Segunda Espada`s Palace ((PM if joining in or get inv))

Luna lowered her gaze to the floor as Ulquiorra said she talked to much. His voice wasen`t really angry, it was more uninterested and bored, it was the same tone he usually talked to her in. Luna remained silent as the two espada`s talked, wondering were the topic would lead. From what she could gather, Ulquiorra would beat some sence into her if he had to. The moment aster Ulquiorra had spoken his order, she made a bow towards him, sliding the sleeves away from her hands. "Hai, Ulquiorra-sama". She turned her back to the two espada and began to walk towards her room, which was were most of the tea was stored in a closet. She looked over her shoulder once at Lucy, as if she wanted to check that Lucy didn`t do anything like before. After a few steps, the darkness engulfed her small frame. The numerous could be heard moving something into place not far from them.

After 2 minutes, Luna returned, the mild scent of peaches hanging over her. "The tea is ready". She made a gesture towards a two person table that was standing around 10 feet from them. The two chairs around the table were silver, meaning that you could see them in the limited light reflecting from the walls. A simple tea pot and two cups was placed on the middle of it, the scent of peaches coming from the pot. Luna`s face had grown emotionless again, yet her eyes displayed loneliness..even through she was happy for working under Ulquiorra, it seemed that his cold remarks had left an imprint on the girl`s emotions. Luna walked back to the table, pulling out a chair for Lucy. After Lucy had sat down, she would pull out a chair for Ulquiorra. It was basic manners to let the guest sit first.

The numeros that had carried the table moved away from the walls, the darkness engulfing their silent bodies. The surface of the red pool remained still, and Luna`s blue eyes was lighten up by the light reflecting from the chairs, making them look like diamonds. The entire place looked like a different world, and the silence could at times become creepy for some..but for the owner of the chambers and his fraccion, it was a silence that was enjoyed.

She opened and closed her mouth a few times, not sure if she should keep talking or heed to the advice of her own mind and shut up for now. It had been proven often that Ulquiorra seemed to lose interest after a certain amount of talking, and surely that didn't prove any different today. I wonder how much Luna truly cares for her Master. Lord knows I'd had been long done trying to rip his indifferent face off many years ago. However, she got a lil perked up as Ulquiorra spoke to her. "Eh, well don't worry about it. Freedom of speech and all." Surprisingly enough, he managed to keep talking and didn't really say anything too offensive. Rather.. he seemed to have made sure to make her think he had in mind to take part of her little "project". But her hands got raised up in front of her chest like she was warding off any ideas of his to "fix" that beauty of hers. Lucy had no doubt that he would be more than ready to resort to that. "Ah, well thanks for the offer. Perhaps.. some.. day." Fighting with him? Fuck no. However much Lucy loved fighting, then she had no desire whatsoever to get her ass kicked by him. And also have to listen to his offensive words at the same time. How much prettier he would be if he just kept his mouth shut. A small sigh escaped her lips while she studied the proud Espada in front of her, before a slight twitch made itself to her right eyebrow. What... the heck? Did I just think he was pretty? Oh dear GOD!

"What do I want? Well, when I figure that fully out then I will let you know." Just a small lie she guessed. It wasn't like she had her mind really -set- on anything, but well.. there were things she wanted. It wasn't just like she had any real desire to.. share that just like this. She barely even got to talk about the private personal things with her Fraccion. That could though be because he was pretty much a statue himself. Oh tea? 1 point for the pretty boy. She had to fight the urge to facepalm. What is wrong with my brain? I can't refer to him as the Pretty Boy! Well, did anyone really have to know? Wait, that must mean.. I made progress? Oh score. Her mood was lightening more and more, and Lucy was sure she'd start skipping around the place soon enough. "Tea does sound lovely indeed." A bright smile was flashed in the direction of the other 2 Arrancars, before Luna went ahead to get the yummy tea. Clasping her hands behind her back, Lucy balanced on her heels while whistling a low tune. Not really finding any small talk to start up. It was probably clear that a chat about the weather wouldn't really help break the ice.

Thankfully for Lucy's sanity, Luna returned shortly after having departed and gestured towards the table. Making her way there, she couldn't help but notice just a slight hint of something that resembled sadness or some other depressive emotion in the girl's eyes. Glancing towards Ulquiorra, Lucy wondered if he would notice. I wouldn't count too much on it. Letting out another sigh, she sat down after thanking Luna and then eye'd the tea with her interest sparked. She felt a bit eager to taste it, and feel her muscles automatically relax from the warmth and mild taste.

Ulquiorra motioned towards the table taking a seat with his tea cup and plate neatly placed on the table in front of him, he crossed his legs he could always calm himself down a bit more with tea, why was it that he could not beat the living soul out of this woman taking a seat just in front of him despite that she slapped him, Ulquiorra had no motive, no reason to hold back and yet he avoided to even look straight at her when he thought about this, off course discreetly, Ulquiorra pulled up his cup of tea holding one arm to support his tea cup up against his cold pale lips, and supporting the plate with his other hand, appearing rather elegant he took a sip of the warm liquid, the soft taste of vanilla entered his mouth briefly, he did not mind the taste but did not exactly praise it either, as much as Ulquiorra hated to admit it, it did not match the tea Lucy served him earlier, still it did taste different and what was not better than a change, weather it was for the better or good, was another question... he certainly wondered what Lucy thought maybe she would hate vanilla and toss the cup of tea at him, she would be as good as a dead espada the moment she would raise the cup at him... but he doubted the female would act so violently just because of tea, weather she hated it or liked it really made little difference to him...

