted he could have dodge the kido. But would you seriously would you just stand there when someone recites a kido? The normal people would only the increbibly stupid people would. And Cypher wasn’t stupid not by a long shot.

Lightning felt Cypher's reiatsu move, she had a decent idea of where he would have been moving to. She didn't stop her incantation, she had something else planned. A shield of electricity formed behind Lightning blocking Cypher's attacks, sure Cypher was fast she gave him that much but in shikai Zetsu-maru was also helping her out. She didn't need to think of the shield or summon it, it would just occur if she needed it, if Zetsu-maru deemed it necessary. She fought together with her zanpaktou much better than most. Lightning spun around mid incantation trusting in Zetsu-maru's shield completely to defend her from Cypher's attacks. She finished her incantation staring right into Cyphers eyes as a sort of force blow blew her back a few feet. ((ooc: <---the force thing you said emenated from his hand xD))

The shield around Lightning didn’t phrase Cypher that much as the lightning that course through his body was the least of his worries. Though it probably would throw off his nervous system just slightly since once does have electricity running through their body and without one’s brain couldn’t send out commands and the likes. Cypher didn’t blink as he allowed the kido to hit him and sent him back a few feet. His right hand dug into the cement breaking it as he slowed himself down. The kido hurt slightly but again nothing to cry over. Standing up he would pop his neck to the side, as his right hand with drew Tensai from it’s resting place. His stance about not using Tentai had gone out the window it was time for him to have some fun.

“You tried reaching the heavens to only be slammed back to earth, Tentai!” He said in a calm voice as a powerful shock-wave was release from the blade itself. The black metal that was once around Tentai had blew off when the shock-wave happen, spraying thousands of metal shards towards Lightning. These shards could easily pierce through one’s flesh and bone if one wasn’t careful enough to dodge it. The appearance of Tentai had changed as well, no longer was it a sakaboto(reverse-bladed sword) and the once black color of the blade was now a bright golden color. One would be able to look at the blade for the sun reflected off of it very well and could easily blind them if they stared at it too long.

Lightning would notice the rather strong spiritual pressure that was coming from Tentai’s itself. Cypher’s hand that was holding Tentai pointed at Lightning as the zanpakuto extended at a rapid speed. If one would blink they would undoubtably get hit. The speed at which Tentai’s extension ability move was similar to Gin’s Kamishini no Yari but only slightly slower. The blade used the light particles in the air to travel towards the opponent. If Lightning did get hit the Tentai, it would pierce straight through her stomach. If she tried to block it, Tentai would just recoil back at the same speed.

Cypher doubt this would be enough to kill Lightning and he only used it to test her speed. Nothing more or nothing less.

Lightning watched as her kido connected and Cypher decided to use his shikai form after all. The metal shards that flew from his blade as it released into shikai were fast, she only a split second to act or count her wounds as they hit. In the corner of her eye she noticed Cypher raising his hand in her direction, so he was following through with something else was he. She had no idea what it could be, but she figured it would be something that was designed to hit her as she dodged those shards....well that would have been the smart thing to do. Luckily for Lightning her initial form of action was the correct one, for if it had not been she would not have had time to change it before those shards impacted.

Using her unique teleporting ability Lightning was able to dodge the shards completely disappearing into a swirl of cherry blossoms in the process. Those very cherry blossom petals, would normally have hurtled themselves through the air towards Cypher but this time they were met with the metal shards and most of them destroyed upon impact. The few that remained hurtled towards Cypher regardless of their diminished numbers. During her teleport Lightning's reaitsu was completely undetectable until she fully reappeared once more. She made her reappearance directly behind Cypher reaappearing in a shroud of blossom petals like her disappearance. These petals would hurl themselves towards Cypher also and would cut through skin happily if allowed to impact. The close proximity to their foe meant they would be hard to dodge indeed. Using the close proximity she had to Cypher Lightning struck out with a blow from her hand aimed directly at the base of his neck.

