Katie and Zaraki

This be Katie and Kenpachi's area!!

Katie had no idea why she was doing this. This was such a bad idea. Why of all times that she avoided stupid things like this had she let her employee convince her to come and join him on this blind date thing? Giving a soft sigh, she pulled on her dress, and puled her hair up into a nice little do.

Minimal makeup, and a simple silver chain finished off her look. Resturuants would be packed today, she knew, but she really didn't care in all honesty. It got her out of the Gym, and perhpas the guy would be cool enough to replace Kensei for a night. In her purse she carried her gloves, and wallet. She was not going to get stuck with a cheap skate who wouldn't pay for her. Besides, she'd rather go dutch anyway.

Hiyro thought it would be funny to sign up a bunch of shinigami for a blind dating service. One of the many Shinigami thought he signed up for the blind dates was zaraki Kenpachi. Kenpachi couldn't see why he was signed up for such a boring, and uninteresting thing such as this. Yet, He really had no choice. Since Kenpachi lost his position as 11th division captain, He had become a burden to most of the other captains.

Kenpachi didn't want to think too much on the reasons why, but all he knew was that Hiyro wanted him to go to the human world as supposable have a good time. The Captain commander gave specific rules while in the human world as well. There was to be absolutely no fighting, unless absolutely required. The out look on the need to fight was very slime for any of the shinigami that were set up on dates. Soul society had already made preparations and had an active shinigami unit making sure no hollows suddenly appear in the human world.

The Captain commander also have each shinigami a device to completely suppress there reiatsu to that of a normal human. Central 46 didn't want unwanted menos to enter the realm of the living because the captain commander wanted to send several Captains to the human world. With that much reiatsu radiating out of such powerful people would surely attract strong hollow warriors. Kenpachi quietly got ready in the barracks of the 13th division with the help of Yachiru of coarse. Yachiru made sure that Kenpachi's gigai was dressed properly for a date. She placed a black suit with a white long-sleeve dress shirt, and a black tie.

Kenpachi looked at the Gigai, and wanted to make sure that he looked alright in it. Quickly he entered the Gigai, and moved over to a mirror. The black Tie was extremely irritating, Soul with a forceful tug, Kenpachi ripped the tie off his neck, and proceeded to rip the top part of the shirt open. "Much better!" He exclaimed as he admired himself in the mirror.

With a big grin, Kenpachi was off. Quietly he made his way to the gates to the human world, and Yachiru accompanied him to the gates. When he arrived, Yachiru waved him off, and Kenpachi quickly started jugging through the gates with a hell butterfly by his side. The portal opened in a alleyway next to the place that he was arranged to meet the women that he was set up with.

The meeting place was in a park, and a full moon was rising up in the darkening sky. It was 6:00 pm, which made Kenpachi early. His date was supposed to arrive at 6:30 pm. Kenpachi was directed by Hiyro to sit on the bench in the middle of the park, and his date would be waiting. Kenpachi couldn't help but think on how much of a bother that this was for him. He was a warrior, not a lover boy... what were they trying to do to his reputation!?

Kenpachi just let out a sigh, and frowned as he walked towards the center of the park. Once he was in the center of the park, he spotted the bench, and from the looks of it, nobody had arived but him yet. Kenpachi closed his one eye without the eye patch and walked over to the benhc and sat down. Tilting his head back and spreading his arms across the top of the back supporter of the bench, Kenpachi waited for this girl to show.

Katie wasn't running late. She never was late. Ever. It was bad to get into being late, and she preferred not to be. As she approached the area she was to meet her date, she saw a man sitting on the bench and felt her chest give a soft squeeze of emotion. He wasn't the typical kind of handsome....but he was the kind of guy she would go for, scars and all. Katie liked a challenge, she liked someone rough looking, and kinda willing to fight it out then discuss it. But what she didn't know was just how bloody tall he was, and she'd find that out as soon as he stood up.

Her heels clicked across the walkway as she made her way towards him, her purse over her shoulder, and she stopped, her hips cocked slightly, her free hand on her hip, and her head tilted to the side as she regarded the man who was sitting with his head tilted back and his eye closed. "Are you Kenpachi Zakari?" she asked softly. "I'm Katie Fletcher, looks like we're dates tonight."

"Are you Kenpachi, Zakari?" a young, feminine voice spoke out. Zaraki's eye opened and his head perked up to look at the girl. She was wearing a nice black dress, and very high, high heels. Kenpachi started from her feet and slowly made his way up to Katie's face. She seemed very nice, and she had some good looks in Kenpachi's opinion. Kenpachi closed his eye and stood up. "Katie, huh? Well, lets get going... I've wasted enough o' my time here" Kenpachi said as he stood up fully.

When Kenpachi was postured up, he noticed that the female was significantly smaller, even with the heels on, Kenpachi still had a good foot on her. Kenpachi let out a small chuckle and walked on passed her towards a trail that headed for the exit of the park. "So, what'cha wanna do?" Kenpachi asked curiously as he turned his head to see the girl with his one eye.

Katie looked down at the man before he stood up. But when he stood up, he towered over her. And she wasn't a short woman. She was 5 feet and seven inches....and her heels were six inches tall, which made her 6' 1"....And he still was taller then she. Of all the men who she could have been paired with, this guys was almost perfect. Her steps were still long and able to keep up with Kenpachi. "Well dinner is usually the game plan for a Valentine's Day Date, so let's start there and see where we go then." She said with a smile at him. Yes, this man was one that she would normally go for. Sometime things just worked out.

Kenpachi frowned when Katie did specify exactlt where she wanted to go, or what to do other then to go eat dinner. 'hm..?' Kenpachi let out a grunt and looked down at Katie. "Alright, So I get to choose where we eat?" Kenpachi said as the two of them stepped foot on the sidewalk of one of the streets. Kenpachi had his hands in his pockets as he walked next to Katie escorting her to the steak house. Personally, Kenpachi didn't really care what the girl wanted, he was craving a steak. A nice juicy, bloody steak.

As the two made there way down the street, they came up to a nice steak house called the outback. It was a decent Restaurant, but it wasn't too Fancy. Kenpachi liked food joints that were small, more realistic and affordable places. "Hows steak sound?" Kenpachi asked as he turned his head towards Katie. His date needed to agree on the food after all.

She swore to god who created this green earth that if this guy decided on something like McDonalds, she was going to flip out and throw him into a wall....or at least try to. As they walked towards what was basically the restaurant district, she heard him ask if Steak was good. Ah, a man after my own heart. Steak would be perfect. Now let's hope I don't spill it on myself. She thought to herself before replying. "Steak sounds perfect. I like it quite well." She said as they entered the Outback. Giving Kenpachi a sly smile, she talks the host to bring them to a table at the back. He was one of the regulars at her Gym, and she loved having that connection to get them faster accommodations.

After they were seated, the waiter came over to their table, and asked what they wanted to drink, Katie ordered a bottle of sake for the pair of them. "Unless you're not drinking alcohol tonight?" she asked Kenpachi with a raised eyebrow in slight challenge.
