Meeting Captain Black

The squad eleven barracks, there was no other place besides his old castle that Alaster would rather call home. It was roughly midday and the sound of clashing blades filled the air in and around the squads barracks. Alaster was making a quick adjustment to his life as a shinigami and he even was surprised when he was named vice captain of a division straight out of the academy. Of course Alaster knew the reason he was made vice captain was to fill the void in the position caused by the mysterious disappearance of many high ranking shinigami.

Alaster made the best of his situation however and knew that he also received his position do to his work ethic and his unusually high spiritual pressure, which was the highest of all the vices captains. This nice afternoon was in fact Alaster’s first day in the squad, he had just arrived and loved how everyone in this squad had the same competitive spirit that he himself had. Upon his arrival Alaster had made a quick greeting to a small group of seated officers and then proceeded to make his way to the captain’s office.

Making his way down a long walkway, Alaster finally arrived at the captain’s office, he took the time to take a few deep breaths and straightened out his clothes before lightly tapping on the captain’s door.

Solomon sat lazily behind a desk with his feet kicked up and a book titled To Kill A Mocking Bird lying on his face. On his desk were two very neat piles of papers, one for work he had not done yet and one for paperwork he had already done. Since the 11th division was one of the largest, Solomon had two very large piles of paper infront of him. All having to do with members of his division in battle, be it on a mission, getting back from a mission, wanting to go on a mission, or sustaining injuries from a spar. The finished pile was a little larger.

Solomon was just about to fall asleep when he heard a tapping on his door. Sighing as he removed the book and placed it on his table, he stood and walked over to the door. Placing his leather vest on as he walked towards it. Opening the door a crack he peered outside with hsi cold emotionless, green eyed glare. Locking them on his luitenant Alaster, a wonderful boy with great potential. Reminded him of Riamu in spritual pressure, though Riamu was only third seat and acked the control over his extremely high spiritual energy. Alaster had wonderful control over it, compared to at least.

" Hello Alaster. Business? Or did you just want to meet your new captian? " His voice was a deep Irish/Russian mix, though void of emotion.

The was no doubt that Alaster was nervous, after first impressions did count, and Alaster didn’t want to seem like he didn’t belong. Nearly startled at the sound of a voice, Alaster realized it was the voice of his captain. The young shinigami’s eyes shifted to the small opening, and he quickly bowed, knowing that captain could see him.

“Good afternoon captain Black. I came to meet you, your not busy are you sir?” he asked, Alaster’s words were polite but didn’t sound like they were coming from a weak person, Alaster had an attitude about him, one that said he knew his place but, he also wasn’t weak.