If this blow landed it would send a shock coursing through his body upon impact with her electrically charged body, and if the petals met their foe they would slice through skin with ease leaving behind cuts in their wake.

Was he surprised that she dodged the metal shards? Not really for it really wasn’t an attack but just an after shock from his shikai. He watched as the petals destroyed the metal shards and before the petals could reach him light would pierce through them taking them out as well. An eye brow was raised when he couldn’t feel Lightning’s presences, how could someone disappear in thin air? Then it came to him that ability of hers could be just like his unique ability, it masked one’s reaitsu. You may ask where would someone who had disappear, reappear at? The answer was simple and Cypher knew it to but yet he didn’t do nothing...as of yet.

As the reaistu of Lightning return he didn’t even try to dodge. Cypher knew what he was about to do and knew the risk behind it. If it didn’t work he would get cut and whatever else she had plan. But if it did work...well lets just say it would be painful for her. At the last second before Lightning’s hand reached his body, 4ft long golden spikes would protrude out from his body in an attempt to make Lightning a living pin cushion. The spikes would protruded from ever angle of his body similar to that of a puppy fish. He was allowed to do this by the light that the sun was given off, knowing that he could defeat her from a far, he had to defeat her in close quarters.. He wondered how she was going to dodge this attack for like her own attack attempt his left hardly any room to dodge.

Part of Lightning had a feeling that Cypher wouldn't just let her land the blow, she was right. Just before Lightning could touch Cypher and land her blow Lightning could sense something strange, she couldn't tell what was going to happen but she knew something was. Before she could have attempted aborting the attack for safety spike protruded from Cyphers body much like that of a puffer fish. Lightning acted in a split second, her instincts had taken over and granted her an action to perform. Lightning instinctually used Kido39. Enkosen (円閘扇, Arc Shield) which summoned a shield of condensed reiatsu. She didn't need the incantation to perform this particular Bakudo, which had its advantages in this situation where speed was required but at the same time she knew this simple shield would not be enough to hold of those spikes. Lightning took the mere second the shield held against the spikes and drove her backwards with their force to shunpo the hell away from him.

Lightning stopped a safe distance from Cypher and furrowed her eyebrows, what on earth was that? she hadn't seen someone look that similar to a puffer fish before. Lightning smiled slightly as her reiatsu became completely masked, this was one of her special abilities.

"a lone wolf may take a stand, but only the pack shall know victory" And with those words spoken three large tornado like swirls of cherry blossoms appeared around Lightning, they formed into three clones of Lightning herself and due to her current state they appeared in shikai. Their reiatsu was completely masked like Lightning's was due to her ability, they were in nearly all aspects perfect clones of herself.

Lightning and her 4 four clones shunpo's away together and took turns to appear around Cypher as they attacked him with a barrage of flurry's. Clone 1 appeared in front of Cypher slicing vertically at it's foe before shunpo'ing away once more, clone 2 appeared behind Cypher stabbing out in an attempt to impale Cypher before it would also shunpo away. And in unison Lightning and the 3rd clone appeared, lightning was to the right of him (not that he would know it was her XD) and the 3rd clone to the left. The clone attacked horizontally with it's blade while Lightning fired several cero like blasts towards cypher from a safe distance. (<---actually not cero but her ability to fire lightning)

How in the hell did she dodge that attack? Cypher had timed it perfectly that there was no room to dodge it and even if she did manage to, she would have still got hurt. But, no this wasn’t the case somehow she was able to make a shield around her form before the spikes could even hit. Unless her subconscious could do this automatically then it wouldn’t be possible. Not matter though, Lightning will see this ability again but not in the same manner and the next time she won’t be able to dodge for Cypher had already planned the ending to this little battle. Anyway, the spikes would disperse right after hitting the shield Cypher would disperse as he turned around just in time to see her shunpo away. Before she could even smile Tentai’s shot towards her at amazing speed aiming for her stomach once more, before retracting.

