A wild Kuchiki appears! (Hiyro)

Byakuya made his way slowly from the Kuchiki mansion, his sudden reappearance had apparently spread quickly, as he found that many others had also disappeared. Not that it changed anything really, he still felt that he should have been able to prevent such a thing happening. Instead of taking such things to heart right now, he was more concerned as to why the new Captain Commander had requested a meeting with him only a few days after he had returned. It was about midday and it was quite a pleasant day actually. He found his way quite quickly and found himself waiting outside the chambers. He hadn't been told much about this man, in fact he didn't even know his name, which he was sure he would learn quickly. Taking the last few steps he gave the door a few knocks, and then opened them. Quickly searching the room Byakuya found who he was looking for, apparently not looking much older than him, but he doubted someone of his age could become captain commander so easily.

”Greetings... you must be the new Captain Commander. he said, it probably looked strange to see the man without his usual clothing, but apparently he had given it up, wearing only his shinigami robe. ”You requested a meeting? he questioned, standing quite still as he waited for a reply, he still hadn't figured out what this was going to be about yet. Maybe he had a job, maybe it was something else entirely. Now all he had to do was wait for a reply.

"just curious...."

He had been up almost all night doing paperwork, but by now he had gotten used to that. Ever since becoming captain commander, he had found that he had to learn to run on little to no sleep. Just as Hiyro finished his paperwork, he remembered that he had set up a meeting with Byakuya Kuchiki. He had been one of the people to go missing, and had now returned. Reports said that he did not remember anything about the time when he was gone, but Hiyro wanted to speak with him himself, just to make sure. He also felt bad about not being able to give him his position back, and wanted to clear the air. Rumor was that Byakuya was very cold, and Hiyro didn't want such a powerful man to hate him.

Just then byakuya showed up in his doorway, standing up, he bowed quickly. "Yes, yes, Kuchiki-erm.. san. he said motioning for the seat across from his own. "Please sit down, I would like to speak with you, if you wouldn't mind."Hiyro said with a friendly smile.

Byakuya nodded as he walked in further, closing the doors behind him as he did so. He hoped that this wasn't going to be another interrogation about his missing status.. he hoped that this new commander would be asking something of him that didn't make him repeat how much he didn't know about why he and the others had gone.. but for some reason he doubted it. He took a seat and looked over to Hiyro.. he didn't return the smile, simply waited for what this man had to say. He probably looked quite strange without that scarf, he himself felt strange not having around his neck... he decided that he would need to find Rukia soon and figure out what was to be done with the whole situation.

”Of course, whenever you are ready” he noticed that the man looked tired, possibly because he wasn't used to the hectic work the captain commander was required to do, but he was sure that he was at least strong enough to hold the position. And would probably get used to the work load as well, of course he would have to if he planned to keep it.

"just curious...."

Hiyro smiled as Byakuya sat down, sitting down as well. This wouldn't be the first time that Hiyro had been around Byakuya before, but he doubted that he remembered him at all. As an assassin, he had a post as a royal family body guard, so that no one would find out his true identity. Of course now that he was captain commander, there was no need for the ruse anymore, but he and Byakuya had definitely crossed paths before.

"I didn't call you here to ask about your disappearance, I have all the information in this report." Hiyro started, picking up the thick file. No, Byakuya wasn't the type to with hold important information. If there was anything worth knowing that he knew, it would be in the report. He just felt the need to make it clear that he wasn't going to badger him on the matter. "Although it is unfortunate that we have no information, I'm glad to see that you're back, and safe at that." he said, Putting the file back down., looking at Byakuya "So... the real question is, aren't you bored? How come you haven't come to ask me for anything to do?" he asked, knowing that the ex-captain must be pulling his hair out with nothing to do. The question was asked in a somewhat casual, jovial tone, but he was still serious.
