Any distinguishing features: He has a relatively lean face and a muscular body, noticeabky his arms, due to the fact he wears a sleeveless kimono. He has very noticeable scars across his right eye that was gained duing a hollow attack, however his eye is still intact and working fine. He also has 2 tattoos on the left side of his face, a tattoo of 69 resembling his hero Kensei Muguruma as he had a 69 on his chest when he first met him when he was mich younger. He also has a blue stripe tattoo across his face going from just under his left ear and ends just after crossing his nose. He is also known to wear a sleeveless kimono and wears another sleeveless haori much like Kensei. Finally, he has been seen wearing strange, squared chokers and armbands, which have slight explosive properties used mainly to stun or shock his opponent.

~Self~

Personality: he is a very calm and mature individual. He works hard and strives to do his best while maintaing a very strong sense of justice and goes out of his way to perform it along with trying to help and protect those that cannot. However, although he is strong and capable in a fight he has a tendency to attack slightly sneakily and trickster like, using tricks to shock and stun opponents and trying to ensnare them to move in for the attack.

Sexuality: Straight
Quirks: Has atendancy to go on about justice during fights and battles. He is also used to fighting in his sealed state with his zanpakuto, only really using it as a last resort. The same reasoning goes for his bankai, due to the fact that he does not like the shape of his own zanpakuto and bankai, showing skilled use with his sealed and shikai zanpkauto against equally strengthed or even stronger opponents.

History: Shuhei grew up in the outskirts of Rukongai with a small group of other young children as he did not grow up with any family. During one day out in the foresets near to Rukongai, he and his friends ere attacked by a large hollow. But before he was devoured, he was saved by a shinigami, and captain of the 9th division, Kensei Muguruma. It was from this point on that he wanted to become a shinigami and also idolised Kensei, and the the 9th division.

During his days as an academy student, he managed to excel in most areas of his training, showing great skill and potential. Because of this he was said to have been granted a place in the Gotei 13 before even passing the final exams. Also during his days as a student, he even lead a training session with 2 other students in the world of the living. However they were attacked by hollows and during the attack Shuhei's right eye was scarred and injured however he was saved by Izuru, renji and Hinamori, some students he had been training. Then they were then saved by the current Captain of 5th Division, Aizen, before returning to the Soul Society.

During his days as a proper shinigami, Shuhei never left the 9th Division, and quickly climbed the ranks, showing great strength and a strong sense of justice. This grew from his friendship with the Division's Captain, Tousen. They became close friends once he reached Lieutenant level and he learned much from him that he uses in his battles and in his everyday life to decide his choices. Because of his strong sense of justice, he also became close friends with Captain Komamora, especially after Tousen defected from the Soul Society.

During the war against Aizen, Shuhei was not generally on the front lines but was back at the Soul Society training hard tying to get stronger and filling in for his captain. Although there was a great burden on his shoulders he tried to bear it all by himself without the help of others, and managed to get along alright. Then during the battle in Karakura town, he managed to fight and defeat a captain level arrancar as well as fighting a giant hollow that had managed to defeat Rangiku and Hinamori. However he too was defeated and gravely wounded.

However even with his wounds, he still managed to get back on his feet after only little healing and began fighting his ol captain, Tousen. he was then however gravely wounded, twice by his former captain, and left for dead, before returning, and defeating his captain before he killed Komamora. During his last moments with his Captain, Shuhei was glad that his captain had seen the wrongs he had made, and that he could see his face at least once, before he died.

Following the time after Aizens defeat, no-one had still yet to take the 9th Division's captain's seat. So Shuhei had decided that as he was already familiar with the squad members, plus the fact that he had been filling in for so long now he felt like he was already the captain, Shuehi swore to become stronger and to leanr Bankai. He easily managed to achieve this due to his fight with Tousen and the long years of training before the war with Aizen and managed to pass the Captains Exam, and take over officailly as the 9th Divisions Captain.

~Zanpakuto Information~

Name: Kazeshini (Wind Death)
Sealed Blade appearance: It looks like regular katana with a dark purple/blue handle and an octangular tsuba. He generally carries it on his waist but does sometimes wear it on his back.

~Shikai Information~

Release Phrase: Reap
Released blade appearance: His zanpakuto takes the shape of two spiked rods tethered together by a black chain which can extend long distances. The 2 rods then have 2 curved blades slightly resembling scythes, with 1 inverted balde.



~Shikai Techniques/Abilities~(seated officers can have 1-2 shikai abilities depending on the strength of those abilities, Lieutenants can have 2 of considerable strength, and Captains can have 3 powerful ones. )

Name of abilty/technique: Blade Spin
Description: Shuhei spins either of his blades in a cricle extremely quickly creating alsmot a saw-like blade which he can then throw at targets.

Preparation: Has to have one of the blades in his hand to be able to spin it

Name of abilty/technique: Energy Scythe
Description: Shuhei charges his blades with reiatsu making them glow green. He can unleash them in a single strike or throw the blade and have it explode on contact.