This action, if not dodge or counter would cause a hesitations in Lightning’s plan allowing Cypher enough time right behind her, in which case his right palm would be inches from her back as he fired Hado Number 33: Sokatsui(Blue fire, Crash Down) at point blank range. The blast if connected would engulf her and cause major damages. Granted Cypher disliked kido but he is adapted enough with it to use some of them without incantation with level 48 being the highest. Some might ask how was this possible? Cypher had attacked Lightning before she had the chance to mask her reaistu, thus making that ability useless. Not only that events that would happen after she had masked her reaistu wouldn’t have the chance to happen either.

((OOC: o.O my posts my beautiful post wasted xD lol jokes just had to say that xD))

Lightning had managed to get away from those spikes but unfortunately for her another attack was heading her way. She dodged the attack from his extending blade with relative ease, it may have been fast but the attack had only a limited range of attack outside of impaling. Lightning felt Cypher's reiatsu appear behind her, she heard Zetsu-maru tell her to duck. Despite her body wanting to desperately block or dodge or anything but just simply duck Lightning trusted Zetsu-maru with her life....luckily as it could easily be on the line here. She ducked completely and rolled forward. She was somewhat shocked by the bright red light she saw travel over her head, she was expecting to have been attacked with a swing of his sword or a blow from his fist...but cypher had actually used a kido. Well now wasn't that interesting.

Lightning used a shunpo to exit the forward roll and appeared a hundred metres from Cypher. Lightning clicked her fingers and used her ability to completely mask her reiatsu in the instant before she spoke. "Kneel" This would cause her foe to become immobile but in cyphers case perhaps it would only hinder him severely. Only time could tell.

A rare smile etched across Cypher’s face as he saw her rolled out of the way of the kido blast. She was good and no wonder the Royal Guard had recruited her. However the way Cypher was fighting would make one wonder why the Royal Guard had even looked at him. For his attacks was not time properly and it seem like he had wasted most of his movement. Yeah it was true, Cypher had been toying with Lightning since the start of this battle but that will not be the case anymore. His eyes looked in the direction of Lightning when she reappeared a hundred meters from him as a smirk spread across his face.

Even though her reiatsu had been masked, she gave away her location when she spoke that one word. Cypher felt the gravity around him increased as he just stood dare with that smirk on his face “Are you going to attack me? Or are you afraid?” was all he said, as his head was hanging down. Unknowing to Lightning, Cypher had just caused his lip to bleed for a reason that will be shown in the following events to come.

"Shred!! Zetsu-maru!" A large yellow bolt of electricity hit the ground in front of Lightning, leaving a large yellow Wolf in it's wake. This wolf was infact a manifestation of electrical charge, and not to mention her zanpaktou spirit. The wolf let out a howl before charging towards Cypher at incredible speeds, so fast only a blur would have been visible as he passed through Cypher's body 4 times. After finishing his attack Zetsu-maru bounded back towards Lightning like a puppy that had learnt a new trick, sitting infront of her as she crouched down he recieved a pat on his nose as lightning raised the wolf's nose to her own. "Good Boy" And with the praise Zetsu-maru dissapated once more. Lightning readied herself as the effect of her gravitational ability would now be wearing off.

Cypher’s eyes didn’t even look in Lightning’s direction and even when the wolf charged towards him. The only thing that he felt was when the wolf moved through his body four times. Cypher began to cough up blood as his head slowly raise and looked at Lightning “That’s it?” Was all he said with a smirk. His shirt had been blown off do to the wolf’s assault and his hair was kind of burnt on the edges, but overall Cypher felt great. A sigh escaped his lips as he felt the effect of her previous ability wearing off. Oddly enough he began to bounce on the balls of his feet and if one didn’t know any better, he would look like a boxer.

