Warmness on the Soul [Private - Vincenzo]

He couldn't help but smile as he watched her drink some of her tea and taste the skittles. She seemed to be now enjoying herself a bit more. He loved to see her smile, it was a sight that he wished to see more often. As she laid her head against his shoulder,he smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, holding her closer as she leaned against him. She was so warm, and having her in his embrace was one of the best feelings he had ever had in his life. His gaze fell onto the movie screen, almost forgetting it had even started. He had heard this was supposed to be a scary movie, and he loved his horror films, though, he had forgotten to ask which genre Kohana would have preferred. He held her a bit tighter as this thought came to mind.

Kohana softly smiled upon feeling Vincenzo's arm around her. She lightly nuzzled him, the scent of his cologne filling her nostrils. She blushed and quickly turned her attention to the film. She hated it every time a figure appeared up close on the screen. It made her jump and bury her face in Vincenzo's side. Her delicate hands gripped his shirt tightly, her body lightly trembling. She was quickly calmed by Vincenzo's embrace getting tighter. Just knowing he was by her side was all she needed to calm her. She exhaled slowly, her grip on him loosening. She smiled and calmed a bit more, her attention now back on the film.

He could feel she was beginning to calm as he held her closer, smiling as he continued to watch the film. His free hand reached for his cup and he began to slowly sip his soda as he watched. His head cocked a bit to the side as he rested himself against her as well, nuzzling her a bit as they continued to watch the movie together. The time he was able to spend with her was the best, and he reveled in every second.

Kohana blushed upon feeling Vincenzo's head on hers, he now lightly nuzzling her while the two watched the film. She glanced up and him, her hands gripping his shirt a little tighter. She smiled and glanced back at the screen just as it faded to black, a list of random names now scrolling from bottom to top on the screen. Kohana blinked, watching curiously before whispering to Vincenzo. Is this...part of the movie, Vincenzo..? It's rather dull... She blushed again, unsure if he'd take her comment as insulting. She hoped he wouldn't see it as such. She was just simply curious. Her hand fumbled for her cup, soon finding and bringing it to her lips. She took a few more sips, the taste now a bit dull and somewhat watered down. She wrinkled her nose, but drank the last little bit until nothing came from the straw but irritating slurping noises. She set the empty cup back in its holder, then glanced back at Vincenzo, waiting to see what they'd be doing next.

Enzo watched as the screen soon faded to black, the credits now rolling. Many people were now getting up and making their way towards the exits. Enzo often waited until a majority of the people left the theatre before he got up to leave, as he was not a fan of having to push through people. As the theatre started to clear, he listened to Kohana, laughing slightly, "Yea, this tends to be the dullest part of the movie..we should actually get going. What do you feel like eating?" He smiled and hugged her closer as he looked down at her.

Kohana watched as people began to leave the theatre. Her eyes squinted slightly as the lighting beganto change from sheer darkness to dim illumination. She then smiled up at Vincenzo as he hugged her closer after asking her where she wanted to go eat. She wasn't all too sure herself. She didn't know what kind of restaurants the world of the living had. She doubted that they had anything like the Seireitei's tea houses and food stands. She thought for a moment, then glanced back up at Vincenzo with a slight smile. Maybe some place with sushi...like grilled Unagi or onigiri....and maybe some real tea... She blushed slightly, her suggestion being a bit vague, but maybe he'd know where to take it from there.

"Hmm..." He thought a bit as she spoke, wondering where they could go as she spoke about what she wanted. He knew there had to be a place that served all those traditional Japanese delicacy's, it was just he himself have never had any of it before. Being from Italy, he was much more accustomed from the food he ate there traditionally, and luckily, Karakura had an Italian restaurant. He thought a bit more and he remembered exactly the place. There was a place called "Shabu Shabu" it was known for its Japanese cuisine. He smiled at the thought. She could show him something new tonight as well. He slowly stood and extended his hand to her, "Lets get going, I know just the place"