Preparation: Has to have one of the blades in his hand to charge. Can spin his blades to charge quicker.

Name of abilty/technique: Kido Channeling
Description: SHuhei has the ability to channel most Kido (hado and some bakudo) through his Shikai's chain and have the effect happen at the blade or through contact with the chain.
Duration: As long as the Kido
Cool Down: 4 posts
Preparation: Whatever the preparation for the Kido is and must use one blade to tap the chain to activate it.

Name of abilty/technique: Chain Extension
Description: This allows him to extend his chain and then retract it at will so it will reach far off targets and then not get in his way. It has quite a long range but is limited.
Duration: Passive Ability
Cool Down: Passive Ability
Preparation: Has to at least throw a blade or pull a blade back before it can extend/retract

~Bankai~(Captains only) (no more than 3)

Name: Wasnt sure of name in japense :S so Scything Demon Wind Death (or somthing along those lines)
Bankai Appearance/spirit manifestation: He gains only a single blade, however it is a dual blade much like a single one of his shikai blades, with curved, inverted blades. Also, in addition, black chains cover both his arms and fists restricting movement only very slightly. These chains can then attach themselves to the dual sword he wields to help spin it around.

~Bankai Techniques/Abilities~

Name: Energy Blade Spin
Description: Shuhei pours his reiatsu through his chains, amplifying its power and spins his dual blade extremely quickly while it begins to glow a turquoise colour before unleashing a huge blast of destructive energy in a wave released from the blades.

Preparation: He must pour his reiatsu into his sword before firing it and must spin his blade before firing.

Name: Energy Chains
Description: Shuhei can summon green energy chains from the chains around him. He can use these in one of two ways. The first is to use them as whips and weapons by concentraing his reiatsu to sharpen the chains links. The second way is to use them as a way of trapping enemies limbs, for instance wrapping around an arm. He cant then make them sharp enough to cut the arm however and must decide what he will use them for before summoning them. He can control them telepathically. Also should a limb be captured it will slowly drain the target of reiatsu nd make the limb useless for about 4 posts. Can only summon 2 chains at any one time, and both must have the same purpose.
Duration: 3 posts, up to 5 if he doesnt use them at all
Cool Down: 5 posts
Preparation: Has to concentrate his reiatsu through the chains on his arms.

Name: Chain Shield
Description: By using his reiatsu he can strengthen the chains on his arms to enough to be able to block a few attacks from a captain level enemy, such as an espada in resurreccion or other captain in bankai. This isnt passive and requires him to focus on the attack, as it can only block spiritual or physical at any one time, not both.

Preparation: Has to concentrate reiatsu to harden his chains.

The sun had began to set, and there was a slight breeze in the chilled air, which rustled Shuhei's hair and sleevless kimono slightly. He was standing alone on the top of a hill, where 2 posts had been pinned into the ground. He stood there silently, staring at both of them. 'Captain Tousen ... Im glad, Im glad that you saw it.' He kept the same expression on his face the whole time, although deep inside he was in pain. He stared over the hill, a hand resting on his zanpakuto, staring into nothing, but remembering evrything about his captain, his captain that had died not too long ago. 'Im sad your path for justice led to your death, Captain, but I will carry out justice, for you, for your friend, for everyone. Goodbye ... Kaname.' He turned way from the graves, sighed, and began walking down the hill back towards the soul society. He had a lot of work to fill in for while his squad was without a captain.

'I thought i asked for these reports to be in by today?' He was sitting at his desk back at the barracks while going over reports from recent missions. 'Im sorry sir, but ... well ... you see ...' Shuhei held up a hand and looked at the young shinigami, 'It's alright, the loss of our captain is weighing heavily on everyone, I'll let it slide, this once.' 'Why er thank you Lieutenant!!' the shinigami stumbled in reply, 'Dont mention it' Shuhei replied, in a very calm and manner-of-fact way. The shinigami took his leave and left Shuhei alone. He sighed to himsel and leant back in his chair. The window was open and a cold breeze was blowing from the darkness outside. He hadnt noticed how late it had gotten. He pushed himself up from his desk and wandered outside for a walk. And before he knew it, he had bumped into Captain Komamura.

He nodded to him silently 'Captain Komamura, sorry about that i ... was distracted slightly.' The giant figure nodded back to him, 'Lieutenant Hisagi, thats understandable, want a walk?' he asked, and so Shuhei nodded and began following him, smiling slightly. 'Im glad, Sajin, that at least we helped him in the end, adn now, we can carry out what he would have wanted, for the soul society, for everyone.' Sajin smiled, and noded while replying 'Yes, i am glad too, but there was no other way, but your right, now ... its up to us.' They walked in silence, untill they both found themselves back at the graves, staring out across the stars. This time however, a single tear began to fell from Shuhei's cheek, and he smiled, a happy smile. 'Goodbye, Kaname.'
