Vlad smirked. "that does seem to be the million dollar question doesn't it?" He joked, his mouth open in a sharp toothed grin. He noticed Valentina lapping at her own blood, and felt his hand twitching for some unknown reason. He licked his lips, and smirked again. Vlad saw her cross her arms, he himself resting his behind his back, over his shoulders. He cracked his neck and sighed. "Well this is becoming quite... dull."

Val hiffed and placed her hands on her hips. Hmph....you're right...this is getting quite dull... we need excitement...chaos...and a wee bit of pleasure... She smirked and brought her hand to the zipper of her top, tugging it down ever so slightly before stopping with the zipper half way down. She then took a couple steps closer to Vlad and slashed at his chest, her razor sharp claws glancing off the metal chain, leaving gauge marks in the metal. She smirked and looked over the now scarred chain. Hmm...normally I could tear through metal like paper....looks like my claws need sharpening...clawing up James' back must have dulled them.. She spat in disgust. Mr. High and Mighty is trying to weaken me...

Vlad smirked, both eyebrows raised as Valentina lowered his zipper after speaking. Vlad again licked his lips, as Val got closer to him. as she clawed the chain of his Zan he chuckled in a surprised manor, at the fact that she had cut it so easily, though he supposed he should have expected it from someone so obviously more powerful than himself. As she spoke of James Vlad sighed in exasperation. "Now now now, let's not bring him up. He isn't here, so he is no longer important." Vlad said his smirk once again affixed to his face, the hungry gleam still alight in his eyes.

Val huffed. Vlad was completely right. James wasn't present anymore. The uptight fool had more important things to do rather than serve as a third wheel to this little get together. She glanced back at Vlad, her golden yellow optics giving off a bright amber glow. In a split second, her hand came up, her claws aiming for the right side of the male's neck. She had an urge to smell blood, her excitement rising more and more at the promise of the crimson aphrodesiac. She had no plans to harm the male in any way, shape, or form. She just wanted blood. She was the embodiment of Carnal Desires. Her animalistic nature drove her to fulfil the carnal urges. Blood, pain, pleasure. She loved them all at their extremes. Violence, sweet violence...

Vlad saw Valentina's hand come up, but he didn't move, didn't react as she clawed his neck. He felt the blood flow down the side of his neck and wondered what she was planning on doing next, and he smirked, not seeming to feel any pain from the gash on his neck. he licked his rapidly drying lips and actually used a drop of his own blood to moisten them, a small smile on his face now, his eyes still gleaming with his urge to have Valentina. he ran his tongue through his teeth and it was cut on the sharp points of them, and he spit out blood, his mouth still filling with the crimson liquid.

Val felt her claws impact his neck, the razor sharp appendages tearing easily through his hierro. Blood seeped from the gaping wounds, the scent sending a shiver through her. Her excitement was growing. She flicked the blood from her claws, then lapped up the rest that stained them. Then, as soon as the mood was set, it was destroyed. Her ears twitched. She noticed the male cutting his own tongue on his teeth. Val wrinkled her nose in annoyance. She hated it when her prey made themselves bleed. It took away her fun. She huffed and turned her back to the male, starting back towards Las Noches. Come find me when you're ready to let me have all the fun, meat-boy... In that moment, she had vanished in a static blur. She wanted to go find Tino, the only male in Hueco Mundo who was capable of pleasing her.

Haruin stood over the Decima espada, " News sire. You are being promoted, to octava. " He towered over Vlad and owuld have given the news sooner, but the presence of Valentina and James would have killed him. " I will not stay as your fraccion aas your already know. Instead I assume I will be considered the Decima until the new one comes, which should not be long. " He did not know this for sure, but again he was assuming. A second Haruin appeared, " You will only be my master for a little longer. " A third, " Anything you wish to say? " A fourth, " To do? " A fifth, " Maybe a game of chess? "

Vlad stood there dumbstruck as Val left. He stared after her not at all understanding what had just happened. He shook his head and pounded his fist into the side of his leg, before bringing his right hand up to his neck, wiping off some of the blood, before shaking his hand, scattering droplets everywhere. He swore loudly into the air, still confused as to why she suddenly left, had he done something wrong? He hadn't done anything. He spit out more blood, and groaned remembering Valentina's words. She thinks I did this on purpose. FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!

He dropped to his knees and punched the ground repeatedly, gathering more power into each hit, until he had a medium sized hole in front of him. He panted, and steamed, literally, from his self anger. He had been so close, yet so unattainably far away. He sensed that Haruin was approaching and he turned to face his Fraccion. "What do you want? Can't you tell I'm not in a good mood?" He shouted at the old arrancar, his emotions getting the better of him.

When Haruin had delivered his news all of Vlad's anger towards him vanished, replaced by joy. He stood up and placed a hand on the taller arrancars shoulder. "Your news is most welcome, you have snapped me from my depressive state. Though..." He trailed off again staring towards the direction Valentina had gone. "a game of chess couldn't hurt I suppose Haruin. I assume you have a board?" He asked slowly turning his head back to his fraccion.

Haruin smiled, " Now child. Who needs a board. " He raised his walking stick high into the air, " Succumb to Padre Tiempo! " In a flash of light he was quite ripped and had regained his youth. He looked over at the Octava, his power now equal to that just below the Decima Espada. His stick has become a large bone blade.

He grinned as the entire landscape changed to a large scale chess board. and clones filled up his side of the board, he stood in the king spot. " Let the game of true chess begin! "
