Mission: Missing agent #1 ((Investigation)) (lightning and kenshirou)

Kenshirou removed his arms from behind his head to his sides with one hand resting on his katana. The human had lowered her hand and responded to Lightning's question, she had calmed down ever so slightly as did Kenshirou even though he was the one to calm her down. She knew who they were? Shinigami? That alone was too much information for any human to know of. Kenshirou looked at his Captain and seen her eyebrows furrow. A shinigami somewhere had broken the rules and had came into contact with this girl. He wanted to ask about the shinigami she had met but Kenshirou could lead astray from the mission at hand. It was something he would have to look into at a later date, maybe his Captain as well. The girl began to shake. The nerves must have been getting straight to her with two alien shinigami in her own home, it was enough to scare anyone.

Lightning then spoke once more. Her gentle words and facial expressions made Kenshirou feel more at ease about the whole situation. Indeed, this was a special kind of human, one that could see shinigami. Lightning mentioned that they were simply there to find a companion and had hoped that she could assist them in the matter. She had used the word friend instead of Lieutenant which turned Kenshirous head as this was becoming a regular saying from his Captain when meeting strangers, this made him chuckle. Kenshirou then faced the girl and let out a small mentioning. "My name is Kenshirou Uesugi...please, help us?" He said with sincerity once again. He thought that if he gave her his name, it would be one small step into trust with the human so in return, would help them.

It seemed that those two had come to search for a friend. When the woman said this shinigami they where searching for had been following her she knew who they where looking for. She had seen him around some times. She did not know why he was here but they had talked to each other some times. Miyu had calmed as knew what reason those shinigami where here for. She looked at the male as he told her his name and smiled a little. "I suppose i could help you... Kenshirou" she softly spoke.

For a moment she went silent and turned around walking to a wall. She put on the lights so she could see them better. "I think i know who you are talking about and i can help you find him. there had been a shinigami around here for some time... I don't know why he was here but he didn't seem wanting to go back to soul society." she said as she had turned back to the shinigami's. Was he really a friend of them? It didn't matter. She knew nothing of any of them. She had decided to help those two. trying to believe it was their lost friend. She smiled lightly at them and waited for what they were gonna answer.

Kenshirou was felt relieved that his methods of communication had gotten them the help that they needed. A friendly approach was necessary in the human world, especially if they felt threatened. Kenshirou smiled back at the human as she said she would help him, still hinting that she was still a little scared but calming down nonetheless. Kenshirou then looked at his Captain, she was puzzled but he remained smiling slightly as they were getting somewhere in the mission. He did not ask for her name in return though as he felt it was private and may sever their chances and the girl may go back on her word. The human then switched on the lights to the room, most likely to see Kenshirou and Lightning better.

The girl spoke. She thought she might know who they were talking about? Sightings of shinigami have been around lately and they seemingly did not want to come back to Soul Society. That was a crime in itself. Not returning could be seen as treason. Kenshirou then rubbed his chin and thought about what he and Lightning had just been told. Lightning then responded. This could possibly be a different shinigami or the same one who had broke several laws of Soul Society. It was then that Kenshirou began to worry about this shinigami. He was now being hunted and not just retrieved. Questions upon questions would arise in front of the Gotei 13 for this shinigami hearing, even if it was a different being.

Kenshirou did not add to the response, he left it to his Captain. Instead, he smiled again and nodded in agreement what with his Captain had just said and remained fixed on the girl, and spoke, 'You can answer her questions, it's all right."

Miyu smiled a little at the two. They seemed good people, maybe shinigami's weren't that bad after all. She only found it a little creepy that they where asking her questions as if they where investigating some big crime. The girl asked her if this shinigami they where searching for had told her information about shinigami's. He had done that yes, but he was not the only one. She had met quite a lot spiritual beings over the years and they all had told her some things she now knew about the shinigami's and soul society. In fact the shinigami's she had met hadn't even really told her the most she knew.

Miyu stepped closer to the two shinigami's and looked at Kenshirou who told her it was alright to answer. Her eyes wandered over to the female shinigami. "No he did not tell me anything. Someone else did." She lied. She knew that they where not allowed to interact with humans and that telling about them self was a crime. Miyu thought is was better to say this person they where searching for had not done anything wrong. Besides she did not want anyone hurt. They could get from her where he was but that was all. She was not gonna give them any more information. A feeling told her that something was not right and that those two where not searching for a friend.

