Where The Day Met The Night [Private - Rammus]

The sun hung high in the mid afternoon sky, adding an orange hue to the clear, powder blue heavens. The streets of the Seireitei were busy, as usual during this time of day. Kohana had just finished her paperwork for the day and decided to head out for a bit of fresh air. She rose from her chair and grabbed Ichirin No Hana who was leaning against the side of her desk, then strapped him to her left hip. She combed her fingers through her long aqua blue hair, smoothing out any tangles. She grabbed her Lieutenant's badge off the upper right corner of her desk, then tied it to the upper part of her left arm, it resting about two inches down from her shoulder. Once satisfied, she left her office, closing the door behind her. She stopped at Izuru-Taicho's office to let him know her work was finished and that she was going for a walk. After getting proper permission, she was out on her way. She avoided several of her squad mates who tried to stop her and talk. She wasn't really a talkitive person, especially with other males. She dodged them, seeming rather cold as she did so. Finally, she made it to the courtyard. She crossed the courtyard and exited through the division's front gates. She was free. She took in a deep breath, then exhaled slowly, making her way down one of the main streets that lead towards the bustling merchant's area of the Soul Society.

After walking for a good fifteen minutes, she arrived at one of her favorite places. It was a small herbal tea house. Kohana adored the smells within the place and decided to stop in for a small tea break. She took a seat at one of the more secluded tables, awaiting service. After a couple minutes, a woman approached her and asked what she would like. Kohana smiled and ordered her personal favorite blend that the tea house offered. She requested a special blend of dried raspberry and rose hips with a hint of rosemary. The woman nodded and walked back towards the front counter, delivering Kohana's request. While she waited, she began to sense an odd presence within the Seireitei. She couldn't figure out exactly what it was, and it bugged her. Goosebumps formed on her arms, a chill running down her spine. She tried to shake the feeling, but it just wouldn't leave. There was someone or something out there, and it was driving her crazy. While deep in thought, Kohana didn't realize that her tea was placed in front of her until it's soothing aroma hit her nares. She took in a deep breath, the calming scent snapping her from her trance. She thanked the woman and paid for her tea before picking up the glass. It was hot to the touch, steam rising from the liquid's rippling surface. She inhaled the steam before taking a small sip. The warm fluid warmed a path to her stomach, and soothed her rattled nerves. She continued to sense an odd presence though. Perhaps it would reveal itself in time.

Rammus overlooked Seirentei from high in the sky. His red hair blowing in the wind as he took a swig of russian vodka from the human world. The beautiful place hadn't changed in the last century, still dazling. Though theri security coud use some work, Rammus still manages to sneak in there easily. Granted he used both his mask of change and Invisibiity cloak. The cloak he was currently wearing. Infiltration was easy, and the drunk scientist find it humorous how Mayuri still has not surpassed him. He was on his way to check out his progress actually.

He slowly drifted down until he touched the ground, taking out his mask and changing into the form of a unseated twelfth division Officer. He was 5 foot 7 with short spiked black hair and a scar over his right eye. Removing his cloak adnd putting it in his lab cot pocket. Which he wore over his kimono. Then began to walk down the street, but stoppped infront of a Tea house. Usual not fancying tea, but as he was drunk he did not care. He was in line behind Konaha until she recieved her tea. He broke out of the line and approached her, tapping the table with his knuckles, " Excuse me? My name is Ram. May I ask you a question? "

Kohana continued to sip her tea silently, her bi-colored optics now closed as she savored the sweet blend. She was suddenly startled by an erratic tapping on her table. She jumped, quickly setting her cup down before she dropped it, then looked up as a male voice began to speak. The way Kohana was sitting kept her cornered. She couldn't flee from the situation. Kohana swallowed hard, her hands lightly shaking. From the looks of the male, he appeared to be from Squad Twelve. Most members of that squad wore strange lab coats from what she had seen. Kohana didn't know many male shinigami except for a select few, so she couldn't really know whether this male was a squad member or not. All she knew was that he was male, which made it harder for her to speak.

After a few long moments of silence, Kohana finally spoke. Her voice was soft and somewhat shaky, showing her timid nature. U-Um....sure..... How can I...I help you, Mr. Ram....? Her bi-colored hues locked onto the male's own gaze. His eyes had a glassy appearance, almost like a doll's eyes. A horrid smell wafted on the male's breath. It made her stomach turn. She hated the smell of alcohol. That being the reason why she avoided the Captain of Squad Thirteen. She continued to tremble a little more now after deducing that the male before her was utterly inhebriated. Her slender fingers curled inward, her hands forming loose fists as she slowly slid her hands off of the table. She laid her hands on her lap and sat quietly. The sooner the man got what he needed, the sooner she'd be able to relax and enjoy her tea.

Rammus noticed he had frightened the girl and shook his hands infront of his face with a smile, " Don't be scared. Sorry. I was just... Asking what type of tea you had gotten. " He felt a little bad that he scared her, that he needed to make it up. Maybe after getting osm etea, he would stop and explain to her, get to know her so that he can get that guilt off his back. WAIT. Whet was he saying, he was here on business, for infromation. Trying t even out things with a girl he would probably never meet again. He must have been quite drunk. " So ya... sorry. I often come off a little strong. Off topic. What tea is that? " He said with an akward look on his face. He was quite bad at talking iwth women.