Kohana smiled as Vincenzo stood and offered her his hand while he spoke of knowing just the place to go. She reached her hand out, grasping his before rising from ther seat. Using her free hand, she smoothed her dress out, it getting a bit wrinkled from sitting for so long. She let out a yelp in surprise as her seat shot back up into it's folded position. She stumbled and fell against Vincenzo, gripping his shirt yet again as she tried to maintain her balance. You humans....have so many strange things.... Her words were slightly stammered out, her trembling free hand reached to grasp her cup. She didn't care where she was, she was never one to leave trash behind. A..wastepaper basket..? she questioned, looking up and Vincenzo with a curious expression. Her other hand gripped Enzo's tightly while she calmed herself again. Often times, she found herself hating her timid nature, yet she just couldn't stop being who she was. There was a silence that fell between them, it soon being broken by a low grumble echoing from within Kohana's torso. She blushed dark red, her arm resting over her stomach. I...I must be hungry... she muttered, somewhat embarrassed that he had heard that.

As she stood his eyes widened as she let out a yelp and fell against him, holding her close while he tried to figure out what the problem was. He realized she had been surprised by the folding chair and smiled as she spoke. He was about to walk of her out of the theater before she reached back down and picked up her empty cup, asking where the trash can was located. He realized he was about to leave his cup and the empty bag of skittles. He usually just left his trash where it was at, never being bothered with throwing it away, but he figured it would make a better impression to do as she did, plus she was right. He picked up his empty cup and candy bag with his free hand and began to walk them down the stairs. It was quite for a little bit before he heard a grumbling sound. He knew all too well what that sound meant, "Hehe, lets hurry and get to the restaurant, you must be starved." He smiled and threw his garbage into the trash can before walking her out to the lobby of the theaters and finally outside.

Once outside he stopped for a moment, trying to remember where exactly he saw this place at before. "That's right.." Holding her hand a bit tighter, he began to walk her down the sidewalk. It was very late now, the street lights illuminating the way. The crowds of downtown were beginning to dissipate, even the busy traffic had begun to slow. He looked to Kohana as they continued walking, "So how much longer do we have until you need to head back?" He hated asking, but he wanted to make sure they had enough time.

Kohana blushed and nodded when he mentioned that she must be starving. She hadn't eaten since earlier in the morning. She followed Vincenzo's actions and threw her empty cup in the trash can, then followed alongs side him as he lead her out into the now virtually empty streets of Karakura. She paused with him while he thought for a moment, then heard him say something before they continued on. She gazed up at the streetlights, their amber glow illuminating their path. She then felt Vincenzo's eyes on her, she now looking back at him. She blushed a little at his question, then promptly answered. I have to report back to the Seireitei tomorrow afternoon..the same time that I arrived here... I am only allowed twenty-four hour visits right now.. She gripped his hand a little tighter, wondering how he'd react.

He sighed a bit as he heard her answer. He had to admit, he was a bit disappointed by her answer. They only had a day to spend together. If he could have had it his way, she wouldn't have to go back at all. Though, he smiled slightly. If anything, he needed to be happy he even got to see her again. He needed to think of what he did have, instead of what he didn't, and right now he had her and that was all there was to it. He'd make sure he made the most of tonight. He smiled a bit wider and looked to his right and sure enough he saw the sign. "There it is, lets get inside." He stepped forward and opened the door for her as they both walked in.

He took a look around and noticed that it was fairly empty with about five other couples in this huge restaurant. The decor was what one would expect to see within a traditional Japanese establishment. Vincenzo felt a bit out of his element, but if this was something he could experience with Kohana, he was alright with it. The hostess stood behind a podium and greeted them. "Hello, is it just the two of you?" Enzo nodded, "Yes, it's just us." The woman picked up two menus before telling them to follow her. Enzo walked with Kohana back to the tables and pulled out her chair for her and waited until she took her seat before he sat down. The waitress placed the menus in front of them and soon asked what they would like to drink. He was inclined to ask for yet another Dr.Pepper, but he waited until Kohana ordered wanting to try whatever she chose.

Kohana heard his sigh, and had a feeling that he wasn't pleased with her response. She knew how he felt. She wanted to stay longer too, but rules are rules. Breaking them again could lead to her execution, and that wouldn't benefit either of them. She continued to follow Vincenzo down the streets until they arrived at a restaurant that looked much like one of the more sophisticated eating establishments in the Seireitei. She followed Enzo inside, listening to him talk to yet another woman who soon guided the two to a table. She looked at Vincenzo curiously as he pulled her chair out for her. Another human custom, she assumed. She smiled and sat down, sliding the chair back towards the table while Enzo sat next to her. She looked up at the woman as she asked what they wanted to drink. Kohana looked through the menu, not used to ones like the establishment's. She then noticed a familiar tea on the menu, one she adored. She smiled and gave her drink order. The raspberry white tea, please.. She then glanced at Enzo, curious of what he'd order.