Deciding to change topic since she did not seem too intrested to train with him, it was a pity, he could really have taught her a thing or two... it seemed like he had frightened the female when he said that her beaty was the least of her concern "Have you ever seen the Hyogoku?" Ulquiorra asked with a rather monotone voice, pulling down his plate and tea cup on the table picking up the small spoon on the plate and stirring up the tea a bit, almost as a reaction to her answer about the question he had asked her, she was unaware what she wanted "ridiculous, your telling me you don`t even know what you want in the first place... leads me to ask... how did you become an espada in the first place?" Ulquiorra closed his eyes while gently placing the spoon on the table and taking yet another quick sip of the tea letting his taste buds enjoy the lingering warm liquid moments longer than last time before he swallowed the tea... he put the cup down opening his eyes again staring at lucy as if awaiting her reply. He had not meant to offend lucy but simply reply him the question he gave her.

Luna made a small, yet noticeable raise in her head and her eyes were suddenly filled with other emotions than the surprisingly depressing loneliness. It was clear that the mentioning of the thing that had created her, brought up memories from the past, along with a few facts that Luna had tried to make herself forget. Unlike all the other arrancar, whom had fought their way into the ranks of the espada, some having been found by Aizen through, she and wonderweiss had been chosen. Even through her and wonderweiss`s power levels were on espada level, they had never both considered taking a rank among them. Wonderweiss could`t think, so it explained why he didn`t try to take a spot..but for Luna, it was different. She had served under Aizen most of her life, and when he had been defeated, Ulquiorra had become and taken her in. Luna had gotten used to the life of being a simple servant..and she had oddly enough found some comfort in the green emotionless eyes belonging to her master..even if he just saw her as a failure most of the time. She had wondered sometimes..would he even care if she was hurt by a fellow espada, or what if he finally looked at her lonesome face, would he act, or simply coldly give her an order? She decided on that she would ask him when he had finished talking with Lucy...or when Lucy had gotten enough of him and stormed out of the room.

Luna slowly moved over behind Ulquiorra`s chair, placing her arms firmly onto the backside of it. Her fingers held a somewhat tight grip around the silver metal, and it seemed she had walked over there to calm herself down. She laid her blue eyes onto Lucy, the loneliness returning to her blue eyes. Some would say Luna`s situation was quite sad, a servant who craved comfort and company, yet she was serving an emotionless master who haden`t killed her, mainly because of her being a modified arrancar. There was no need for Luna to speak, so she simply remained were she was, the tips of her long hair brushing lightly against Ulquiorra`s hair that wasen`t cowered with his mask. One of the numeros walked over to the table, or rather directly towards Luna. It handed her the small doll in espada uniform with the left side of his head having long orange hair, the other having long purple hair. Luna didn`t thank the numero, nor did she even look at it. She took the doll, held it against her belly with her left hand, the other never leaving the back of her master`s chair. Carrying the doll, Luna appeared much more harmless...yet not more cheerful, since her face had fallen emotionless and lonesome again.

(No need to say sorry, it wasen`t like his worse were so colorful to begin with..xD)

Lucy brought up the cup of tea to her lips almost at the same moment as Ulquiorra did. Would this tea taste as good as her own, or would it be a bit too strong? Bit too mild? Sticking her pink tongue a bit out between her lips, she let the tip of it touch the warm liquid before she allowed it to flow into her mouth. Her finely shaped eyebrows raised a bit before lowering in a small thoughtful expression while she tasted the vanilla. It was .. not bad, but not as good as her normal tea. She didn't mention that or show any further expressions while taking another sip before placing the cup on the table. "No, as a matter of fact I haven't seen the Hyougoku. However much it would be tempting to do so." A great source of power it was, and she had to fight back the small lingering need to hold that power in her palm. There was no denying that Lucy was a power seeking woman, however good she was at never really displaying that in front of others. She decided that the role of the joker, the rather mild mannered although big tempered person suited her image. After having answered she propped her elbow up on the table as she rested her chin on her palm while watching those 2 in front of her again. "I have heard about it's powers, but well I guess that's what everything about the old days are for me and most the others here. Some fancy stories." It wasn't like she was meaning any offense with those words, but simply speaking the truth. She felt even a bit frustrated over the fact that she had missed out on those years, she was sure she had liked that Aizen fella.

For a second her eyes rested on the Fraccion behind Ulquiorra, then her glance went to the Numeros which arrived, before the gaze settled on the doll Luna held. A doll? She looked a bit more innocent now, but Lucy was not about to be fooled by that outer appearance. Was Ulquiorra's attidute and emotionless face all the time finally driving his Fraccion into a corner of her own sanity? Or did perhaps that doll have some deeper meaning? Oh well.. A small smirk entered Lucy's lips while she thought over Ulquiorra's question, she tilted her head slightly to the side while still resting her chin on her palm. "Well, if you know someone that knows exactly what it is he or she wants, then please introduce me to that person. You see at first I thought I knew what I wanted. I thought that wanting more powers and wanting revenge against humans would bring me everything I could ever dream of. But as time passed, I began to ask myself.. do I really loathe all humans? Wasn't it just a single person that took everything from me? And he is long dead now, of that I'm sure." It might not have been that common for Hollows or Espada for that matter to really remember something from their human lives, but Lucy had found out on her own, wether that was a curse or a blessing, that she still had glimpse of her human past stuck in her mind.

