Long day's work (open)

Tamashi walked through the crowds in the seireitei, having just come off duty and on his way back to the barracks, tired from his long shift. He had been working for the past twelve hours and he was beat. He wanted nothing better than to get to the barracks and drop. He shuffled through the streets, still in his uniform, with his Zan slung over his right shoulder.

He stopped a minute and looked up at the setting sun and sighed. He leaned a hand against the wall next to him, and shut his eyes momentarily, rather enjoying the feel of the slight breeze that tugged at his grey hair. He opened his eyes once more, a light smile adorning his features, and he continued onwards, less tired than he had been not a minute before.

He noticed the wall of dark grey clouds rolling in and thought that it might rain the next day, and he sighed, thinking about working through the rain. He personally didn't mind the rain, but work plus the rain just made for a rather lousy day. He turned a corner and was bumped into by a man. Tamashi didn't get to see his face, but he scowled at him. "Watch where your going next time."

Tamashi walked off slowly, sighing once more at this unwanted, and unneeded encounter. He leaned his head back and sighed, dragging his feet as he continued onwards.

Shuya wandered around seireitei, his head bent downward slight at an angle that was just enough for him to see his way without bumping into anyone. He had just gotten done doing another duty and was stuck wandering aimlessly without another thing to do.

"Another day, another waste of leftover time.

Shuya sighed and decided to walk off to a secluded area and sat down against a wall, Watching the people pass by.

Tamashi continued towards his destination, and sighed, completely bored now. He stopped again and sat down, on the edge of a roof. He had jumped up and was now just lazing about. He looked around at all the souls around himself, going about their business and he smiled. He leaned back and looked up at the sky, once again noting the clouds rolling ever closer.

He sighed, and got back up, walking across the rooftops towards his barracks. He noted where all the people around him were heading, and where they had come from, making up their personalities based off his assumptions, ans their appearance. He noted one man sitting against a wall secluded from everyone else and his brow creased, trying to place him, trying to figure out his story, which he couldn't, as he looked like any other shinigami did.

He jumped down and walked towards him, a small smile on his face. "Hey there. why you sitting off all by yourself, are you shirking off your duties?" He asked pleasantly.

Shuya looked up at the man who tried to start a conversation with him and shook his head.

"I've done all I can today. Now I am trying to whither away the day by sitting here. Shuya replied calmly.

Tamashi scowled at the male. He shook his head. "That sounds incredibly dull. You should do something, like hone your skills, or try to pick up women, or something..." He sighed and shook his head once more. "But hey if you want to waste a perfectly good day I'll leave you to it."

Tamashi began to wander off, wondering where Lin was. He smiled as he thought of her, and nearly walked into a wall without noticing. He shook himself out of his daydreaming and came back to reality. He chuckled a little at his own foolishness and looked up at the sky, not knowing what to do himself for the rest of the day.

Shuya scoffed at the man as he walked away. He had no intentions of training at all today and he certainly had no intentions of hitting on women since he was never interested in such a trivial affair such as romance and relationships. Shuya got up and waddled a bit from sitting as long as he had and getting up too quickly for himself. He sighed and looked around himself once more. Noting the buildings and their unique styles and shapes before setting off on his way. Figuring he'd take the man's advice on training.

"Such trivial nonsense. Why to go training on such a peaceful day? I can never be lazy around here without criticism." he mumbled to himself while tapping his sword's sheath lightly with his index finger.