As the blood from his lip oozed down his bare skin. His left hand tighten it’s grip back around Tentai “You awake ole’ boy?” He asked and Tentai response was a small shock wave coming from it. “Good, now lets let’s have some fun!.” He said, as his body began to sway from side to side, and vanish in thin air. Tentai would be fired at the chest part of Lightning as Cypher would appear in front of her. Afterwards his body would lean to the left as he appeared behind her and fired Tentai at her spine before reappearing in his earlier location. How was this possible you ask?

From the beginning of the battle Cypher has been using shunpo in it’s traditional way. But that is no more, he will be using it in a way that he created. Just like the Drunken Fist style, the way he moved become unpredictable and in stead of taking a forward step to us shunpo, he only needed to side step or sway. The path he took to reach Lightning was not in a straight line but in a zig zag pattern, making where he was going to attack unknown till he hit them.

“Lightning, isn't today a beautiful day for a battle. Are you ready to begin?.” He said, his eyes have lighten and there was an eerie calmness about him. The once serious Cypher had now been replaced with a free spirited, rebel who would take any chance if it means destroying the enemy. A stab in the chest meant nothing to him if it means he could grab the opponent and crush their skull end. So now the true battle begins....

Lightning shunpo'd away to dodge the blade that hurtled towards her chest, her rmasked reiatsu meant that Cypher would not know her direction as he could not track her movements. She shunpo'd several times, each time only reappearing before disappearing once more. She had hit him well, the damage had to have been done. The electricity that had coursed through his veins should have been causing his limbs to become somewhat hard to use. The effects had to be there, she just couldn't see them yet. She shunpo'd away to a safe distance, one where his blade could not reach her extended or not. She smiled as she began an incantation for her ability "a lone wolf may take a stand, but only the pack shall know victory" three large tornado like swirls of cherry blossoms appeared around her, leaving in their wake three identical clones of Lightning. Their own reiatsu was masked by her ability still in effect. With a motion of her hand the three clones shunpo'd and appeared around Cypher in turns barraging him with attacks. clone 1 attacked from the front, clone 2 the left and clone 3 the right. (after one attacks and shunpo's away the next appears etc) Lightning was beginning an incantation for a kido while the three kept Cypher busy. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!"

This fight was getting boring on so many levels that it wasn’t funny. For Lightning was running away like a little girl, then again she was a little girl in his eyes. And like any good father who would allow his daughter to win at a game or such. Yes, Lightning was faster then him but for the most part his usage of the light in the area was child’s play for he had gotten into the interesting stuff. Lightning wanted to play the long-distance game with Cypher eh? Two can play at this game if so needed. But Lightning haven’t given him a reason to do so, yet. His eyes would divert in the direction of Lightning and noticed the smile on her lips. Seriously does she think, that she had the upper hand on him? If so she must check herself and think real hard on his ability to manipulate light. For it is one of the most dangerous thing to control and manipulate.

However, Cypher had already thought of various usage for Lightning’s own unique ability. If she would have used it correctly, she could have killed him in the beginning. By form a net of static electricity in a wide enough base that it would be hard for even Cypher’s to dodge. There was other ways that she could have used her ability, but Cypher wasn’t hear to give advice. And here we go again, three tornado they disappear and leave three clones. Unless they do something special, he had an idea of where they would attack from. Clone A; would be met with Tentai piercing through it’s skull before it even had the chance to shunpo away. His eyes had never left Lightning’s as it was watching her mouth for movements.

One of who has to say the incantation for a kido, there lips must be moving. Cypher knew this and once they lips stopped. At the exact moment when her lip stop moving, Cypher would shunpo away from his previous location. Dodging the beam of lights that was aimed to immobilize him. He recognized the kido spell and knew what exactly it was meant to do. Never again, will he allow her to immobilize him again. Cypher wonder how much longer her reaistu mask would last. And he always wonder how much longer it would be before, she had to go bankai. Though it didn’t matter to him, for it should be interesting to say the least.

