High (school) and mighty : (Rukia, open)

After having their fare share of walking Ichigo glanced at his wrist watch briefly, they had taken 15 minutes walking at a fairly slow pace, but they still had like 30 minutes before class would start, he could clearly see the school now just about 100m from their position, Ichigo had earlier asked how soul society was doing and they where doing fairly well despite their losses it suprised ichigo slightly but it also made him less worried of their issues... i mean there where no espada`s to worry about anymore so things should move along fairly well now.

Rukia... do you think your brother will return? he asked while walking holding his bag over his shoulder, he was wearing his school uniform as always when going to school.

Rukia had been awfully quiet for the past ten minutes, spending her time looking at his back rather than on the nice weather. She had been lost in memories of the old times, she could`t count of how many times they had walked like this. The only difference now was, that she wasen`t wearing a high school uniform, and without the gaiga, Ichigo could`t see her. The last twenty four hours had felt like a dream, and the more she thought about it, the more it sank in that this wasen`t a dream. She began to wonder how the school looked, had anything been changed in it? Since only some months had passed since she last had seen it, she assumed that the student`s haden`t changed much, at least if you looked at how little Ichigo had changed in apperance. Would anyone reconize her?

She was snapped out of thoughts when he asked her a rather sudden question, causing her to look down at the sidewalk. "Are you dumb? Of cause i belive in it...even through you cannot see it, i`m wearing his scarf and hair ornament, watching over it until he comes back". A rather heavy silence followed her words, a silence she didn`t like. She decided to break it up with a little teasing. "how are you doing in school by the way? Are your grades still as bad as your haircut?". It was a blunt tease, it wasen`t really her intention to get him all mad half an hour before class. A small wind rushed over them, blowing her waist long hair around her short body. It wasen`t cold, it was mild. She was only wearing black sneakers, a pair of jeans that allowed movement, and a black and white top. It wasen`t really her style, but until she brought something new, she had to live with it. While it didn`t show off her slightly matured body, it was noticeable if you had meet her before.

Before Ichigo had had left to school he had not looked who had sneaked into his backpack. As Ichigo was not looking Kon Sneaked towards the backpack and got in it. Hiding in it he hoped no one would discover him. At least not until they got at school. He felt that the backpack was picked up and heard the sound of walking and a door. Kon let out a small sigh, at least they where outside the house now. Softly he let out a laugh. One that was to soft to hear outside the backpack.

Suddenly he heard the voice of a girl. He recognized it imminently, it was Rukia. Kon had not seen her the whole morning. The backpack zipped open and a small lion plushie head popped out of it. "Good morning Nee-san!" the plush said in a happy tone while he was looking into the direction of the girl. It wont be long before ichigo would freak out about him being in his backpack.

It didnt bug him at all what Rukia had said quite the opposite, altrough he did not smile about it but kept silent about it until his lips parted I see how was he even supposed to know that she where wearing the scarf and kesseikan? the silence that followed was almost depressing but it was weird at the same time.

Ichigo turned to look at Rukia when she teased him while they walked, he smiled a bit thanks to you he said with a hint of sarcasm as he pulled up his arm and gently knocked his fist against her forehead fully knowing that it would most likeley upset her, when he said thanks to you, he meant both his hair style and his bad grades, altrough his grades had become better since he lost his powers.

What suprised and slightly upset Ichigo was the fact that he heard kon call out rukia`s name from his backpack, as he had zipped it open, Ichigo`s right eye was twiching mildly as he turned to look at kon`s face past his shoulder. The plushie had never had any manners, the fact that he had lost his powers would not have changed anything execpt perhaps that they both had missed her for different reasons.

The hell kon! he said in a frantic tone when did you get in there go home! he grabbed the plushie by the head out of the bag looking at it Didnt i tell you not to follow me to school bakamono (a word worse than idiot)

What if some student`s see that im carrying around a old shitty plushie, its NOT COOL he said with a rather annoyed tone. He raised his voice at the end to make his point.

Rukia, having been lost in thoughts while looking at the ground, looked up at he lightly bumped his hand against her forehead. Being a little surprised over his action she looked at him as they walked, allowing herself to sigh a little. She had teased him and he had teased back, which meant there was "peace" in between them for now. She didn`t really know why the teasing had started, it had just sorta been there ever since he kicked her on that night they first meet. Already from the start he had been different...

A all to familiar voice broke through the relaxing silence that she had enjoyed. Having already raised her hand to hit the plushie away, she discovered that Ichigo already had gotten his hands on him, holding the small lion by the head. As Ichigo mentioned students seeing him with the toy, they stopped up and looked at him. "That`s Kurosaki from the class right?", "why is he yelling at a stuffed toy?..", and so the whispers began. Rukia watched the two as they headed for the school, which was only a few blocks from here. Her thoughts briefly fell on the people she had meet in the class, would anyone besides Orihime, Ishida and sado recognize her?

Looking back at Ichigo and the plush toy, she smirked a little. "I think it looks rather cute, i wonder how your class mates would react if i took a picture and showed it". While it was a rather harmless tease, she knew that being seen with Kon in school was one of the last things he wanted. She was a little surprised to still see Kon with Ichigo...now that Ichigo had no powers, there was no need for Kon really.

OOC: since kon has not posted im saying we skip until someone says otherwise havent really seen him around lateley anyway.

IC: To Ichigo`s suprise Rukia did not complain either she accepted the facts or then he had teased her back in a manner that would have settled things, first things first Ichigo did not want to be seen nagging and/or teasing Rukia near the school for several reasons, however no matter people had already seen him act weird when he was now talking to the problem, in his mind several things started to look grim for this day, how many woman had Kon in his body been chasing? when he was in hueco mundo?

Ichigo gave an annoyed look at Rukia before he raised an eye brown as some sweat ran down his cheek B-baka that`s not funny at all, rather could you do me a favor? could you do the funny thing you do when people see too much and uh make them forget what just happened? Ichigo tightened the grip around kon`s head then tossing the plushie into the ground and stamping it slightly before he continued to walk towards the school along with Rukia, he gave kon the "dont dare follow us" look, he then turned to look at Rukia in hopes that she would agree to his request.