"So now I have power, I can actually do something about this hate or irritation that has grown with me for all these years. And instead, I find myself making excuses not to do anything. I find myself not able to fill up this void of emptiness. And I know I wont be filling that void either by killing off humans. There is nothing that can bring me my heart back, and I can only wonder if I can ever feel something close to what was possible to feel back then." He's probably going to think I'm an idiot for saying this, but aren't people always going on about being honest? It wasn't as if he had really shown that he had any respect for her so far, so Lucy didn't feel like she was losing out on anything. "I'm not saying I really miss being a human, but sometimes I just wonder a bit about some things." She raised her head up, stretched her lithe body a bit and then let out a small sigh. "And yes, that craving for power is what got me into being an Espada. Although you might not believe it, then I'm quite the fierce person when fighting. And although I recently became the Septima through some rank-up, then I can say with certain pride that I fought my way up to the 8th seat with my own two hands and my weapon." A soft chuckle escaped her lips while she kept talking. "For some it's perhaps enough to follow orders, and there is nothing wrong with wanting to serve someone that has greater powers and great ideas for the rest of the race. But I guess it has been proven well that I'm not a person that does well with just following orders."

IC: I see... it comes to me by no suprise he said with his usual tone of speech, he took yet again a sip of his tea, while he continued to listen to Lucy`s reasonings, after she was done Ulquiorra raised his left eye brown I can already come up with three people perhaps four who knew exactly what they wanted... as i am certain that you would doubt me i will prove it to you... I can already say that i belive in Incognita, and i also belive that she knows exactly what she wants... do you get me where im going with this? he closed his eyes briefly before staring at lucy again...



I was partially manipulated by the hyogoku, and it gave me some special powers.... such as this he motioned his left arm up before his left eye and holded it there for a second, then swept in his finger`s to slowly pull out the eye ball of its socket, clearly plucking it out and holding onto it in a firm grip in his palm, he closed his left eye as it had been stripped of his own eye... then crushing the eye in his palm it disenchanted into countless green spirit particles that surrounded them close your eyes... he said with an empty tone as he kept staring at her expression... he also let Luna enjoy this little tour de memories, as his eye would soon show them of the past... the hyogoku what it was capable off and what kind of man this Aizen was, also he was one of those four Ulquiorra had talked about earlier...







After the memories had flooded their minds and they returned back to reality Ulquiorra had a numero pour yet another cup of tea for him as he had finished his last one, his expression remained the same as he stared at Lucy, awaiting her reply well... what did you find out? he said appearing rather relaxed, yet still a bit stiff...

Luna briefly looked at Lucy, before closing her eyes as Ulquiorra had told Lucy to. She had heard of this from Aizen, when she had asked why Ulquiorra was walking around with only one eye. As the memories flooded in, she instantly felt the sting of sorrow and loneliness into her body. The first "scene", was of Aizen showing the human girl the hyogoku, explaining its abilities. The second one was the "birth" of wonderweiss, something she had witnessed herself..and tried herself. The last one was of Ulquiorra, the human girl, and a orange haired boy. The girl said the name "kurosaki-kun" several times, meaning that the orange haired boy was Kurosaki Ichigo, the one who had defeated her master so long ago. Luna remained silent for many minutes, but she had begun to shake, and lowered her head so her eyes were concealed by her hair.

"...Wondy...Aizen-sama..". Luna hugged herself tightly, trying to prevent herself from crying. The mere sight of them again, had torn open the wound in her heart that had come, when Wonderweiss died, and Aizen was defeated. She fell onto her knees next to Ulquiorra`s chair, and kept hugging herself, lowering her head a little further. It was clear the memories of them brought her in pain, but the fact that she haden`t cried, meant she had a lot of willpower..or she just refused to do it because of the punishment that could come for being to noisy. The fact that Luna felt deep sorrow for someone whom she had cared for deeply, made her appear more..human in a way. She was always kind, at least towards most, but if you even thought of attacking her master, she would be at your throat within a second, slashing away at your chest and throat until it separated.

Luna eventually controlled herself, standing up straight again. She had recovered quickly from her little "stroke", it was faster than she had done before. Placing her hand onto her chest, she remained at the chair`s side, holding a hand at the back of it. She knew that either Ulquiorra would punish her for suddenly talking, else he would simply ignored it, maybe give her a disappointed look. With Lucy..she didn`t really know. Considering the female espada had known Luna for all of twenty minutes, she would most likely ignore it as well.

(yea..Luna is a little messed up in her cute little head...happens when you have a master who is as emotional as an ice cube, no offensexD)

"Well, I suppose I could get what ya mean." She watched his actions, him taking his eye literally out before crushing it. What the fuck? Ew. Wrinkling her nose, she was about to inform Ulquiorra that she had no real joy of watching things like this, before she hesitated. There seemed to be a bit more to this than his joy of plucking his own eye out. ... thank God. Raising an eyebrow, she closed her eyes as told. Hmh 2 female arrancars... and a pretty orange haired girl.. She swallowed when the brown haired man came to view. Was that.. this Aizen? Lucy felt like she would have very much wanted to meet that man. What was going on with that orange haired girl though? She didn't seem like an arrancar, more like .. just a human. Wait.. this is that.. what was her name? Orihime? The female that had been kidnapped. Left mostly in Ulquiorra's care. Yeah, there were gossips also in Hueco Mundo. A new scene began, something like a meeting or something? Ooh the making of an arrancar? It was interesting to say the least to watch that. A small blush crept into Lucy's cheeks at the slight introduction of the blue haired male. Something about him was quite... captivating. Shifting a bit, she let herself be lead into the next scene. The fight... against Ichigo. Oh my.. very talented fella there. She actually felt a bit curious about him, although she steered clear of any trouble in the human world. Perhaps she'd pay that orange haired boy a visit some day. And that girl... it would be interesting to check in on her.