He looked at the waitress as Kohana soon gave her order, "I'll take the raspberry white tea as well". He smiled and turned his gaze back to Kohana as the women left to get their drinks. He held her hand as he looked to her and leaned in kissing her lips quickly before he moved back. "Hehe, I couldn't resist anymore", chuckling lightly as he spoke.

Kohana smiled when Vincenzo ordered the same as her. She then blushed as he took her hands while the woman walked away. She was about to speak when she was silenced by Vincenzo's lips capturing hers. She blushed intensely, feeling the eyes of others on the two as they shared the kiss, but she still kissed him back. When he moved back, she gripped his hands tighter as if begging him not to. The others in the restaurant didn't matter. To her, it was only him and herself. She heard his comment, now blushing more. I...I didn't mind it.....

He could feel her hands grip his tighter as he pulled away. Her words caused him to smirk, and without another word he leaned back in, kissing her deeply this time. He had been craving another kiss ever since they were in Karakura Park, and he couldn't let this opportunity go. her kisses were so intoxicating, and soon enough, he found himself lost.

As they kissed the waitress returned with their drinks. She wasn't sure of what to do since their embrace still hadn't stopped, so she simply placed the drinks in front of the two and walked off, figuring she'd come back later to ask for their orders.

Kohana didn't even get a moment to react before Vincenzo's lips descended on hers again, this time capturing them in a deeper, more passionate kiss. She happily returned it, his kisses like a spark that ignited a flame within her that burned hot deep within her core. He brought out another side of her than she never knew existed. She didn't even notice the waitress' return, but soon smelled the sweet scent of raspberries emminating from the table. She reluctantly broke from the kiss and glanced to her right to see the two cups of tea. As much as she loved her tea, nothing could rival the sweet taste of her beloved's lips. She ached for more, but didn't want to cause a scene.

His eyes slowly opened as as he felt Kohana break their kiss, noticing her looking back to the table. He blushed a bit as he noticed the glasses sitting in front of them. He hadn't even noticed the waitress leave them. He smiled and chuckled shyly. "Wow, we really got into that one..." He turned around slowly began to sip from his glass of tea. It was a taste he never before had, and quite delicious. He could now understand why she adored drinking tea so much. His mother had always told him it was good for you, though, he always took that to meaning it was nasty. He laughed at this thought and began to glance over his menu. All the dishes were so foreign to him, he had no idea of what to get. He sighed a bit and looked over to Kohana. "What were you planning on getting?"

She blushed even more at his comment and reached for her tea. She took a sip, the warm and soothing liquid calming her the moment it graced her tastebuds. The flavor was perfect, even though it was made in the world of the living. She let out a soft, satisfied sigh before setting her cup down. She noticed Vincenzo now flipping through the menu again. She did the same, looking over the food that the place had to offer. She then noticed another one of her personal favorites. She smiled and looked up at Enzo as he asked what she planned on ordering. She laid the menu down and showed him a picture of the grilled freshwater eel. Unagi... it's delicious....tastes almost like yellowtail tuna... She smiled, her stomach growling again as she spoke of the dish. She blushed and ducked behind her menu, still somewhat embarrassed.

He smiled as he watched her taste her tea. It seemed as those she was now entirely refreshed, the taste reminding her a bit of home. He glanced back to the menu and continued to read through until he heard her reply to his question, turning his head back into her direction. "Unagi, hmm?" He looked at the picture and saw that it was Eel, and it looked delicious. He loved the taste of Eel, having eaten it quite often in Anguilla Alia Fiorentina, a delicious dish. The waitress soon arrived once more and asked them of their orders. "I'll get the Unagi with the salad and Miso soup" He knew what a salad was, but Miso soup was new for him, but he figured today was a day for firsts.