Swinging Tentai in a wide forward slashing manner, an arch of light would come from the blade and speed towards Lightning aiming at her midsection. If connect the arch would create a three inch gash. At the same time two javelins which was made of light and had been solidified would appear above Lightning. One over each shoulder, the javelins would shoot downward in an attempt to pierce through Lightning’s shoulder blade and to pin her down. Though Cypher doubt this would work, but that then again that wasn’t his goal.

((OOC: keep in mind the clones are still masked so their reiatsu is undetectable, how would he have known where the clone would appear?? and btw they can defend themselves xD they can block and dodge and what not so yeah they have the same abilities as lightning herself just weaker. So technically i could have had that clone use the shield and not die but that would have destroyed that post you worked so hard on so i wont do that....instead i will let it go ^^ haha just remember not to auto hit the clones as they are smart so i will control them :p ))

After the first clone met with a sudden end the other two diverted from their initial plan of attacking him directly one after the other. Instead they decided to try another tactic. As Cypher swung his blade sending an arc of light towards Lightning the two remaining clones attacked again. The first clone attacked from behind using her blade and the second shunpo'd in front of him after the arc had already left. (remember they have masked reiatsu so you cant sense where they appear) Therefore avoiding it's damage. Using the opening created as Cypher finished his swing the clone lunged forward with a devasting upper slash to his torso. Lightning mentally sighed as the kido she used missed her target, this was getting annoying. Lightning easily shunpo'd away from the arc of light that cypher sent towards her. Rolling to dodge the two javellins of light coming down from the sky towards her Lightning was really beginning to get tired of these games. She wanted to get up close and fight but this man and his spikes would have nothing of it.

Lightning decided to make the most of her masked reiatsu and shunpo'd up close to Cypher as the last clone finished it's attack. standing but a few metres from Cypher Lightning fired one of the kido's she need not recite an incantation for, she would use the close distance and her sudden and unpredictable appearance in front of him to get the upper hand. She used: 30. Shitotsu Sansen (嘴突三閃, Beak-Piercing Triple Beam) Forming a golden triangle with one's finger, it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of an equilateral triangle. Cypher would have dificulty getting out of this one.

Did he mention that he really hated clones? Anyway, there was no use in trying to sense where the clones where the other two clones would come from, so he did the next best thing. The photons in the surrounding area began to bend to Tentai’s will, as an golden armor was formed around Cypher’s frame. The armored covered every each of his body, leaving on his eyes visible. Protruding from the armor where spikes similiar to the shield he had used prior, only thing different is the spikes where more smaller then they once where. This happen instansteous after he had released the arc of light. The armor was strong enough to withstand constant attacks from shikai before cracking, in which cause the crack piece would be repair due to the large amount of photons in the air.

Tentai was also covered in an armor, but for a different purpose. Cypher didn’t do nothing as he felt the force of the first clone hitting him on the back, in which case a light would form around the clone’s sword and solidify around it making removing the sword quiet a task.(This is it still attack). If the second did go through with it’s attack, it’s hand would be in a pretty bad shape due to the spikes that left no openings. The only openings being on the bottom of his feet and the palm of his hand. Cypher wondered how the clones where going to try and attack him now since it they did try, it would be like attacking a needle bed.

Cypher didn’t try to figure out where Lightning was going to show up at. Though he had some guesses but then again, sometimes one must think outside of the box. When Lightning appeared in front of him, Cypher would shunpo a few meters away from Lightning, dodging the attack. For now the armor Tentai and him will stay just in case her little clones tried to attack again. Though after seeing the ability once, Cypher had already figure out the duration of the clones. So now the only thing he had to do was not get hit by the clones and everything else will go smoothly at least that how he planned it.

He wondered if Lightning so smart, she would have figured out that Cypher had yet to execute many attacks. For the most part it was dodge, dodge, attack, dodge, dodge, defend/dodge. Of course there was a reason behind this, it was light a game of chess. So he wondered what Lightning would do next.