Opening her eyes slowly, still lingering with what she had just seen, Lucy's eyes widened just a bit upon the sight of Ulquiorra's fraccion seemingly having a bit of a breakdown. "Hey.. you ok there?" She had thought about approaching the girl, but decided against it. Somehow she figured her presence wouldn't be needed nor wished for. Geez, what is Ulquiorra doing to her mental health? "What .. I found out?" While glancing at Luna to make sure she was doing better, Lucy thought a bit to herself. "Well.. there was certainly a man there that knew what he wanted." There was admiration in Lucy's voice when she spoke of Aizen, that man had had impact on her just from this small "video broadcasting". "That was.. Inoue Orihime I saw wasn't it? She certainly was seen a lot." It wasn't something Lucy was used to, to feel a bit of a bitterness towards someone she had never even met. What wondrous abilities that girl must have... "You got close to her?" Lucy had the urge to bite out her own tongue just as soon as she had let that question slip. Goddammit. That wasn't something I was going to ask.

IC: Having knowingly shown to lucy small parts of what he knew about people from the past, his experience allowed him to study Lucy`s expressions, weather she was disgusted, blushing or showing simple admiration having thought that admiration was the furthest thing of understanding, it was clear to him that she got the message, Ichigo was also the third on the list and perhaps fourth was the woman, Ulquiorra noticed Luna shaking and all, it came to him by no suprise, those that where weak showed peculiar expressions when they where shown distressed or perhaps important memories of the past, Ulquiorra knew of this from before...

He paid no futher attention to his fraccion as she meantioned their respective names, his attention however was directed at Lucy once more about that blush Ulquiorra found it slightly odd he closed his right eye as well going trough the memory himself for a brief amount of time just speeding it up a lot, he froze the memory about where she had blushed and saw Grimmjow, so? did this female find this man attractive? something stirred inside of Ulquiorra as he opened his right eye again looking up at lucy once again, Unknown to him what that meant he thought about bringing the topic up.

He nodded to lucy when she responded about Aizen "Well.. there was certainly a man there that knew what he wanted."
"That was.. Inoue Orihime I saw wasn't it? She certainly was seen a lot." being slightly suprised that Lucy recognized the woman Ulquiorra raised an eye brown I don`t remeber giving out any names... but your correct he took yet another sip of his tea, Her next and last question made Ulquiorra`s eyes widen slightly before looking down at the reflection on his tea, he put down the cup quietly I think its time for you to leave Luciérnaga ... ... he said standing up from his seat pulling his arms back into his pocket`s he glanced at Luna for a moment ... please show her the way out... he said coldly as he gazed back at Lucy once more, one wrong word and things turned this way around... His Zanpakto Murushielago tightly strapped along his waist he headed for the inner sanctum of his palace.... he needed some rest before anything else...

"...Hai", she said in a light bow, not being surprised over his ignoring. It was better than a disappointed sigh or a insulting comment...yet it was still hurtful. Luckily she had gotten a little used to his cold nature, and almost found it calming in some ways. She had really sometimes wished she could be like him, having no emotions or memories that could hurt her. She had drawn back her wishes when she had found out he still did have emotions, it wasen`t showed much, but when you had spend so much time side by side, you learned to spot even the slightest of change. Ulquiorra`s sudden dismiss of Lucy, was most likely because of her last question around the orange haired girl. Through Luna had only spoken very briefly with the girl back when Aizen ruled, she had seen how she had penetrated Ulquiorra`s harden shell. He certainly had some feelings for her, whenever or not it was love or just friendship, she did not know. While she haden`t succeed herself in making him show direct emotions, it didn`t mean she would give up Their brief conversation in the pool before Lucy arrived, had made her more questions than giving her answers about him.

"Ulquiorra-sama...if i may ask for a favor..please wait for me before you go to rest..there`s something i need to ask you..under four eyes". Looking over her left shoulder, she looked at him. The sorrowful look had gotten even stronger, yet she was..smiling? Turning towards Lucy, she placed the cups back onto the tray, letting the numeroes move it into the shadows. "This way, Luciernaga-sama". She began to take a few steps in the direction of the exit. Having lived here for over a year, she had long ago learned her way around the hallways. She did not know if Ulquiorra would wait in his room on her before going to sleep, or if he had not bothered to listen to her words, she would simply wait inside, or right outside his room until he awoke...she knew the question could end up with him torturing her, but it had to be asked.

Should I mention that I know her name through gossips? Naah.. Let's just, leave that out for now. Her eyes widened a bit, and a look of disappointment crossed her face for just a second, as it seemed she had struck a rather weak spot in Ulquiorra. Ugh fuck.. She stood slowly up, pondering to herself if she should say something, but decided against it. With a small sigh, she gave the Espada which had turned his back on her, a small bow before she walked with Luna. However surprising it might have been, then Lucy seemed to be very troubled. She felt like she had begun now something that had better not been begun. She was starting to get involved with someone that could only bring her downfall. Ulquiorra was not someone to start thinking about too much, and he was not someone which would be easy to be around and try to hold your sanity.. or your heart for that matter. A fiery red strand of hair fell into her face, her hands were thrust inside the small pockets of her revealing clothing. The Sexta was not amused. Ulquiorra had opened a new door for her, he had showed her things from the past. He had showed her a side of him that probably not many had gotten to see. And now she was just.. going to get dismissed like this? A soft sigh escaped her lips while she looked at Luna. "I can manage to find my way out of here on my own." She had heard that Luna needed to talk with Ulquiorra about something, and as she knew pretty well now how to get out, then there wasn't much sense in keeping Luna around for longer.