Kohana peeked up over the menu, her face still red with her blush. She noticed the waitress returning to take their orders. Kohana exhaled slowly, calming herself while Vincenzo ordered. She laid her menu down and glanced at the woman as she waited for Kohana to order. She wasn't really a big eater. Many in the soul society enjoyed buying her dinner because of how little she ate. She lightly blushed and began to order. Teriyaki grilled Unagi...with an order of Onigiri... that's all.. Her gaze returned to Vincenzo, a light smile returning to her face as the woman wrote down the orders before bowing and walking away.

The waitress soon walked away and left the couple alone once more. Kohana's small order made him wonder if that was really all she wanted or if she was just being polite because he was paying the bill. Money wasn't anything she needed to worry about, after all, he had just gotten paid today. But he got the feeling that she just didn't eat all that much during a meal. He on the other hand liked to eat a lot during meals, because he'd soon be working it off during training at Abstergo or during one of his missions. He smiled as he looked at her and took another sip of his tea. "Mmm, this is better than I thought it'd be".

Kohana smiled and looked up at Vincenzo again as he took another sip of his tea, she now doing the same. She lightly chuckled, a rare think for Kohana. She rarely laughed, or even uttered a chuckle. She was always so quiet and calm. Other shinigami saw her emotionless for that fact. She inhaled the soothing steam that rose from the cup. This tea...it's a blend meant to calm the nerves... it is made of dried raspberries, rose hips, rosemary, and white tea leaves....I make this kind myself back in the Sei...back home... She stopped herself from mentioning the soul society out loud. She was forbidden from talking about it where other humans could here. She took another sip of her tea, savoring the smooth flavor, though she craved something so much sweeter. She craved Vincenzo's soothing kisses. Perhaps later in the evening...since she had all night.

He nodded as he listened to her words. It was true, this tea did have a calming effect, and from her demeanor now, he could tell it effected her in the same ways. He took yet another sip of his tea before he caught a look of the waitress returning with their food. He moved his cup to the side as the waitress placed their food in front of them. "Thanks" He nodded towards the waitress before she walked off to help the other patrons. He glanced over his food in anticipation. It all looked so delicious. He closed his eyes and said a little prayer before he looked back over to Kohana. "Is it the same way they made back "home"?" He chuckled lightly as he spoke, hoping that coming her made her a bit comfortable. He didn't want to overwhelm her with so many things all at once, but settle her in slowly. Though he didn't like the idea of her leaving, he also realized that Soul Society was her home, and it wasn't fair to ask her to leave it so suddenly in the way he might have been suggesting. It was always great to be reminded of home, case in point: the fact that he always frequented the Italian restaurant downtown. It wasn't home, yet, it was always nice to have something at least familiar. He smiled at this thought and took a bite of his salad, the Ginger dressing holding an exquisite flavor.

Kohana smiled towards the waitress as she returned with the food for the two. Kohana nodded to the woman, silently thanking her. She then looked over her food. The scent of the teriyaki flavor that emminated from the Unagi was delightful, almost reminding her of the business district of the seireitei. The three Onigiri were shaped perfectly, each having a pickled plum imbedded in the back of it. The eel was placed on three skewers, one in each end and one skewer in the middle. Each three skewers had three filets on them. Kohana ate her eel in an unusual manner. She sliced the eel into sections separating the skewers. She took one skewer at a time, slowly nibbling each piece that remained impaled on the thin wooden stick. After finishing two skewers of eel, she started on the onigiri. She was a relatively slow eater, taking her time to savor each bite. She then heard Vincenzo ask if the food was made the same way at "home." She lightly smiled and nodded slightly. It is...quite similar...thank you...for bringing me here.. She blushed slightly and took another sip of her tea.

He smiled as she thanked him, "The pleasure was all mine, Kohana". He began to finish up his salad before he took another sip of his tea, letting out a sigh of satisfaction as he drank it down. This place was a lot better than he expected it to be, he was glad they came here. As he continued to eat, he began to think of what they'd do after dinner. He smiled as a thought came to mind, a blush appearing on his cheeks as he brought the chirirenge to his mouth and slurped up some of his Miso soup and ate some of the tofu. "It was nice to experience this with you, Kohana...I've never been to a place like this, i'm glad we've been able to spend this time together". He smiled as he spoke, gazing into her beautiful Bi-colored eyes.
