First day at school (Miyu, open to any other student)

Ryoku sighed, sitting outside during lunch break, his morning having been very long and dull. He had sat in class after class, and he barely managed to follow everything. No one told my school was so much... work. He still couldn't quite believe that he had managed to convince this school to let him in, and at the grade that properly corresponded with his age, even though he never had been to school before in his life.

Ryoku chuckled slightly as he lay back against the ground, looking up at the clouded sky, thankful that half the day had gone by. It had been nothing but people staring at him, mostly his hair and his eyes, both of which were multi-coloured. He sighed again thinking about how he was more than likely in for an afternoon of much the same things as his morning, more staring and utter confusion.

"Maybe I'll just drop out... This is too much effort." He said to himself, eyes shut as he lay against the grass, waiting for classes to resume.

Miyu yawned and stood up, letting out an boring sigh. She grabbed her stuff and walked trough the halls of the school. School had been really boring today and it was time something happened. She made her way outside the school to eat her lunch. On her way she looked around is she saw one of her friends but sadly they did not have school today. Yet another sigh slipped from her lips as she walked and arrived outside.

Her eyes scanned everything thing around but stopped as she saw a familiar multicolored hair. She began to wonder why he was here. Did he decide to go to school? A smile appeared on her face and she started to walk into his direction but soon started to sprint to him. "RYO!" She screamed as she ran up to him. She stopped next to him and quietly looked at him, remembering the last time she saw him. "What are you doing here?" She asked and smiled. Miyu sat down next to him on the grass and took out her lunch out of her back.

What another boring day today was, and it didn't seem like it was getting any better. Quietly, Shinji walked through the halls of the school minding his own business. Shinji doesn't know why he needs to show up to school, but his father, and the school insist that he continues to come. Even though he had already finished everything required to graduate, Shinji was forced to come to this school to listen about something he has already learned.

In his own opinion, he didn't need the schooling that the high school provided in his line of work. Quietly Shinji just walked down the hall with white shoes, black khaki pants, and a immaculate white t-short underneath a well kept blue jacket with a stripe across the outside arms of the jacket. It being lunch time, all the kids were out in the halls or outside eating. Shinji never really ate lunch at school, and when he did, it was usually just some crackers. Yet, he wasn't hungry, and was simply walking around the school campus.

Shinji wasn't sure if he was just gonna skip for the whole day, or simply stay and wait for school to get out of session. Shinji made his way outside, and out onto the front. Quietly he walked on top of the concrete that was provided for people to walk on. Shinji was a popular guy in school, So mostly everybody knew who he was. He was good at sports, and he was one of the favorites for the ladies. Though, Shinji has always been oblivious to the fact that he gets flirted with all the time. He can be real thick headed when it comes to that type of stuff.

Oh thank gosh that was over, as the bell rang for lunch Kaihime could have leapt from her chair with a cheer. She had just sat through yet another class she understood practically nothing from, sometimes it was rather humorous when all she got was random words from here and there that would make some weird sentences. Walking the halls of the school she got the usual stares she had been getting the last 3 days since she joined the school, she figured it was for the obvious reasons. She was new, she was foreign and she had pink hair, none of which made her blend in very well. She decided she would stay away from the normal eating areas that everyone else frequented so as to avoid the crowds and noise, making her way outside Kaihime was trying to remember the way back but she had no doubt she would forget it by the time she had eaten.

Looking down at her timetable for her classes Kaihime’s face sunk and she all of a sudden had the strange urge to bang her head against a wall. Sure her next class was written there but she had no idea what it said nor how it corresponded to the school map, first things first she would need to find out what the timetable said then look it up on the school map. Her eyes quickly rose from the paper in her hand and scanned the area for anyone that might be able to help her decipher the language that was Japanese, she was confident she would be able to at least manage to ask them what it said in Japanese…… well she hoped anyway. She spotted a male walking not too far from where she was standing, well she thought it was a male but judging from behind can sometimes lead to embarrassment…..she had learnt that the hard way once before. Taking off after ‘them’ Kaihime clutched the timetable tightly there was no way she was going to drop it, that little piece of paper not only held her timetable but it held all her little translations for the classes she had already been to on it.

It only took a few seconds of running for Kaihime to catch up, she was but metres from their back when she spoke. “Excuse me, can you give me an arm?” Unaware of the fact that she had once again messed up in speaking her Japanese Kaihime smiled sincerely waiting for him to turn around.

Shinji continued to walk along the sidewalk in the front of the school where most kids that didn't like the cramped lunch area came to eat. Shinji's eyes moved back and fourth at all the people around him. He took note of what the people around him were doing. A few people stood in a circle on one side gossiping about trivial things. Then there was a group of girls that were looking in his direction giggling about something. Shinji could only think it was just more gossip about rumors that people like to start.