As she was almost upon the exit, Lucy stopped. She stood there for a few seconds, before leaning against the nearest wall. Bumping the back of her head lightly against the hard and cold material, she closed her eyes and muttered a low curse. Was Ulquiorra doing this on purpose? Keeping her hanging like this, purposely pulling her a bit closer before abruptly pushing her back? "You bastard.." The proud beauty clenched her fists a bit before turning her head and gazing back towards the room where she had just came from. There's no way I'm just going to leave like this.. Pushing away from the wall, she started walking back towards the room. She moved slowly, not wanting to come in at a too bad timing. Luna seemed to have been very troubled and in need to talk with her master, and Lucy wasn't really all out of sympathy in regards of the other girl. If Ulquiorra thought he would be rid of her this easily, then he would be proven mistaken. He had come to her, he had mentioned to her those things about him wanting to change. And he would get to see that she was one Hell of a stubborn woman. The only problem was Luna. Lucy wasn't really sure where she had that girl.

Ulquiorra simply ingnored Luna`s words he had little intrest to discuss meaningless things of the past right now, he had more important things to do, Ulquiorra walked a formidable distance until he stood outside a square room, the door opened slowly and just as he was about to step in certain footsteps could be heard echoing louder for the minute, he stopped but did not turn to look over his shoulder as he knew who it was, clearly lucy was more stubborn than what he gave credit for, and luna did not seem able to stop the woman despite his orders... pathetic... he thought for himself... how long are you going to follow me?... from the corner of his eyes he stared at lucy once more...

The female was looking slightly annoyed for what reasons he had no clue...

Fully knowing the woman haden`t left, she had returned to Ulquiorra`s side, standing 5 feet behind in the shadows through, the half of her upper body and blue eyes being the only thing visible. The visible body signs on the woman and her recent actions, had made Luna realize the situation a little. Ulquiorra had let the woman have a sneak peak inside his thoughts and emotions, the few he had, and she had bitten onto it, her growing curiosity becoming stronger and stronger. She hugged herself around the waist, what caused him to let this woman do what she did? A certain feeling began to nag in her body along with the sorrow and loneliness...was in jealousy over seeing someone get close to his soften shell other than herself? Was it joy over seeing her master actually be interested in something? Or a whole third thing?

Hugging herself tighter, she let out a soundless little signs. She had felt like this before. Back in the desert, she had been completely alone. Aizen had come, taken her in and given her a home. When Aizen had been taken away, Ulquiorra had come, taken her in, given her a home. If i`m nothing but a failure in your eyes..why did you take me in... Remaining silent she observed the beautiful woman and her master. She looked down at the doll she was holding between her hands, at the section with orange hair. The human girl had really been something special, haden`t she? Lucy was also special...wanting others to see past her beauty. Even through Luna never really bothered with looks, she could relate a little to her. One of the reasons she wore such a non revealing outfit was because she would`t want to be judged by her appearance.

"Ulquiorra." Her voice was .. soft, smooth. Suspiciously friendly probably. His name danced lightly off her lips as she approached him in slow and elegant steps. She was smiling a bit, having managed to calm herself down in those few seconds which had taken to walk from the exit and to that spot. A new tactic was being planned. Anger and annoyance were not the ways to approach him. Feelings made him feel confused, and thus Lucy had decided to try a new approach. Clearly, by the fact how quickly Ulquiorra had made his way from his room, and from the way she had spotted his rather sad looking Fraccion following him, made Lucy wonder if he had even listened to what Luna had had to say. She stopped just a few steps away from Ulquiorra, looking at him while brushing a strand of fiery red hair behind her ear. It seemed like her hair had a mind of it's own, always wanting to attack her face with it's fiery strands. It was just as much alive as the flames which it took the color from. "Not that it's any of my business, but sometimes it is better to listen to people instead of just ignoring them." He would probably catch onto that she was meaning his ignoring towards the Fraccion.

"Listen, I have a big mouth I know that. I blurt things out which should better be kept inside. And I'm sorry, it wasn't my place to mention that ... thing I mentioned earlier." Her face had an earnest look on it while she sighed a bit, wondering if he even cared in the first place. "The thing is, I am already involved now. In you." A small smile lifted the corners of her mouth while she looked to the side. "We Espada... should really communicate a bit more. How can we be a strong army when all we ever do is sleep with one eye open?" Wasn't she just circling the subject now? Like a cat circling the too warm milk. "Can I assume you don't dislike my presence too much since you allowed me to see these things? Since you showed me hospitality?" Was he going to simply ignore her also, or was he going to take a step forward? She hoped he would take that step. Otherwise, he would probably always remain the same. So cold, so isolated from others. And so alone. Since Luna didn't seem to be making any move towards them yet, Lucy assumed she wouldn't have to worry too much about being attacked suddenly. But honestly she wasn't sure, the girl didn't seem all that stable.

Ulquiorra stared back at luna again and wondered what she was thinking about? she certainly did not look like she was emotionless like him? What`s wrong with you? he stared at luna with a serious look about it.

Your thinking why i picked you? im not here to be pampered by the likes of you or anyone one else for the matter, I thought you and i were alike... we have both been touched by the hyogoku, but it seems as my perception was wrong, Right now you are nothing more than a bur- Ulquiorra was stopped in mid sentece as he heard Lucy call his name with a smooth soft voice about it... with his arms in his pockets his sharp eyes fell on lucy once more...

He let her speak for a good long moment, "Not that it's any of my business, but sometimes it is better to listen to people instead of just ignoring them." was she educating him now? was she teaching him how to communicate with people? if she was then at least he could try to listen.

"Listen, I have a big mouth I know that. I blurt things out which should better be kept inside. And I'm sorry, it wasn't my place to mention that ... thing I mentioned earlier." So she was apologising now? Ulquiorra closed his eyes, as she continued to speak...
"The thing is, I am already involved now. In you."

Was there some deeper meaning in those words?

"We Espada... should really communicate a bit more. How can we be a strong army when all we ever do is sleep with one eye open?" .... ....