Kenshirou gave an innocent smile to Lightning as he said Miyu could answer. He thought it was necessary to encourage Miyu rather than being pushed into answering. He knew he would suffer from his Captain later but there was more important issues at the moment. He looked at Miyu who moved cloaser and had given her reply. Apparently, there was someone else that gave her the information. He then looked at his Captain for reassurance. Lightning spoke asking to take us to the person in question. Kenshirou was none the wiser. He could not read people as Lightning could apart from the obvious actions implying how they felt.

He agreed with his Captain by a nodding gesture. Kenshirou streched and looked around once more. He looked out the window to ensure if anyone had followed them or not. "Mind if I have a look around?" Kenshirou said curiously. He just didn't like unfamiliar environments and wanted to know his surroundings, it was a sort of habit that had grew on him over time. It was quite intrusive of him to do so but maybe, if she had came into contact with a shinigami in her own home, there might have been a clue of some sort. Just a suspicion. He took a tour around the house, still listening into the conversation. The kitchen seemed like any other, as did the hallway. He then returned to the room they had came into as they entered the house and nodded to say, 'It's okay'.. He then crossed his arms and awaited for their next move.

Miyu watched the male look around her house. She did not like him looking around. Those shinigami should just stay where they belonged, back in soul society. Miyu frowned and almost wanted to take back that she was going to help them. She sighed in a somewhat angry way. she crossed her arms waiting till this shinigami was done inspecting the house. When he was done she turned to the woman shinigami. "okay follow me than..." she said and walked towards her door knowing they would follow her. She began to ran as she was outside. She knew they could easily keep up with her.

Miyu did not bother to wait for those too as she was secretly hoping she would lose them. She knew she wasn't but still she hoped so. She ran to the place she had seen this missing shinigami for the last time. The place was far out of town somewhere in the woods where no one came. Miyu began to run slower, soon walking. She looked back if the two shinigami's where still there breathing heavenly from all the running.

Lightning could see how much that Miyu disliked Kenshirou’s inspection of her house, she simply rolled her eyes at her lieutenant’s over suspicious nature. She knew he was looking for a good cause, however if this girl would do as she said and lead them to the shinigami they sought then they had no need to search for further clues or traces of them. Lightning could sense several different traces from the house, she knew that Miyu had come into contact with vizards. When she could not determine, but the traces lingered in the house like scents. If it was the vizards that were informing others of the ways of the shinigami then they had a problem, ally or not they would need to be dealt with by the Captain commander. But that right now was not the issue, what she was here for was the missing shinigami…and it seemed that he was not just missing but that he was bordering on traitorous.

Deciding she would try to comfort Miyu and ease the frustration she was beginning to feel at Kenshirou’s search Lightning spoke once more. “He means well, he simply wants to ensure that you are not being followed by any other beings” Sure it wasn’t the whole truth but it wasn’t a lie either. As Kenshirou returned to the room Miyu was quick to begin to journey, keeping up with her was not hard for Lightning and she gathered that it was not for Kenshirou either….she would have been concerned if he had had trouble. As Miyu started slow down due to exhaustion Lightning could see that she was a determined young girl, most would have simply walked the distance. Or was it that she wanted to be rid of them as soon as possible?

“You may walk the rest of the way, we are not in need of such a rush that you exhaust yourself”

Kenshirou watched as the human girl agreed to take them to their current destination. The place where the shinigami may have been. Kenshirou followed the two out the door noticing that the human girl had began sprinting across the streets to the place in question. Kenshirou flash stepped above her, following her, as well as his Captain. It seemed as though the young girl was running to get rid of them never mind showing them the way which left Kenshirou guessing. Surely the girl couldn't think it was possible to lose two shinigami, especially a Captain and her sub-ordinate. They finally reached the woods out of town, the girl was truly persistant to run all this way. The place was empty yet Kenshirou felt traces of spiritual pressure within the area. He looked at his Captain and nodded to see if she felt the same way.

Kenshirou appeared in a nearby tree as the young girl was gasping for breath. Lightning then told her that she could rest and not exhaust herself. Yes, it was a mission but the shinigami could not watch as their only guide grew exhaustion. Kenshirou then dropped to the ground beside her and reached for some water he kept in a container in a pouch around his waste. "Here, drink this." Kenshirou said with a small smile. He left it beside her in case she wanted to drink it while he looked around once again not straying too far from the two.
