| Nobody could have asked for a more perfect evening. The air was calm and cool, yet not too cold. It felt no warmer than seventy degrees. The sky was crystal clear, no clouds in sight. The navy blue heavens were dusted by millions of stars that shimmered with a beautiful white glow while the now full moon rose high into the evening sky, it's silvery glow serving as a guiding light to those who traveled the empty streets of Karakura at this time of night. A truly perfect evening, yet she spent it alone.
She walked down an empty sidewalk after leaving her bar. She decided to close it early since it was a sunday night. From the moment she stepped outside and felt the lush air envelope her, she knew that she wasn't ready to go home. Not just yet. She made it a few blocks down the sidewalk, then took a sharp left turn. She took a detour, heading towards Karakura park. She passed empty buildings and scantily populated sidewalks until she arrived at her chosen destination. She inhaled deeply, taken aback by the refreshing scent of the air. She smiled a soothing smile, then ventured deeper into the park until she arrived at the center. She dropped her bag onto the ground before seating herself in the plush grass. Her seafoam green eyes instantly drifted back up towards the moon. She felt the blades of grass tickling her thighs as she sat, internally cursing herself for choosing to wear a skirt. Her right hand slowly drifted up, then lightly flicked her soft magenta hair back over her shoulder, letting the silken strands tumble down her back, the tips fanning out slightly behind her. She began to hum a quiet tune to herself, one her mother used to hum to her when she was a child. A soothing tune, befitting of such a perfect night. As she hummed, the trees began to sway while a gentle breeze flowed through, carrying Moka's tune in it's intangeable arms. |

| After another drag of the cigarette, it was amply tossed to the ground, Enzo's finely polished dress shoes trampling it as he continued to make his way through the park. A duffel bag in his left hand, he carried new equipment being loaned out to him by Abstergo. They were sending him on a new mission in the morning and he needed to get acquainted with the technology he'd be using. This same technology also made him a target to other spiritual beings, as it gave off a strong spiritual presence, in order to lure other beings to it. The machine was off at the moment, but even in its powered down state, it still gave off a faint presence, which could still lure weak spiritual beings. Though he was surely not intimidated by this, he found it easier to avoid unnecessary conflict, hence traveling through the park at such a late hour. It had been a long day, he hadn't yet eaten and sleep was his main objective.
As he continued on, a gentle breeze enveloped him and passed just as quickly as it had came. On the breeze, a sweet scent traveled as well, the possibility of this scent belonging to human was highly probable. Enzo's assumption was proved correct as he looked forward, a woman sitting in the clearing of the park. It was out of the ordinary for another human, besides himself, to be out at this hour within the park, but from the looks of her, she was quite relaxed. As he got closer he called out to the woman, "It's quite a view, isn't it?" He figured that some small talk would ease the awkwardness of him having to walk pass her.

| Moka soon fell silent as the cross pendant that hung from her neck began to glow a faint blue hue. She blinked a couple of times and brought her right hand up to grip the crucifix. The pendant only glowed when a Quincy's spiritual pressure was detected. She looked around, curious of why her cross was reacting the way it had been lately. She softly sighed and shifted her gaze back to the moon when a voice called out from behind her. She paused, then glanced over her left shoulder. She spotted a male approaching her. She sensed something within him, but couldn't quite put a finger on it. As he drew closer, her crucifix glowed brighter. Perhaps this man possessed a Quincy's spiritual pressure. She smiled politely towards him, not wanting to come off as rude of stuck up. She then remembered his words and simply nodded. Yes.. It's absolutely breathtaking. So calm...soothing... It eases even the most restless of souls. Truly a view worth taking in.. She spoke in a soft, gentle voice. Moka was always a gentle person. She saw everyone as a friend until told otherwise, and this man was no different. |

| Enzo was surprised by the woman's reply. He had expected simply a "Yes" or an "Mhmm". It was obvious she was a very friendly person, something that was quite rare around Karakura nowadays. She was also quite relaxed, seeing as all she did was smile as he walked up behind her. Either she knew how to defend herself, or she was oblivious of her surroundings, and judging from her reply about the view, the "oblivious" option was out of the question. He continued to walk forward until he was now to the right of her. "You're right...it does have a soothing quality to it" He took in the view as he continued to speak, "So, you come out here often?" | |

| Moka took her hand from the glowing crucifix and placed it on her lap with her other hand. Her soft green optics shifted from the sky, falling back on the male who now stood at her side. She heard his words and nodded lightly. I come here quite often, especially on nights like this. There is something about the surroundings that seem to make the stress of a hard day fade with the wind. What about you? It's odd seeing another person out here at this time of night. She was still perplexed with why he caused her cross to react to his presence. There was definately more to him then what met the eye. |

| His gaze fell from the sky as he awaited her reply, and with just a glimpse he managed to see the glow of her crucifix. It was something that verified his hunch, that she was also spiritually aware, yet, he couldn't tell what exactly she was. She was very adept at masking her reiatsu, though the crucifix itself leaned him more towards the option of her being a quincy. For a breed that was supposedly extinct, he had managed to run into more than his share of them, though, none had ever been quite as beautiful as this one.
He listened to her reply as she spoke it and gave a light chuckle, his gaze shifting back to the mesmerizing night sky above. "Well, I was just passing through, headed for home...yet it seems I've been entranced by the same sights as you." He smiled lightly, keeping his gaze to the skies.