Ulquiorra started to walk towards her he opened both of his eyes now as his eyes had regenerated, Kokoro nanda? (what is the heart?) he stood within an arms lenght to Lucy before he stopped, and pulled his left arm up to her chest and with his mid finger touched her chest allowing his cold finger to touch the hot headed espada. Would i find your heart if i tore open your chest? he moved his arm up to her eye level, slightly touching her nose as well with his cold finger`s would i find your heart if i cracked open your skull? he pulled his arm up before him narrowing his eyes when he stared at his arm... or is it already here... in my palm? to her his words might not have made any sense... Ulquiorra however found it slightly odd that he had asked her these questions... he wanted to see how she would react... what Ulquiorra meant was if their souls where bound by each other? or was it too late for him already?

Ulquiorra stared at lucy for a moment longer before his lips parted again, no words came though...

(post is short because i don`t feel like narrating the words spoken)

"Than a burden?", she finished while having lowered her head, letting the doll fall onto the floor. It appeared as if she was crying again, but no tears fell down her cheeks. She walked out of the shadows, closing the gap between herself and the two espada`s, her head remaining lowered. She slided out her hands from her sleeves, and firmly held his free hand between her own once, the icy feeling of his skin being no surprise. "Its in those who really care for you, in those that can see beyond your appearance and see your true self deep within..". Even through she was still holding onto the hand, he could easily take it away since he was stronger than her. Luna lifted her head a little and looked up and him and Lucy briefly through her long bangs.

Luna lowered her head again and looked down at the floor, her fingers still being warm despite they still was holding his hand. The possibility for receiving a painful punishment for her actions was high. He would`t kill her, but he knew how to hit her in order to damage her the most mentally. She had said her words fully knowing that. She had been wanting to say the words for a long time, but he had always been wearing his protective shell. Lucy had cracked the shell a little, which had shown when he had chosen to show her the memories, and just now that he had asked Lucy the questions. She hoped that, if he was going to punish her, that Lucy would`t be present. It wasen`t because she didn`t think the female espada to be strong enough to observe it, it was just because she had defended Luna a few times, and actually treated her as something, and not just a servant. It was something only Aizen and wonderweiss had done before..Luna did not wish for a respectful and strong espada like lucy to witness her punishment..

(any more cheesy and it would sound like something from Disney x.x)

She watched him as she stood motionless. There was a small knot forming at the pit of her stomach, for whatever reason she didn't know. What is the heart? I wouldn't really expect you to know that .. Ulquiorra... She waited, not saying a word. Her eyes rested on his face as he stopped just barely an arms length away from her. Her gaze flew down towards his arm and followed his finger until it made contact with her. However weird it was, the cold touch didn't feel uncomfortable against her warm skin, on the contrary then Lucy felt like that spot he touched was drawing forth some of her fire. He moved his hand upwards, lightly touching her nose, and spoke again. What was he talking about? How could her heart be in there? Is this one of his riddle talks? She didn't move, kept her rich brown eyes fixated on him. "Or is it already here.. in my palm." When he at last drew his arm back, uttering those final words, Lucy's eyes widened just a bit. Was he implying,... no asking, if she was already bound to him in some way? Did he ask for her to take some sort of a "next step" now? Who would have thought things could get this .. confusing and yet.. exciting at the same time.

Her body heat was already rising a bit up, as always when she felt a bit out of place or not in control of the situation. She was sure her cheeks had a slightly reddish color to them, but she refused to acknowledge that as blushing. Blushing was something humans did, it was what those weak and uncertain ones did. Surely she was only ... warm perhaps feeling a bit flustered over his sudden actions. It was because of this unforseen scene right here. It threw her completely off balance. -He- threw her completely out of balance. This was a -really- awkward thing to be pulling off in front of his fraccion. Her eyes fell upon Luna, something very similar to sympathy darkening her gaze a bit. Wasn't she here, about to take a part of Luna's master? But should she really fight this, just because she felt like it wasn't fair? Sorry Luna-san.. but I guess we are gonna have to either share him or fight over him. Lucy still hadn't said anything, and the seconds ticked slowly while Ulquiorra seemingly waited on her response.

Taking in a deep breath, trying to find some of her usual courage and wittyness, she reached her hand out and placed it on his chest. "I don't know if your heart is here.." She moved her hand upwards, placing it lightly against his cold cheek. "Or if it's in your head. But I know you have a hold on mine." Her hand fell down, and took his own in a light grip. "You have it right here." And then, before she would totally chicken out, Lucy leaned in closer and placed a very soft kiss against his cold lips. It has often been said that actions speak higher than words, would that apply also now? Or would he just .. kick her butt for doing this? She pulled just a bit away, waiting on what he would do or say. Trying to ignore the presence of Luna for now, trying not to feel bad for doing this in front of her. But Lucy had a feeling that if she would walk out now, without having said or done this, then she would not get a second chance.

Ulquiorra Heard a noise behind him, a light noise when something walked towards him it was his fraccion she spoke "Its in those who really care for you, in those that can see beyond your appearance and see your true self deep within.." Ulquiorra stared at her momentarily allowing her to hold onto his arm which he had held in his pocket, he narrowed his eyes briefly but spoke no words... his arm did not react to her touch as if it was lifeless, Ulquiorra felt no need to punish her there was a small crack of hope in the darkness around him that perhaps he still had hope to regain his heart...

Ulquiorra pushed the thought aside as he slided his arm back into his pocket, now looking back at lucy again awaiting her answe moments longer, he stood motionless before her and luna, Ulquiorra took note of a small blush filling her cheeks? what could it mean had he hit her mentally somehow? she certainly seemed suprised.