Shinji just sighed and continued to walk towards a vacant tree that had plenty of shade. Shinji wasn't the biggest fan of hanging out with crowds. Something about large groups always made Shinji feeled pressured to do what everybody else was doing, So to avoid getting in trouble for some prank he pulled, or suspended for getting in a minor fight(minor in his opinion). Suddenly, Shinji could hear the sound of loud foots steps coming up from behind him. He didn't turn around until he heard a feminine voice not to far away from him call out for help.

Shinji turned towards the girl behind him to see who it was. "Hm...? I would but I only have two, and unfortunately I need both of them" Shinji said jokingly in the japenese tongue. He gave a friendly smile and then took note of the girls features. She had light pink hair that fell down passed her lower back, with a very cute face. Letting out a cough to clear his throat, Shinji bowed with his hand on his abdomen. "Names Shinji, and you must be the transfer student from america!" shinji said in the english tongue with a smile. He had heard a few rumors about an american transfer student had come to the school, but he never really knew got a chance to meet her personally. "What can I do for you?" Shinji added as he straightened his back and looked at the girl waiting for her to reply.

Danzukey let out a really loud yawn as tears of tiredness welled up in his eyes, he just got out of his Social Studies as the Lunch Bell rang. Danzukey bwasn't bored because he hated that class, it was actually one of his favorites, he was always bored though cause he already pretty much knew almost anything relating to History. As he walked into the Lunch room he waved his silver white hair from his crimson red eyes. Looking at all of the people but he was tired of sitting inside for Lunch. Plus he didn't want to get in another fight like last time..The Principle specifically told him that if he got in one more serious fight he would be expelled, but due from the injuries he gave to the guy last time no one has really tried to pick on Danzukey. He wasn't very hungry during Lunch, only bought a Pretzel with some Cheese for dipping. As he grew bored he decided to leave the cafeteria without anyone noticing. As he finished chewing on the pretzal he walked through the halls, with a sad look on his face, most of his friends were home either because they were sick or because they decided to skip school. Danzukey smacked his head against the lockers regretting that he didn't skip like his friends. He calmed down as he wiped his hair from his eyes again. "Tch, this day is so stupid. I might just skip school the rest of my classes are boring as hell. Besides nobody will notice I'm gone right?" Danzukey decided he would skip school, his parents weren't home since they had work so he wouldn't have any trouble. He continued walking along the hallway walking to the exit to walk home.

Ryoku remained in his laying position, smiling slightly up at the sky, as he heard footsteps approaching, then running at him. He scowled, then sat up smiling, as he heard Miyu call his name. "Hey Miyu, how's it going?" He said, still grinning. He heard a moan in the back of his mind and he rolled his eyes, his other side was unhappy. Why does she ALWAYS show up...

Ryoku merely chuckled at that and turned to face Miyu when she stood next to him. "I decided to try this whole school thing. Though it's not working out...so I may not come back." He said, shrugging. He watched her pullout her lunch, having already eaten his own, and smiled lightly at her mere presence.

Miyu slowly ate her lunch and looked at Ryoku. "good! but why isn't it working out?" she asked wondering if something had happened that he did not like it here. "don't give up on it so easly. is this your first day?" she asked while staring at him. She looked around a little and spotted a girl who was talking to a boy. She heard some English slip from their mouths.

That must be the new transfer student from america. Miyu had not seen her around yet but she had heard rumors about this english girl. "Ryo-kun have you already talked to the new transfer student?" she said while looking at the girl. Miyu was equally very interested in this girl because she was not from here. a totally different person.

Feeling relief wash over her as he stopped and started to turn around Kaihime thought she must have said everything correctly….that was until he said something that made her wonder if in fact that was the truth. She wasn’t sure what she had said anymore and began to blush slightly as he joked about it, he was definitely attractive and she knew that he had to be one of the ‘popular’ kids in the school. Just that fact made her feel slightly nervous talking to him, yes she knew that they were no different to anyone else in reality but when your new to a school you try not to do anything that might cause yourself trouble…and talking to someone a lot higher on the social status would often have that effect. Taking the bow that she received to be one of formality Kaihime hurriedly returned the bow, she wasn’t 100% familiar with Japanese traditions and etiquette and she sure as heck didn’t want to offend anyone. Her form in that regard was poor as she had been told by a grumpy elderly lady she had met a few days earlier, sloppy was the word she used to describe it.

When he started to speak in English Kaihime’s face gleamed with excitement, she couldn’t believe her luck. “Oh wow! You speak English, That’s great! As you can tell my Japanese isn’t all that good” Hurriedly unfolding the piece of paper she had been clutching Kaihime ran her finger over the page quickly as she looked for the classroom she needed help with, the page itself was littered with notes and translations written in English. Approaching his side and turning so that she was facing the same direction as him, holding the page out in front of them she pointed to her next class. Little did she know that it wasn’t a class at all, it was a free period. “Would you be able to tell me which building this is? I can’t read Japanese properly at the best of times let alone when they are ant size”