She took a deep breath briefly before moving her arm up to his chest, speaking while moving her hand up to his cheek "I don't know if your heart is here.." "Or if it's in your head. But I know you have a hold on mine." Ulquiorra`s eyes widened slightly "You have it right here." his mouth opened briefly before he spoke I see... before Ulquiorra could however respond futher she moved closer to him, and placed a soft kiss on his black ice cold lips, he neither back away from her when she made the attempt to kiss him and neither did he respond back, simply stood there motionless with both of his arms in his pocket`s. It was now his time to be suprised, he had never expected any of it. He stared at her with his emerald green eyes widening slightly more than what her words had prevailed to do.

Was she serious? he closed his eyes briefly regaining his composure, once again his eyes opened his eyes traveled across Lucy`s petite figure, perhaps Ulquiorra thought he could be a bit nicer for his fraccion as well... what was that for?... he asked Lucy in a tone that he kept formal and somewhat polite yet cold as usual so she would not get any wrong ideas that she had perhaps made a bigger crack in his shell than what he wished, keeping an eye on her for a moment longer then turning back towards Luna, he stared deeper into her eyes than what he had ever done... his tail coats danced as he turned he took a few steps past Luna and picked her doll up and tossed it in her arms, he kept quiet about it none the less.

do you like music?... he asked the both of them... hardly showing any emotion in his tone or face... unkown to them Ulquiorra had used to play many different instruments such as Piano, Violin and Flute...

Luna felt the green eyes on her for a moment, followed by no pain. She felt a little relif come over her, him doing nothing but to look briefly, indicated that he had looked past her action. When the woman began to speak and moved closer to Ulquiorra, almost tenderly briefly touching his chest and then laying it onto his cheek, her blue eyes fell onto the red flush in the woman`s face, causing her to narrow her eyes. If you looked at Luna right now, it was clear that she was protective, and her eyes were showing a little hint of anger, without her knowing. As the woman carefully placed her warm lips over her master`s, she let go of his arm and felt as her left hand closed around the handle of her sword. As the sword was drawn halfway, she stopped herself by grabbing her wrist with her right hand. She looked towards Ulquiorra, whom had just asked what the reason for it was in his usual cold tone. She slided the sword back into its holster and lowered her head for a moment. She had been close to attacking one of the espada because she had laid hands on her master, had Aizen not told her to watch over his beloved espada? Had her new master really affected her that much that she had gone against her god`s order?

She raised her head a little again, only to find herself being looked directly at by him, longer than he had before. Being lost for words at the moment, she followed him with his eyes as he turned around, picked up the dropped doll, and tossed it towards her. She grabbed it firmly between her sleeved hands and hugged it against her body, before looking towards Lucy. Was she an enemy or an ally that Luna could use to break through his shell? The questions would have to wait, since Ulquiorra again spoke, asking if they liked music. Since he had been looking at both of them...did he ask her also? Already now his actions was rather unsual..was Lucy really that good in breaking into him? Deciding to answer the question, she tied the doll into her belt and let her arms hang loosely down her sides.

"..Aizen-sama told me a little about that concept..he even showed some items that could make music and displayed how some of them worked..it was really beautiful". It was not really a surprise to hear that the girl had learned that from the "god". She had practically been an infant when she was turned into a modified arrancar, all she had known up to that point was to eat other hollows, and the pain of loneliness. Luna then looked towards the red haired woman briefly, before lowering her gaze to the floor again, her long purple "mane" of hair covering up the eyes again.

A mysterious smile appeared on Lucy's lips, a new glow in her eyes. It was something very new and yet very.. satisfying to see a caught-off-guard Ulquiorra. "It was simply something I wished to give to you." Her answer could go for many things, if it was the kiss.. this moment.. whatever heart there was she still had. He could decide for himself what he wanted to take, there was after all a limit to how many steps she would take. It was interesting to think now about what had occurred. She hadn't known what to expect from the kiss, and therefore was pleasantly surprised that it had felt ... well nice. Even if Ulquiorra had just stood there like a doomed prisoner about to be executed, and even if his lips were as cold as his whole attitude. Her rich brown eyes fell upon Luna, and there were many things to be read from that gaze. She had indeed noticed the fraccion's reactions which had confirmed somewhat of her suspicions. She was probably just as jealous as she was loyal. This might be fun. A small huffing sound escaped her before she smiled to herself. To compete against a fraccion.. that was something very different indeed. For a moment a small shadow went over Lucy's face as she thought about her own fraccion. He hadn't been seen around much lately, and she had in truth felt... lonely.

"Music?" Lucy thought to herself, at first being a bit surprised at the question before trying to recall whatever information she had on that music thing. Surely she had heard songs when she was visiting the human world. She had once visited a store that sold CD's, and heard a few of the latest pop songs. Quite the fun thing. She also liked classical music, but hadn't gotten her hands on much of that. "Yeah I like music. It's both something that can relax oneself and also get oneself pumped up for action." She nodded, her gaze following Ulquiorra, wondering if he was about to do something surprising.

Ulquiorra had taken note of Lucy`s and Luna`s behavior, if she had decided to attack lucy for touching him he would not intervene, he was not going to stop luna for several reasons, even if she could have killed her Ulquiorra doubted Luna would have gone that far, besides she would probably have prefered to keep her alive for ingogita`s sake and for Aizen`s sake as well.

are you angry? why would you be mad at your own sister? (aizen called every arrancar as a family of brothers and sisters so im reffering to that) Ulquiorra had never had any personal issues with anyone except perhaps Inoue and Ichigo, despite people often misjudging his actions, weather it was right or wrong etc. Ulquiorra really could not care less about all that. He listened to both of their replies and nodded slightly are you enjoying yourself lucy? he said reffering to her satistifaction which he could not have missed by a mile, long ago i used to play different instruments, as i probably did when i was alive... he snapped his fingers together and several numeros gathered a short distance away from him holding onto different instruments one of them brought Ulquiorra a Violin and backed away, Ulquiorra stared at the two females with his eyes slightly narrowed, he had not played a violin for many years Pity, i might be a bit rusty at playing he started to play a song with the help of the numero playing their own instruments in the background.



At times he fastened the pace at times he halted the play nearly only to fasten moments later, playing instruments allowed him to express his feelings withouth having to show any on his face, it also made him realize just how much he had missed playing it, after Aizen`s experiments his lust to play had vained completley what was this feeling? he cared none, all that mattered was the moment at hand. His arm went back and forth faster everytime he picked up the pace, the violin was resting against his neck while he played it enjoing every moment of the soothing melody that echoed trough the halls and rooms of las noches and seemed to brighten up the place, he kept his eyes closed while playing, when he finally was done he stopped to look at the females briefly before he commented and stared at lucy brieflyI too... wished to give you something... he turned away from lucy to face the Numero behind he started to play once more closing his eye lids and to harmonice himself with the music.



After the second play Ulquiorra gave the violin back to the numero, who bowed in deep respect, he had not rusted at all, the fact was that perhaps he was just as good to play if not better than what he had been before, Usually he played in the sanctuary where he could be alone at all times but this was the first time he had shared his music with anyone else than the numero and a certain ex espada whom he knew very well...

Well... he said expecting them to comment somehow on his skills, Ulquiorra could tell what they thought about it just by looking into their eyes... I hope you did not assume that i don`t have any hobbies or that im not creative just because i am who i am... he turned to look at lucy and luna again... his Hakama had been left slightly open revealing his hollow hole, he adjusted his suit slightly briefly before pulling his arm up to his chest and pulling two fingers inside his hollow hole tapping it slightly with his fingers, his expression stood emotionless as he pulled his arm back down and zipped his white hakama shut. It was something he did rareley weather he was entireley aware of it was anybody`s guess, not to meantion why.

"Mad at my own sister?...", she slowy spoke while lowering her head a little, looking at the ground. "...Because i was afraid of what she did would take Ulquiorra-sama away..i was afraid of being alone again..". Even through the words were a little weird, it was what she meant. Luna placed a hand onto the left side of her chest, tugging the fabric of her uniform a little. She had almost attacked her own sister..went against Aizen`s order for her. Her loneliness had driven her to such an extend, that she would do anything not to be alone anymore. She was really trash, wasen`t she? Another thing Ulquiorra was right in...then again, he was always right..she had never seen him been wrong before. Luna, having been to lost in thoughts to hear his brief comment to Lucy, heard as said he probably had been playing when he was alive. Did this mean he remembered anything from before his time as a hollow? Luna´s memory was fragmented since she had "reborn", but she still remembered the voice of the kind human whom had been brutally killed by the shinigami, that had been supposed to safe her from becoming a hollow. The human still remained in her mind, but she figured it had all been apart of fate of his death. Had she been killed, she would have become a spirit in soul society...she would have become a shinigami, and maybe even ended as a captain...which would mean she would have taken part in the battle that killed god.

She was broken out of thought when the sounds of the violent began to fill the air, echoing off the walls in the empty rooms. There tones were....well, a lot. She wanted to cry, yet she didn`t feel sad. She wanted to smile, but she wasen`t happy. She observed the movements of his upper body, and the minor...passion in his face? It was hard to spot...but she could see passion in his eyes, something she was cable off since she had trained herself to be observant of even the slightest change in him, whenever or not it was body posture or just were he looked. It would might seem odd to some, but for her, it was a fraccions duty to know their espada in and out, so that they could help them the most. As he stopped playing the first song, Luna slided her hands out of her sleeves and clapped a little, smiling a little. She didn`t saying anything since it would probably just annoy him...he seemed to be happy just by talking with Lucy and playing his violin..she was of no importance in his definition of relaxing or heart, she was just his obeying shadow that followed everywhere, and a thing that god had left behind..

As his second song ended, Luna once again clapped, yet this time she stopped sooner as she noticed him touching his hollow hole again. "Anyone who assumes anything on appearance does not deserve to see..". She walked a little out of the shadows that had consumed her and looked towards Lucy. "Just look at Lucy-sama...she`s so pretty...but she`s more than a beautiful face, she has what most of us have forgotten..how to laugh, how to blush, how to smile..i have not forgotten these emotions myself..but that`s because i found happiness when Ulquiorra-sama took me in when no one else wanted me, picked up my shattered heart and reformed it just by being himself...". She smiled a little again, this time tilting her head a little to the left in a childish manner.

Luna walked across the stone floor again, her own uniform dancing by each step. Even through it was not as flowing as Ulquiorra`s talons, her uniform still had its own grace to it. She stopped between the two and made a bow towards Ulquiorra. "It was beautiful, Master...truly beautiful", she stood up straight and looked over her shoulder. "Don`t you think Lucy...-san?". Luna lowered her head a little, her eyes still being visible. She remained like that for a few moments, before looking towards Ulquiorra again, her smile having returned. "Truly beau-ti-ful!". She formed the word with her tongue, which once again gave her a somewhat childish, yet also innocent and warm aura around her. She spun around on the spot a single time, which resulted in her falling onto the floor. She rubbed her head a little as she slowly sat up, removing some of the long hair from her face. She then let out a brief but light..giggle?

"Gomen...i`m clumsy aren`t i? I would say sorry. but saying sorry won`t change the fact that i`m a klutz.". She sat up on her knees in order to get up, but stopped at the halfway point to dust herself off.
